“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.”

“Our first visit to Pho 777 was exceptional! We found this place online, wanting to try someplace new. We started with two different types of spring rolls with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was some of the best I’ve had. The entrees came out at the perfect time - I had Steak Pho and Mark had the Spicy Pork and Beef. The flavors - so many, a true flavor explosion! There was nothing disappointing about either one! Service was great and the food was top notch. We will be back!”

“Quick friendly service. I like their spicy chicken. We first fell in love with them when we lived in Va. We were excited when they opened restaurants here in Mi. They are a first choice when we look for fast food.”

“The beef pho was rich, fragrant, and comforting, with tender beef and a flavorful broth. The bun rieu was a standout. The broth had a wonderful depth of flavor, and the pork meatball tasted house-made with a subtle crab flavor that made the dish feel especially authentic. I also appreciated that the noodles were different from those used in the pho.

The vermicelli platter with grilled protein was fresh and interactive, with plenty of herbs and vegetables for making your own wraps. The shrimp lotus root salad was refreshing, light, and felt incredibly nutritious while still being packed with flavor.

Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the portions were generous. We left full, happy, and impressed by both the quality and value. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food beyond just pho, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

“Discovered Buddies Grill when looking for a sports bar that was playing NBA Finals. Few bars I went to before weren’t playing the game but luckily Buddies had on (with volume) soon as I walked in. Michael the bartender is excellent at his job. Very personable and can tell is well liked from regular customers. Buddies Burger combo was also delicious! Cold beer went down nicely watching the game. Decided to come back next night as Michael said he’d have the NHL Finals on as well. Easy choice to return. Pricing I think is fair (compared to Ontario bar pricing anyways). Thanks for filling my NBA/NHL Finals needs on trip down for NASCAR! -Miller Light Mike from Soo Ontario”

“We stopped into Breadsmith while visiting family from out of town. We grabbed some pastries and banana bread for our family. We had a wonderful experience talking with the owner. As we were leaving after checking out he grabbed one of his most popular bread loaves (Michigan Cherry Walnut) and gave to us so we could try it. It was so incredibly nice. Will definitely be back when we return to Michigan!”

“This is my favorite Chinese spot in the area. The menu is huge, lots of choices, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The food is always hot and prepared fast, the portions are generous, the works are friendly and polite, I really have nothing bad to say about this place, I do recommend to go because there is only one dine-in table, but otherwise, this place has a regular rotation in my house, everyone likes it.”

“delicious food, big serving size even without buying double meat. two people can share one teriyaki special (their best dish) I see too many people wasting their money at panda express when yum japan is right here. yum japan's chicken is cooked right in front of you hibachi style, so it is always fresh. The hibachi guy also asks if you want extra sauce, i suggest saying yes because it is delicious!”

As it was my own error and the timeline was really tight, they were under absolutely no obligation to help me fix it, but they did and were incredibly kind about the whole ordeal. They were courteous, understanding and the subs were fantastic! So thankful for their top notch customer service and will definitely be back!”

“I want to thank Terry at the Okemos, MI store for saving our family Christmas! I got there ten minutes after the store closed and I was devastated. I got on my phone to check their hours. To my surprise, someone answered the phone! When he found out I was in the parking lot, Terry came and let me in so that I could buy the ham for our party. He had to turn the lights on and reopen the register, but was nothing but friendly and cheerful! Many employees wouldn't have even answered the phone, but Terry went above and beyond. Thank you for making our family party meal a success! (By the way, the ham was absolutely delicious!)”

“The Chapbook Cafe is such a cozy spot! The food and drinks are delicious; my personal favorite order is a hot chai latte with a scone! As an added bonus, the employees are friendly and quick to whip up your order! 11/10, would recommend.”

“Pancheros goes above and beyond for their customers—especially their general manager.
About a month ago, I had a bad experience with a DoorDash delivery from Pancheros. When I called to place a new delivery order for a big leadership meeting at work, I shared my concerns about the previous delivery. Although the issue wasn’t Pancheros’ fault, the general manager offered to personally deliver the food to ensure everything went smoothly. The food was fantastic—and the customer service was even better!”

“We stopped to get coffee on the way out of town and a donuts for our daughter who was sad about having to leave. Finn took our order and quickly changed the whole mood of our car. It went from sad and stressed to light-hearted and happy. He went above and beyond for all of us and gave us customer service that is rarely given anymore. Our coffees and donuts were perfect as well. If you are looking for great coffee and amazing customer service this is the place and Finn is your guy!”
