“The decor is super cute! It was our daughter's birthday so she had to pose with the wall. We had never been in so we weren't sure of our options and there were no other customers in the building at the time, so I felt that the staff being frustrated with us was a little rude. The shakes were great but for basic blended ice cream it was pricey. They had a lot of flavors and their freezer was fully stocked on cute cakes. Overall, we would go back and recommend it to others.“
“The place was very clean and the young lady working was very helpful and explained how the frozen yogurt and such is priced and we were able to try the flavor we hadn't heard of before, taro I think it was. 2 of us ended up getting it, so we were glad we got to try it. My daughter loved picking out her frozen yogurt and choosing from all the toppings.“

“I pointed Babes out to my boyfriend recently and mentioned we should try them out soon as the menu looked so tasty. He surprised me today with an order to try out a few of their sandwiches: the Betty, the Margaret, and the Fran. My first comment is on the size. He ordered halves, with the thought that they would be smaller sandwiches that would be just a couple bites for us to try. We didn’t realize that it was half a sub! But we powered through, because after one bite, there is no way we weren’t going to try all of them. Literally, some of the best sandwiches either of us have ever had in our lives. So much flavor, the perfect bun, and everything was obviously put together with so much thought. The Margaret in particular was my favorite; a little bit of heat and a tad sweet. So glad to finally tried Babes out, and so thankful to have a new Lansing favorite! Highly, highly recommend.“
“Took the kiddos for a quick trip to check out MSU's campus and vibe... This is a MUST DO when in East Lansing! I could tell it's a special place, too, because generations of Spartans were getting their ice cream "on"here... Delicious ice cream... will definitely stop when the weather warms up again. Yum!“

“I went at 8pm on a Monday. They closed at 9pm and it was bumping like crazy. Drive thru went into the street. Service seemed slow until I got to the window. I don’t know if I have an easy order, but by the time I sign the bill I had the ice cream already. Amazing taste, great size, great price, nice employee. “Lifetime customer here! Been ordering the Strawberry/Lemon twist with peanuts for at least 15 years. This little ice cream spot has changed ownership several times in my lifetime but it remains a staple for me when visiting Old Town in Lansing. I also like the Banana split if I'm skipping a meal altogether.?“
“Had a small hot fudge sundae with nuts, and it was great!! Very good portion more like a medium size...yum! We also bought two doggie sundaes which was ice cream with two small biscuits, my dogs approved!! This is our go to place in Holt. “There's not enough I can say about this place. I grew up eating here several times a week. I lived right around the corner on Steele St so it was a must. This place has very reasonable prices and a huge selection to choose from.I have since moved away however whenever I am back in town it's a must stop. They are seasonal and only open Memorial Day through Labor Day. This place is everyone friendly even pets! I used to take my Rottweiler there every time we went for a walk and she would patiently wait for her cone to come out, once it did it did not last long. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The food that they serve has also been really good and again at a fair price when everyone else has raised prices. They have seating on the sides of the business and there's room to park all around the business. This is a Mason Michigan Staple, if you're ever passing through you have to stop in and get some ice cream. Yes I am bias but this is the best ice cream you will find, I love the Dairy Hill and will always go there when ever I am in town! Thank You Dairy hill for 40 plus years of my life for the best ice cream around!“

On the day of our pickup they let us know they had not received all the ingredients needed and would not have a complete order for us, but they would deliver the complete order to us the following day.
