“Stopped in for a beer on a Friday night around 7pm. Not too busy at the bar, bartender asked if I needed a menu and I said no and I was ordering a beer and was cut off mid sentence and told they only had one server and one busboy as they got slammed during the MSU game. He promptly buried his face in the computer and I waited 3-4 minutes until nothing and I left. I understand busy times but it would have took him 1 minute to pour me a beer. Not good customer service and if he’s your manager that’s too bad. Thanks“
“We’ve been going to this Applebees for a while now and I’ve got nothing but good things to say. We have had Adam S. as our server for the past few times and have had an amazing time with him each time. Coming from a customer service background, I was shocked on how amazing he consistently does. He always has a positive attitude, ensures we’re good on drinks, checks in on us, and goes above and beyond. It feels that he’s an essential part of the team at this location and easily has the best attitude out of every team member we’ve interacted with. He’s very personable and we enjoy seeing him every time we visit. I highly recommend this Applebees location for its good food and GREAT service. We hope Adam receives his well-deserved praise and keeps it up!“
“Love this place, and the food is always great. Unfortunately tonight our waitress was very slow and when we got there asked for our drink order, she got my wife’s drink but then went and got 8 waters for two different tables then stood behind the bar chatting with another server for at least five minutes. Then finally brought me my beer. So understanding she was busy/slow at getting drinks I ordered appropriately. Our friends were leaving asked for their check we told her we were staying but brought us ours too. We paid it but told her we wanted two more waited 15-20 minutes she never came back so we left.“
“I have lived in the area for several years, and drive past Dagwoods almost daily but had never tried it until yesterday. Wonderful food at a great price with great staff. I am personally not much of a sports fan so I didn't get anything out of having the games on, but I know that the main crowd is people watching various athletic events. Not my scene, but if you expect to go into a sports bar on a friday night and not have a game on, you are going to the wrong place! Food was great. We ordered the quintessential bar meal: a burger and fries, which was just spectacular. Two people getting a delicious meal for $18 bucks is unheard of in this city, but it happened here! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.“
“This is a cool little spot. I hadn’t been there in a few years, or since it’s been under new ownership. I went in there to play pool on the one Valley table that they have there. The owner is a pretty cool guy and very sociable. I hear he is pretty generous when serving drinks, if you get one. He plays good music as well.“

“This is my girlfriend's and my favorite place to go. Everything about it is comfortable and tasty. Highly highly recommend for any age range.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a wheelchair user and it is super roomy to move my powerchair around without feeling like I'm bumping into customers or waitstaff. “A really nice place to hang out and watch a chill band, play soccer, or play volleyball...or do all 3! Great patio with lots of well-kept greenery. Kudos to the plant people! Nice selection of food and wide variety of beer and beverages. You can also bring your doggo. You won't see anything from the road so you'll just have to go up the long drive to see for yourself. Highly recommend!“

“In my quest to find the best burger in Lansing, I happened upon the Rusty Mug. Certainly one of the best three burgers that I have had in Lansing....I would heartily recommend the burger with fried egg and blackberry jam...It was properly cooked to temperature (often people err on the side of overcooked l). The sweet potato puffs are also quite good. Rusty Mug is also across from Blue Owl coffee (for my money, the best coffee shop in the Lansing area). Enjoy!“

“I literally loved everything about my experience this evening, but why did it take over an hour to be served our 5 Wraps or Hamburgers on a Monday evening? I feel communication is key in any business and nothing was said to us about how long the food was taking tonight. So, in my mind as a paying customer with high expectations, I assume this is how things are always run here. Of course, I’m hopeful this is not the case, but when nobody communicates, people will automatically assume this is the norm for this business.If our waiter would have just communicated and been up front about the situation, I would have given 5 Stars. Food was great and he was a really nice guy, but waiting almost an hour and a half on a Monday evening for some bar food seems so wrong without any explanation. Thanks for occupying us and our time with Bingo while we waited and for the Hometown feel of your bar!“
“The place is really active. The restaurant of course is a little more slow motion than the rest of the place being it has different sections but they all open up to each other fairly nicely. From the bowling lanes to the arcade to the restaurant it's a nice setup. So when I give it five stars of course five stars within the type of place that it's meant to be. In other words the restaurants more of a sports bar restaurant so when it comes to sports bars this is definitely in my book of five star little higher end Sports Bar.Parking: It's wide open I got a huge parking lotKid-friendliness: Oh this is definitely the place to bring your kids you can sit down to a quality meal and your kids can be off out your airplane in the arcade or bowling. Definitely plenty to keep the kids attention!“

“My family and I LOVE coming here!The food is just the best. From the grinders to pizza it has never failed me. The options, quality and taste is enough to satisfy my appetite. However, their appetizers are so skimpy! They barely give enough to share so that’s the only bummer about their food.The arcade is awesome with a variety of games and perspectives. The bowling alley is also great and have had gatherings with food service.I cannot say I’ve had a bad experience and I frequent every other week for the past 3 years.“
“Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“
