I'm a regular reginal I believe his name is isn't wear any gloves making everyone's food, tacos are made with hands and it's just being pulled out onto the cutting board. Then added into the shell with no gloves on. it's disgusting and can get the place fined...

Have been here many times, food was always excellent. Tonight my wife took two bytes from her joes burrito. Something was off in taste. We have had these many times before and they were great! She sent it back and ordered one of the burgers we asked for our check. We saw she was charged for her burrito. We asked waitress and she said owner said she ate to much to not be charged. Two bites only then was after first was try again, still not good. We have been going here for past 3 years 2 to 3 nights a week or ordering to go as we live in town. We will not be going back as sign says cooks needed, maybe pay more attention to actual customers Joe and not just your friends. You have a good thing there Joe, don't let your parting with friends in your bat take you down!

The Walnut is a local staple. My father told me stories of him coming here as a child, teenager, then having his first date with his still significant other here. I decided to take my husband and we immediately understood the vitality of this restaurant. The food is immaculate and affordable, my husband and I ate lunch (quesadilla and mini tacos), plus drinks, and spent less than $30. The owner was there and checked in on us, asking how our meal was. The waitress was kinda rude and made fun of us to another table (“Imagine coming into a bar and not knowing what to order” because we got water), but that didn’t change our experience. The Walnut was delicious and I will definitely keep coming back!

Just an FYI they charge extra for cards. And when I asked the owner to make sure it's on the receipt so customers are aware he argued with me and said it's up all over. It's not. It's up in one spot behind the bar.On top of the fact that service is very slow and the drinks are very weak. Don't stop here if you want a quick meal.

Staff is great! Food is some of the best bar food in the state. The pizza compares with/better than most pizzerias. Price is excellent for both food and drink. The daily specials are always on Facebook and always good.
