Went in for lunch with my husband . We got sandwiches lemonade and fries . Too much bread and not enough meat in the sandwiches but everyone's cutting back somewhere . The problem was the loud music we couldn't even talk without yelling at each other and when I got a phone call I couldn't hear who the caller was . The management was kind enough to turn it down but does it really have to be that loud to begin with ?
My husband and I both ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. I ordered a small and he ordered a regular. When we got the subs, I laughed. It looked like there was the same amount of meat on both sandwiches. He just got more bread! The flavor on the sub was pretty good, though it could have used the tang of an Italian dressing (not offered at Penn's). The staff was awesome. But the manager with the blonde hair was literally the worst. She berated her employees in front of the patrons over very trivial things. Absolutely wild and super unprofessional. She needs an unpaid vacation.
