“One of the original last old school bars on the west side. People from all walks of life hang out here. Mostly locals, but don't compare them to other businesses. Check your pre judging at the door. It's not for people that want a business to cater to them and what they expect. They are not here to entertain you or listen to your silly complaints. Get a drink and relax. Everyone has experienced problems - you are not special, remember that and you will enjoy yourself.“
“I enjoyed my experience at this place. The first time I visited, I just ordered a beer. But I made a special trip back because the chicken wings looked pretty good as the waitress was bringing them by.So when I returned, I gave the wings a try and was very impressed. They were seasoned with a dry lemon pepper rub and I ordered ranch on the side.I also liked the fact that they have 32oz mugs for their draft beer. I felt like a champ drinking out of a glass that size.I also enjoyed the atmosphere of this place as well. It's a very blue collar feel with many tvs to watch sporting events.In the back corner of the bar, there is a spot with darts and other bar games.Overall, I will definitely be back in for some beer and wings when ever back in the neighborhood.“

“I had decided to stop here, at the last minute for a beverage and a snack on my way home, as I didn't have the best day. I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I sat at the bar, and Mindy, the bartender, took care of me. She was most pleasant and cheerful, and though she was busy, she made everyone including me feel like they were the only customer she had. I ended up staying longer than I had planned, this is by far the best experience I've had at Applebee's, thanks to Mindy who turned my less than stellar day 180° and ended it way better than it started. Standard ales and brews with some IPA's mixed in along with a variety of mixed cocktails including local specials.The food has always been on point. My absolute favorite so far has been a cup of clam chowder and plate of fresh fried fish and fries. Not fried in overused butter nasty oil. Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams.Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals.Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. Plenty of screens to watch the game or just hang with friends. “The staff is very friendly and personable. They will have a conversation with you when time allows. The food is great and the the prices for everything they offer are reasonable. Good deals on their daily specials of food. Thursday night at 9 pm they have karioki.They have plenty of table seats, bar seats, an ATM, a pool table, jukebox, darts, Kino, lottery tickets, pulltabs, and a wide selection of beer and liquors, including draft beers. They also offer some wines. I recommend checking the place out, either with friends or alone, I doubt you'll feel lonely.“
“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

It's bar food -- but great bar food, especially the burgers and fries (Every time I hear someone brag about Millers in Dearborn, I tell them Miller's doesn't hold a candle to Mason's burgers). Servers are always friendly. Always a game or two on. The decor is fascinating and in good taste. Just a cozy favorite my wife and I hit up every month or two. Highly recommend.“

“A group of friends and I went to this location last night and the service was terrible. 40 mins for a beer, over a hr for our food. Speaking of food... some of the group complained that it wasn't prepared properly (undercooked). Also they completely forgot my order. The whole table was eating but me smh. To top it all off, they charged us a extra $10 per person for a fight we had no interest in watching. The flyer on the door said it's a cover (never seen a cover at Twin Peaks mind you) for those who are seated after 9pm. Our party was there prior to 9pm and we were basically told that we'd have to pack up and leave or pay the "event service charge". I talked to the manager several times and he was unwilling to wave the fee no matter how bad our service was. I frequent Twin Peaks atleast once a week, and this was by far the worse experience I've ever had. They will never get another dime of my hard earned money.“

“We were working in the area and got hungry. When I called to see if the kitchen was open the man said he was closing but would make us food. He was so polite so I hung up and checked out the menu. Called back within minutes and placed our order. My husband got the BLT dinner (sandwich fries and pickel) and I just got a cheeseburger. It was only 21.00 we can't even eat at fast food for that price... my husband loved his BLT so much he called to tell them how delicious it was. He said "Hands down BEST BLT I've ever eaten. My burger was perfect I asked for well-done (I can't eat pink meat) most people burn it, not this place. It was cooked with perfection and tasted sooo good. I only ate half because it was gigantic but I'll definitely ear the other half tomorrow.. I very rarely eat my leftovers but I will most definitely eat this...Next time we are working in the area we will definitely head out early so we can go sit down and eat... HANDS DOWN GREAT FOOD!!! “Haven't been here in years mostly because of the smell and mediocre service however went here after work recently and was pleasantly surprised! It no longer smells like spilled alcohol and stale cigarettes. Also the server we had was very attentive and nice. The bartender also was courteous by asking if the music was too loud as she was adjusting it. I've never encountered that before and quite honestly it should be more often in other establishments!The food was good. Deep fried food didn't taste like old grease & my friend's gyro was HUGE (and she said it was good).Happy to say we'll be back. Much better atmosphere there now than in the past for sure.“

Every Tuesday, there is some type of Mexican dish at a great price. My favorite so far were the mouthwatering brisket tacos which you can order individually and include a hearty amount of brisket.The bar tenders are friendly, attentive, and fast and are very good at answering questions about the food/drinks. Additionally, the chef clearly takes a keen interest in keeping the menu fresh with yummy foods.I can’t wait to see what other creations the chef puts together! I’ll definitely be back soon.“
