“One of the original last old school bars on the west side. People from all walks of life hang out here. Mostly locals, but don't compare them to other businesses. Check your pre judging at the door. It's not for people that want a business to cater to them and what they expect. They are not here to entertain you or listen to your silly complaints. Get a drink and relax. “I enjoyed my experience at this place. The first time I visited, I just ordered a beer. But I made a special trip back because the chicken wings looked pretty good as the waitress was bringing them by.So when I returned, I gave the wings a try and was very impressed. They were seasoned with a dry lemon pepper rub and I ordered ranch on the side.I also liked the fact that they have 32oz mugs for their draft beer. I felt like a champ drinking out of a glass that size.I also enjoyed the atmosphere of this place as well. It's a very blue collar feel with many tvs to watch sporting events.In the back corner of the bar, there is a spot with darts and other bar games.Overall, I will definitely be back in for some beer and wings when ever back in the neighborhood.“
“This is one place the entire family can agree on—the entire table shares each other’s meal. There’s enough variety for everyone whether we’re going meatless or not; the taste and portions are on point and drinks are plenty, especially non-alcoholic.We had the General Tso cauliflower and wings appetizers and the brussel sprout salad w/ na’an bread, cod fish sandwich and Korean tacos as our entrees. (Probably messed up the names but the pics speak for themselves. We smashed! )“
“Dope spot for a quick date night or just to hang out and have fun. The food choices are decent, and there are a variety of drink options. Staff is friendly but honestly appears to be understaffed, so service times were slightly delayed. Overall, I'll definitely continue to go back, especially during their pop-up events.“

“Cosmic Burrito truck had great food, excellent service and staff who was very attentive to your needs. I had them for my daughters graduation party this Friday and all the guests love the burritos offered. Food was fresh and tasty, the staff including Pablo was very friendly. “I've had the Filet multiple times here and I can't honestly say that it is without a doubt the BEST STEAK I have ever had. The dry age on it creates this amazing bark from the grill and it is ALWAYS seasoned to perfection. I choose Mint29 over any other steakhouse any day of the week.“

Not the restaurant's fault, and it was St. Paddy's day after all...and the place was pretty full. Service was good too.We all had bloody marys - delicious and perfectly spicy and tangy. My Dad had the corned beef special - served with cabbage and potatoes - he said it was great. Mom ordered the soup of the day - buffalo chicken - it came piping hot, which is how we like it! She also had the bucket of shrimp which looked perfect. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which is honestly the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've had in awhile - a huge chicken breast hand-crusted in panko and fried perfectly - crispy on the outside with a yummy flavorful sauce and juicy on the inside. Excellent. Fries are always good. I love that they're here and will definitely return. Service was very fast.“

I called the day before in a panic and the owner called her workers to come in a little early, helped me coordinate everything with food, and just went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. “The food came out fairly quick and was extremely flavorful. We got the lobster in the bag boil and add broccoli with the seasoned garlic butter(mild). I wish the lobster was bigger. It was really small for $24. Next time I’ll add an extra one.Everyone that works there wears crocs and they are really young. They give you a bib and gloves which ours initially had someone’s weave in it. We had to send our silverware back. It’s definitely a great spot to take a large group of people to. “My favorite local place. Food is great and they have awesome daily deals. The staff is friendly and it's always nice to see a team of people who genuinely enjoy running a restaurant together- they've got that at palmer. The daytime bartender Brent has a regular crowd for a reason, the service and conversation at Palmer is above and beyond any eatery nearby it. I've made a lot of friends here and its only been 6 months or so since we moved to Wayne. I try to only go once or twice a week because if I don't put limitations on myself I'll be there everyday!“

My mom and I had come in a few weeks ago and our server (a girl with a braid, we saw her again tonight) was OK but not the best. She seemed uninterested in us/our experience, beverages took a long time to come out (even waters), and we felt ignored throughout the meal. We didn’t need much so this was OK, but it did stick out to us. However, the food was obviously so good that we were drawn back in. We returned tonight and had the best time! The food might’ve even been better than last time (which is a high bar to reach), and our server was quick with beverages, knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed willing to go the extra step for us to be happy. He talked my mom into having a dessert (which was huge but very delicious, we ended up splitting it!). I haven’t seen her so happy from a meal in a long time.
