This is a simple diner. Anyone that's been around knows a simple menu stressing the strengths of the system is a surer indicator of quality then a huge, diverse menu offering the sun, moon and stars. I'm not sure of the story yet but it seems that the sisters working the joint are peddling quite a few little surprises delivered still by their parents. Dad makes the sausage and more I don't know. Let's start by saying I love the Hut. If you're looking for fresh delicious soup from scratch with a variety of options, you're in the right place. The service is great, typical college age young ladies giving service with a smile. Food is good and the people are friendly.... How did they miss a star? Well. I passed The Hut a few months ago & have been wanting to try it. Well, today was the day. I was a little surprised to see the parking lot fairly full on a rainy Friday, but once I went inside, I saw why. Yes, the place is a little worn down, with tape patching the booths.
