“I passed The Hut a few months ago & have been wanting to try it. Well, today was the day. I was a little surprised to see the parking lot fairly full on a rainy Friday, but once I went inside, I saw why. Yes, the place is a little worn down, with tape patching the booths. But I think it's because they are busy and have a lot of customers, so they don't have a lot of time to spend on decor -- although, there are signs and photos scattered throughout the restaurant to look at. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. I've never been there before, but I was treated just as nicely as the numerous regulars who were there. It is apparent that the young women who are the servers truly enjoy their job, their customers and each other -- and I made sure to mention it to them as I left. On to the food. Traditional diner fare, which I love. I got the slider special, expecting 1) just one burger and 2) that it would be small. Nope, these were good sized burgers, and I could only eat one. I chose onion rings (which I almost always prefer to fries -- getting in the veggies, ya know ;) ) and, as others have said, they were REALLY good. I also mentioned THAT to the server, and she said they are hand battered. I left feeling like, well, I'd been given a warm hug on a chilly day. I will be adding The Hut to my rotation of restaurants.“

“Come down to Westland for the first time and the burger co is definitely one of the best burger places I’ve ever had. The nacho cheese burger was delicious and so were the chick-a-rito wrap. 100% recommended when in Westland. Service was 100% my boy working there on Thursday evening was respectful and very kind. “I have not been to an A&W drive up in a while. I was so disappointed not to have a window tray with a frosty mug of root beer. Just the standard cup with a plastic lid and straw. Maybe that is the way it is anymore at the driveups at A&W. Too bad. Tastes the same but not the same, you know.“

“A&W is the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. They always get my order correct, they are very patient and kind, and they make the best double bacon burgers I've ever tasted. They are very fast when it comes to orders even when there are a lot of cars on Tuesdays because of Coney day and they always get my order right. My mom loves their burgers especially their Papa burger which is absolutely amazing and taste as good as it looks.“

“no I do not recommend that place and what goes around comes around I've been working for them for about on and off for about 5 to 7 years I've been trying to get on the payroll every since this new year started so long story short I was on the phone with my mother and the owner and the cook over heard me speaking to my mother about getting on the payroll so when I get older I don't have to wash dishes when I'm 80 years old so I have a little bit of income to pay into the system and pay taxes instead of they want to give me cash money so what goes around comes around I just got to figure out which I just got off the phone with someone and they're about to get audited they got to cook there that gets paid cash and he collects disability“

“The food was fresh and omg the soup was SO GOOD. my husband had the club sandwich and fries. Our friend had 2 2 hot dog meal and 2 med chef salads for work. We also ordered a fish dinner. Everything was good. And the quiet of soup was in a container the soak through for the lid. In my opinion the Soup should be in a plastic container. The service was excellent. And besides the soup container issue the only other problem we had was a order of fries was missing. I could not return to get the fries so they were kind enough to hold onto my receipt and I can come back within 30 days and get my replacement. This was what I wanted to do and they were kind enough to agree with me. Their reaction to the missing portion of my order is the reason I believe the service still deserves 5 full stars.Kid-friendliness: They have a good menu selection for kids. “As soon as I walked up to the window I was greeted with a welcoming smile and hello. I ordered a CEO burger and I highly recommend it. The grilled mushrooms and onions give it such a nice taste. Because it was so good I came back the next day greeted the same kind and nice way. Ordered a Sals fries and the chicken was so good. Everything they serve is presented very nicely, once you get it you just know you’re about to eat one of the best things you’ve ever eaten. “A&W is severely underrated, only fast food place I know that serves either a non processed or very minimally processed chicken tender..Place could use a revamp but doesn't bother me. (Maybe turn the heat up a little, the restaurant was cold) BUT the service in here by far out beats overall all fast food establishments I've been to. Sue to be specific was very helpful and kind when I was having a hard time navigating the menu. I was greeted when I walked through the door and the food came out so hot that I almost burnt my mouth (just kidding lol). Employees like that will continue to bring my business ??????“
