Beautiful and relaxing place! Lots of interesting books!

Went on Easter and hardly any customers in the store. The store is small compared to the Barnes and Noble near me. It has a huge LP section, magazines line one wall and a big kids section. The fiction and nonfiction sections seemed small and I didn’t notice a display of new releases. The baked goods were excellent and the smell of cookies was pleasant. Great tactic to get customers to buy! Staff was extremely friendly. Parking is free. This location is in a strip mall. Based on the travel time and the size of the store I won’t be back. However it was good to visit!

I am very glad there is still a brick and mortar bookstore in my town. I also appreciate the helpful assistance of the knowledgable people who work at Barnes and Noble.

I love a good book store. Barnes and Noble is a large well known book store - and while there are many positives, the Village location on Adams road is not my favorite. There is a coffee shop, but every time I am there - I cannot find seating. My kids and I end up standing awkwardly trying to juggle our coats, purchases, and coffee before leaving. The kids area is tucked away in a corner, but there is no seating and it lacks the appeal of being cozy. If I want to look at a book - I can stand or sit on the floor. My mother can never stay in the store long because she cannot stand for long periods of time - and there is never open seating. The store is very busy - which is great for business. However, the store also lacks personal touch. For example - I am a local author. I have connected with other Barnes and Noble stores to sell my book and attend author signing events. I have e-mailed the Barnes and Noble at the Village many times and never once gotten a response - which I feel is unprofessional. In addition, many books such as the Hilo series is not stocked in this location - but can be found elsewhere, for example the Troy location. I will say the Village Barnes and Noble is well located in the outdoor mall, The Village, which allows you to shop or eat nearby, but it is not my favorite Barnes and Noble store to spend my time in.

I started going to this location after the Rochester Rd location closed. This location can feel a bit congested, especially on weekends. However, it’s nice to see how many people still enjoy shopping at bookstores! Gabrielle was very helpful and checked in the back when they didn’t have a book I was looking for. She offered to order it for me and made suggestions to other books I might like. Great customer service!

Wonderful experience actually going into a book store, the smell of the books is something I haven't experienced in a long time. Great selection and friendly staff

Nothing like going to an actual bookstore for reading materials

Out of all the Barnes and Noble's I've been too, this one is interesting. The selection of books is alright, but the thing that really threw me off was the modern layout with targeted themed displays. This store wasn't as cozy as other ones as it is verrrryyyy busy and chaotic inside. The workers I encountered were very nice and patient.

Absolutely love the modern set up of this Barnes & Noble. Always visit when I am waiting for a table at a near by restaurant.

This is a thriving bookstore with a Starbucks inside - it's great to be in a brick and mortar bookstore that is doing so well.

Not as nice as the store on Rochester road was. Even the store on Hall road is better.

Rude employees. Not welcoming. Definitely not family friendly ?
