“The piedmontese burger was really good. I'm pretty simple on toppings...mayo, ketchup and mustard only. Prepared as requested. Fries and burger served hot. It's a bit chilly inside, but not too bad. Service was quick and friendly. I'd for sure recommend and return. Great pub atmosphere.“

“No food menu other than a soup of the day made by the barmaids mother. Whatever she feels like cooking, the day we visited is split pea, and not a fan of peas, this was loaded with chunks of ham and potatoes. Very stick to your ribs soup. A shot and a beer rounded out the “meal” the bartender was super friendly even had us sign her up”out of towners” book as we were from Alabama. When you search dive bar this is a go too place. “Beautiful odds and ends for the decor inside, I love its rugged look, but it's still very clean. I went on suggestion for the Tuesday night open deck to play a couple of my vinyls. “I just love Suzy's Bar, especially on FAT TUESDAY. This little bar is a staple in the Hamtramck, a neighborhood Dive Bar. If you are able to make it down for this special day, I would say it is a Bucket List Item for things to experience in Metro Detroit. Last year, I was introduced to this CRAZY DAY and we couldn't wait to do it all over again. Be prepared for cramped spaces and a whole lot of friendly people. “Entering the The High Dive is like being transported to the Victorian Era. The cocktail parlor is filled with stained glass, Victorian fixtures and hand crafted wall paper. The owner/bar tender is a world renowned artist who has poured his heart into this establishment and it shows. The cocktails are delicious and they use fresh ingredients. The drinks are also reasonably priced. Most nights The High Dive is supporting local artist and DJ's and has some of the best techno nights. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or checking out one of their events.“
