“Quaint and modern little spot. Can definitely see it livening up during the warmer months. I had a reservation for my husband’s birthday. Aperol for me and a wise and handsome for husband. Both good. We shared the steak tartare and braised beef apps. Both were delicious. Nice just and flavor with the tartare. The whipped feta with beets was smooth and delicious. I got the scallops and risotto. The risotto Nero was interesting. I don’t know if they added cheese but there was almost a smaller gelatin consistency. Scallops were nicely seared. Other main was the tagliatelle with lamb ragú. It had a nice hint of spice and the fresh pasta was evident. Dessert was a VERY rich chocolate ganache-like dessert with small malt balls on top. There was a hint of thyme which was a good contrasting flavor.”

Johnny's
“The atmosphere , the servers (Colin), the cocktails, the food. Food was superb. What an amazing night at Johnny's. And also got to meet and speak with Johnny who is a terrific, authentic person. This place is a gem!”
“The quality of the Italian food was top shelf. My wife had the special, a Branzino, delivered to the table on a cart and it was prepared impeccably. I had the veal parmigiana which was prepared with the bone. The best I have had in the state of Michigan. The waiters visited the table often with drinks/water, etc. but the kitchen was a little slow. A great place to eat for a special dinner as the cost matched the quality of the food.”

Alchemi
“Our dining experience was fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Our waitress, Kelly was amazing. She was kind, energetic, attentive without hovering. The food was outstanding. All the entrées and appetizers were out of this world. We cannot wait to go back! I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant and its staff, the owner and the chef.”

“I really enjoyed the many aquariums, prompt service, and well balanced dishes. The only thing that could have made the experience better is sound absorbing materials in the ceiling.”
“Excellent place to meet friends, especially after a show at the Royal Oak music theater. The food was wonderful, a little overpriced, but we loved the style and the decorating of this classic restaurantI’m only giving it four stars because it took over an hour for our food to arriveOur server, Emily had checked back with us a couple of times to keep us aware of what was going on but a 60 minute wait for meals is excessive.Yes, it was a Saturday night at 8 PM, and we enjoyed the company we were with so we were not too bothered by that— up until the last 15 minutes. That’s when it became frustrating… “where is our food for Pete’s sake?””
“Great sushi but pricy. You pay for the atmosphere which is great. The lounge is nice in the summer with the doors open. The cocktails rotate and are always good. Service is great.”

“Wow. Tbh I was a little skeptical bc good Thai food can be hard to come by these days, but Saab Sis Thai is a keeper:- Generous portions.- Reasonable prices.- Great balance of flavors (Just a reminder that Thai medium can be quite spicy haha). In particular, the grilled tilapia was great! (Pro tip: kindly ask for a reheat and they will refry the other side so both sides are crispy.) The balance between the fish and the sauce was ?.The papaya salad Laos style with the crab was a great accompaniment to the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai entrees we ordered. The service and vibe was also on point. Keep in mind the place isn’t that big, so if you’re coming with a party of 4+ you might want to call ahead.Looking forward to coming back again!Edit: Came back again to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t haha. The pad see ew might be the best I’ve ever had. I found that “mild +” is the right spice level for me. The papaya salad + fried tilapia is the perfect combo for a flavor bomb with a cacophony of textures. We will be back again!”
“Wow! Staying at a hotel a couple of bocks away so we decided to try it here for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! Marvin was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! Order a pomegranate blueberry mule, and you will thank me!Parking: There is a large paid lot right across the street that is really inexpensive (75 cents an hour)”
“As a Thai American, I don’t usually eat at Thai restaurants in Michigan because many places don’t make authentic Thai food. I now have a place I can order all of my favorite Thai dishes, and all of the flavors are on point. The fried rice and pad Thai taste just like they do in Bangkok, and pad khing tastes like how my mom would cook it for me. They truly care about good food here, and I will be going back soon!”
“It was my first time at Atomic Coffee and I loved it !!! The staff is very nice and the lattes, and food are very good. I also loved the atmosphere in the place. I would come again !!”
“Love the atmosphere and positive energy at this restaurant! As you can tell the drinks are great. Mines almost gone. Joel and Molly were so kind and wonderful during the time we were here ❤️”
“Loved every part of it!! Customer service was fantastic -- Jordan was so professional, friendly, and helpful. Ice cream was delicious with so much variety. Lots of vegan options. The regular size is really big -- definitely big enough to share. We'll definitely be back!”
“ordered from door dash a couple of times and this will be my last. every time, there is something wrong with the order. today, half of the order was missing and packing was so careless that the driver showed up with a container full of food spilled in the bag. As for the food, it has never been great, just okay.”
“Best Detroit Style pizza I've ever had, their Gelato is phenomenal, and the service is top notch! When I visited family, I always try to hit up Palazzo Di Pizza.”

“We've ordered from here many times and this was the first time we dined in. Had a great experience. Staff was super friendly. The butter chicken is the best. Definitely recommend!”
“Took a whole group of students there today. One girl alone, but cheerful and helpful and served everyone with a smile. Clean, old-style ice cream parlor. Would definitely recommend!”

Sake Sushi
“Maybe I was just super hungry, but that Hawaiian roll may have been the best sushi I’ve eaten, and that kimchi rice?!?! To die for!! Plus, the service was outstanding. We’ll be back.”
“The crab cakes were amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. You get awesome bread with your lunch. Parking was easy. It is a nice place for business lunch or dinner.”
“Visited on a trip recently- had a good time! Food was delicious, had the Buda bowl and some cosmik fries and the beer selection was excellent. Would go back again!”

“Been coming to pronto for years and have seen it change management a few times. This is the best it has ever been! The music is better, the food is delicious (try the Chicken Alfredo), the events are unmatched, and the staff makes you feel like you're a part of the experience rather than just another patron. I highly recommend checking it out if you're new to the scene or have been in the scene for a while and want to spice things up! There is something for everyone to enjoy!”

“The place is cool and dark and good for a date. The music was good and the food and menu was so good. They had tofu too! The server was nice. Definitely going back!!Vegetarian options: Burrito, quesadilla, etc”
“BahDah is easily my favorite sushi spot in the area. You simply cannot beat the value you get for this food. The lunch teriyaki bento box is a steal and my favorite thing on the menu. When ordering carry out my order has always been correct and the staff in store is super sweet. If you'd like to dine in there are some tables to do so. Highly recommend coming here if you're looking for some delicious sushi at a fair price point.”
“We had a large group and the service was great. They accommodated us when we were in a pinch to find a location. The atmosphere is awesome and the food was delicious. It was an entire experience.Vegetarian options: There were options to choose for the vegetarians in our group. They enjoyed their food.”
“I am extremely I’m telling you extremely picky about spring rolls. I will not eat it if it’s not crunchy and taste fresh. I tried it and just like a wine kind of sewer after about 30 seconds I knew that I had magic. Please enjoy everyone!”
“Had another great night out at Edo! Fantastic service every time! Brandy was our waitress this time and she was VERY attentive, helpful, kind, and gave us stellar service! I hope you treat your staff well! They are all amazing! Food is always good, consistent, and large portions! Will be back for the service alone but the food is a huge plus!”
“Great food and gluten free menu including beers. Many NA choices of beer also. Waitstaff very friendly! Delicious corned beef and delish cabbage for St. Patrick’s day -they should add to the regular menu.”
“My server informed me at the very end of my meal that the restaurant has lied to customers for over a year about having gluten free carrot cake and they have just been feeding people with intolerances gluten containing cake. So disrespectful. I got glutened after I spent $200 on my meal and was assured I had chosen gluten free dishes and precautions were being taken. Like look, I get it. Food allergies are a pain in the *ss but if you can't accommodate people with them don't lie to your customers. There are lots of other places in the metro area who do take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Way to ruin my birthday. Im going to be sick for a whole week because I have Celiac Disease. Thanks a ton.”
“Stumbled on this amazing place after an exhilarating/ exhausting day at the Detroit Zoo - 10-year-old went from a threatening and hangry critically maniacal kiddo to saying THIS IS THE BEST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO! Superior flavors, very fresh, and Turkish coffee at just the right time.”
“HEY HONEY HAND ME THE SAUCE!! ??Lockharts was a place of hardship. A hardship of eating so many delicious THINGS. I was there for a celebratory event and so my mouth had the chance to meet mac & cheese, chicken, cow: cooked deliciously. The venue had a vibe like no other bbq place I had ever been to. I couldn’t be stopped, nor would I have wanted to. This place does nothing to tear itself apart. Excited for you to go. THANK YOU DETROIT!!Parking: Paid parking around. Not too shabby.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids!”
“Nice spot to grab a quick bite if you're in the Royal Oak, MI area. We came after seeing a show at the Royal Oak Theater and it was a good choice. They offer numerous different wood fired pizzas made fresh in front of you in their open kitchen. If pizza isn't your thing there are also many different pasta dishes and small plates available. The atmosphere is casual, and gives you a small Italian pizza shop feel. They also have a small parking lot behind the building to save you from paying to park.”

Mt Chalet II
“We so love Mt Chalet! Came in at 630 on a Friday night requesting a table for 10!! The manager totally made it happen! Great atmosphere, great food and great service!”
“Everything for the most part was pretty good. The only thing was that the waiter had to repeat the order a few times to get it right. We had a larger group and because there was 2 cooks, there was 2 servers. That was different, but otherwise not a bad experience.”
Takeout Restaurants
“I ordered for the first time Wednesday, 1-10-24, from the new Waterford location. I got the lamb korma, some Naan, raita, and a mango Lassi (carryout). It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!”
“This is a bakery everyone kneads in their life :) pun intended. I already love crispellis for their pizzas and salads and finally ventured to this stand alone location bakery located on the less busy stretch of Main Street. The cafe has an amazing aesthetic and a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. It was cool to see bread being rolled and hand made thru the window, it is clear that bread is being made fresh and daily and this bakery has that artisan feel to it. There is a great variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and drinks that this location offers. I tried a carrot cake croissant and it was unique and very tasty! The only con I noticed is the trash was overflowing when I visited but I think I was there towards the end of the day. Anyways a great place to chill and enjoy a good pastry and drink in RO!”
“Delicious foodKid-friendliness: They provide crayons and coloring sheet for small childernWheelchair accessibility: It’s only one floor lot stairs or gaps anywhere”
“I had been going to Birmingham Roast for years before Royal Oak Roast opened, and it is just as amazing as the original. Drinks are incredible (though the “Joy” drinks are pretty sweet, I always order half sweet), the breakfast burrito is a must try, as is the açaí bowl. They constantly have new “seasonal” menu items which is great for regulars to get something new to try. This will forever be my favorite coffee shop in the metro Detroit area!!”
“we tried you for the first time tonight at Arts Beats and Eats. was so good! refreshing, flavors were amazing and crunch of toppings were perfect pair. Will visit you again soon and bring the kids!”
“All I can say is WOW!! What an absolute gem in downtown Royal Oak. The service was exceptional and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Amber, who is an absolute sweetheart. The cinnamon bun smoothie, and the soup that I ordered were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be a repeating customer after this amazing first visit.”
“I had not been to a Beefcarver since I was a kid to the location on 8 mile. Stopped in today to the Woodward location. Food was good, the atmosphere is very nostalgic (I loved it), and the staff was amazing. The gentleman waiting on us was very friendly and very on top of things! We will be back.”
“Let me start off: KAL's lived up to the hype. I've always been curious driving by but I was especially curious after I saw all the glowing reviews.I got a beef shawarma bowl with all my favorite fixings and was left thoroughly satisfied and happy. They were super friendly and, since we were sitting right by the window, they checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy.I'll be coming back here as often as I can.Wheelchair accessibility: Same level from the street/parking lot all the way to the order window. Automatic doors on the entrances to the Farmer's Market building.”
“I have ordered from here tons of times and the food is great, but last night I was unpleasantly surprised to find a piece of metal in my food. Can you please help me identify where it came from? I had to pull it from my teeth and it scratched my gums.”
“I really enjoyed the many aquariums, prompt service, and well balanced dishes. The only thing that could have made the experience better is sound absorbing materials in the ceiling.”
“Great sushi but pricy. You pay for the atmosphere which is great. The lounge is nice in the summer with the doors open. The cocktails rotate and are always good. Service is great.”
“Absolutely best ice cream in town! Such a cute hole in the wall place and they use gurnseys ice cream which is just incredible tasting, they have shakes and parfaits and and Sundays and floats! Would highly recommend!”
“I hope you're hungry! This place provides a lot of food for your buck. I had the make your own wok bowl option, which provides a protein, rice or noodle, sauce, and 3 vegetables. Wow! My husband ordered the teriyaki bowl option with the same add-on options. We also ordered some Rangoon and miso soup. All for 30 bucks. You can't beat this place if you want fresh food for a great price. Quick customer service and a clean environment all around.”
“My experiences have always been consistently good. The corned beef sandwich is delicious, and I've never had a bad one. I'm eager to try their breakfast sandwich.”
“Shawn was very helpful he is a talented chef I believe cause if you can make food like homemade you should be a good cook they have a rich story and a classic dine in or take away I’m in love with Classic decor very good hummus and baba ”
“Food was awesome we ended up ordering extra to go- our server Sergio was great he had wonderful customer service, gave us GREAT recommendations and was an overall good ”
“Fresh food, friendly people. Some of the best rice bowls in town! The price is reasonable and the ingredients are high quality. Will definitely be coming back more often!!!”
“We had a large group and the service was great. They accommodated us when we were in a pinch to find a location. The atmosphere is awesome and the food was delicious. It was an entire experience.Vegetarian options: There were options to choose for the vegetarians in our group. They enjoyed their food.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“The coneys here were soooo good. Loved the snap of the hot dogs. Much preferred just the regular coney in comparison to the "special". The fries were top tier. Service could have been more ”
“THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO COOL, CZUSE ITS COOL INSIDE, LOL BUT REALY GREAT PEOPLE, AND THE MENU IS SUPER. THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE TO GIVE US SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT, DRINK,”
“It's McDonald's - so you know you're not getting gourmet.. But when you have kids and you're in a time crunch (CONSTANTLY! Lol!) sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! What makes me want to review this location publicly is the service.. I'm very impressed when I feel like the employees actually CARE and put in an effort to be friendly and helpful - and this location is tops to me for this reason. I've been here more times than I'd like to admit (my "healthy eating" rule goes out the window and my kids love it!) but I've never had a bad experience here! The employees are*consistently* friendly and *always* smile and our order is almost always 100% correct! So thank you to the management for treating your employees well so that they can treat your customers well!”
“Tubby's Mushroom, steak and cheese sub sandwiches have been a family favorite as long as I can remember. The drive-thru experience at this location has been very good. I do not know whether there is sit down dining inside the restaurant.Parking: I think this location may be drive-thru only.”
“It was pretty slow when I walked into this location of Panda Express and I got greeted fairly quickly. Everything on the table looked pretty fresh and they were making new food as I got there.I got my usual order, which was a plate with fried rice, sweet fire chicken, and black pepper angus steak (does have an up-charge but is worth it). The portions weren't as big as I was used to but the food was still really good. The steak entree was also mostly vegetables, but it was still good. The sweet fire chicken is always amazing. The juicy pineapples really add to the flavor. The rice was fluffy and delicious.I tried the apple pie roll for the first time today. That was pretty good. The outside was crisp and sugary, and the inside was soft and warm. Would obviously be better with fresh apples, but for a fast food place, I was pleasantly surprised.Overall a great experience. Will be back again!”
“Excellent customer service. They prepare the food so well and are always there to answer questions. They even stayed open a little late to allow me to order some ice cream! Highly recommend them.”
“Ok, so.. Theres a Burger King Less Than a Mile from me. 13/Southfield. I dont go there any more. Honestly There's really no good reason TO go there, and I am Surprised that ANYONE does. From the asteroid sized craters in the parking lot, to the unpleasant dispositions of EVERYONE I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with at the time... I have found it more enjoyable to go.... well anywhere else, actually. Then I remember THIS Location isnt far, may as well try this place out... havent been in a while (mainly because i keep forgetting it is here). What I have found here is the POLAR OPPOSITE of my experience with "The Pit of Dispair" at 13/Southfield. Not only was the staff Friendly **GASP** But ALSO attentative and helpful. **FAINTS**. Seriously.. "Attentative and Helpful"??? Where does THAT come from?? Certainly not from the PoD, for SURE! Thank You, BK, For having THIS Location available, as I DOOOOO Love me some BK Breakfast (Now if we could just do breakfast all day........) I Will Certainly Be Coming Back!”
“Was involved in a hit and run in the parking lot here. I want to shout out William as he came out at about 10:45pm and got on the phone with the area manager and was able to pull footage for the police. The young man deserves a raise or at the very least some recognition for going above and beyond. Terrance and Diamond were also working and were very understanding and sympathetic. After dealing with everything for nearly an hour, they let me come in and order my food and took care of it for me.Everything that was done wasn't required or expected and I strongly believe in this day and age most people wouldn't have bothered. At the very least, here's a solid review and hopefully someone helps you all down the road in a moment of need. Much appreciated and thank you for turning a bad situation into an easier one. Good luck to you all!”
“I always get the Honey Sesame Chicken with fried rice and super greens. The chicken is always great. The fried rice is good and the super greens have a delicious flavor. My only complaint is they don't always put soy sauce in the bag when I do delivery.”
“Been here a couple times and every time, the drive thru experience was excellent. Friendly, food was hot and fresh, people are great! Keep up the great work Burger King!”
“Everyone who worked here When I went today Was super nice! It's the Day After Christmas and no one had any sort of attitude and they were really sweet. Great food as always!”
“Friendly, helpful, cust. service oriented staff at this location. Can't remember the last pleasant experience I had placing an order in a drive thru until visiting here!Food was great, 10/10.Thank you!”
“Customer service is awesome at this restaurant. We, two families, went there from Canada and were not much familiar with Dunkin' Donuts menu. But the customer service representatives helped us a lot. Food was excellent for our breakfast.”
“Another "first time in".I truly appreciate the listing of calories along with the ingredients for the various items. Makes keeping track of the intake so much easier.Had a skinny (small) chicken Mediterranean toasted on multigrain bread. The bread has some actual flavor of its own - unlike Subway - and went well with the tasty bits ensconced within. The young women working were in a good mood and very friendly. Order placed quickly and delivered the same. The music, once it got turned on, was a bit loud. Probably due to the people working in a noisier spot.I like a good sandwich place and, at first taste, this seems like one I'll return to even if it is a chain.Dietary restrictions: Calories and ingredients are listedParking: It's a strip mall, there's plentyKid-friendliness: Plenty if choices for the wee ones.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room, floor is concrete, doors are wide.”
“Super fast service. They just aren’t open at 5am as listed. I’ve tried to drop by there before 6am 3 different times and the drive thru tells me they are currently closed.”
“Visiting from Pittsburgh, PA - I stopped here on Sunday for the first time. Luke was very pleasant and accommodating. The tastings were awesome. I didn't have a chance to sample any of their food but I definitely plan to come back again.”
Cheap Eats
“Came for a Dr's appt. Stayed around longer for the food. Magnificent place. Wonderful interior food was amazing. Tea was delightful. The server was so very kind and gracious. I'll be back. I'll be back.”
“Unique set up with self serve taps. I really enjoyed being able to try different brews. Nice chill atmosphere. Employees were great. I didnt try the pizza but will for sure be back.”
“Never disappointed when visiting my favorite tearoom, The Fern. The owner, Theresa, is a kind, caring host who takes her time to match guests to the perfect tea. Whether you’re looking for hot or cold tea, The Fern has one that’s bound to make your tastebuds dance! Additionally, the place is cozy and relaxing, which makes it the perfect place to read a book, complete a puzzle, or chat with a friend.”
“I’ve been coming to Marilyn’s at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market every Saturday for the last three years. Everyone has taken the time to learn my name, my order, and my family. The weekend before Christmas I came to get a smoothie and they said “hey Trevor!” and pulled a stack of cards from under the register that were hand written cards to all of their best customers. I was so surprised and it meant so much to me that they 1. Know who I am and 2. Appreciate me as a customer. I love Marilyn’s!”
“Great atmosphere, very neighborhood friendly people. Bartender Natalie is a Gem ?, she's a fantastic bartender with a great personality. I will be coming back to hangout with more friends.”
“Stellar sliders, solid shakes, and chill atmosphereI ordered a double-cheeseburger slider and vanilla shake. The Slider: the bun is not cakey but rather a soft sponge-type bread that absorbs the juice of the burger well. This leaves a great meat-to-bun ratio, and the cheese melt is glorious, covering every part of the patty. I witnessed the maestro on the grill as he made my sliders, and he used the tried and true "pinch and pull" method of lifting the patty off the grill. I then saw him scrap the melted cheese on the grill and add it to the burger. It was a marvelous process to witness and a magical taste to experience. The sliders were hot, cheezy, and accompanied by caramelized onions and a touch of ketchup added for some sweetness. I was highly impressed by the double-cheeseburger sliders I ordered, so much so that I ate 5 in total. The Shake: It was creamy and delicious, and it was just right in that Goldilocks zone of not being too thick and not too milky.I ate lunch on a Sunday, and there were only a few other diners, so it was a very calm and chill environment to enjoy my food in. The service was prompt and respectful. I was not waiting long either for my order to be taken or delivered.Parking: Plenty of paid parking on Main Street but there are parking garages nearby that are free for the first 2 hours. I parked a 5 min walk away in the neighborhoods so I could park for free and enjoy the nice weather on my walk.”
“The bird and berry (turkey, cranberry brie spread, and organic greens on baguette) earns a solid 7 out of 10. The sandwich boasted a delightful mix of flavors and textures, though a bit more cranberry would have elevated it further. Nonetheless, the staff's kindness added to the dining experience, and the excellent quality of the coffee complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, a satisfying choice for a quick bite.”
“Le Crepe is always amazing! The staff are attentive and the crepes are fresh every time. They’re stuffed with tasty goodness and will have you wanting more; I haven’t ever had a crepe that I didn’t like from here. It’s far from where I live, but it’s worth the drive to support a small business!”
“Happy to have such a place like this so close to home. Great food on a menu with enough choices to make everyone happy. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel right at home. From the food always turning out great to the cute girl ringing me up with a smile there isn't anything I would change. I stop in daily to get dinner for my moms home care patient. Since the first time ordering a dinner for him there we've never wanted to go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend you try it.”
“I love the rolled ice cream at this place, it's very delicious and is made super quickly. The prices are also super fair. My only complaint is that the chairs at the tables are way too small and uncomfortable unless you're really quite skinny.”
“My husband had been wanting ramen so we decided to try this place for his birthday lunch. So delicious. The waiter, Andre, was seriously the best. He was so kind to our son. When we left our son said that he had so much fun there. He’s also the pickiest eater and he even said it was very good. I would defiantly go again just from the friendliness of the staff alone. 10/10”
“The guy that take the orders is always great . His personality is amazing ! The guy that cooks with the head wrap on always has an attitude . He seems like he hate his job . Food is good and location is ”
“Exceptional first order! I decided not to park so I rode my bike 2 miles for a veggie plate and a kabob. I barely had room in my very large backpack! Food was insanely good. We moved here 2 years ago and haven’t found a go-to place, but I think this I now it!!!! 5 out of 5 I’m a food snob and this place is LEGIT”
“Still the best around! I tried to stay away but everything here is just so good- frozen latte today! So rich that I really don't want to know what's in there, lol And somehow everyone that works here is always the nicest- been that way for years”
“My fiance and I were visiting from NE Ohio for the day and stopped by!I called prior about their vegan options and how they prepare vegan sandwiches. I also asked about allergens such as peanuts, legumes, pea protein, etc. My fiance and I were impressed how careful they are with vegan sandwich preparation and cross-contamination. They handle everything separately and are very careful. My fiance has many food allergies, so we have to be careful! We also can’t eat out a lot because of this as well, so this was a treat for us. I was told on the phone since they serve vegan food “they have to do it right.”It was a first for both of us to eat vegan deli meat, and as a meat eater myself, I was impressed! If anyone is looking for vegan, allergen-conscious, and delicious sandwiches, this is the place to go. We will definitely be coming back when we visit the area❤️❤️❤️”
“The food is so delicious, the staff and especially the owner sudha is so lovely and down to earth, great environment and best hospitality. Definitely recommended.”
“When the tabouli is on its game. it's great. But. sadly, the consistency and quality are often not there. Little flavor. Might as well grab a bunch of wet parsley and eat that”
“HEY HONEY HAND ME THE SAUCE!!
“I have been going to Olga's for more than 20 years in downtown Birmingham, Troy at Oakland Mall, and now usually in Royal Oak. For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!”
“The food is very good and so is the service. I don’t drink and was only charged $2 for a soda. My pasta dish that came with eggplant (Rigatoni alla Norma) should have had more than two small, thin slices on top. Eggplant is one of the cheapest vegetables out there - no reason to skimp on that !”
“Best dining experience in Royal Oak! From steaks to tacos, you can’t go wrong. Top notch service and mixology! I’ve been enjoying their ambience and live music for over a decade. If you haven’t been there. You’re missing out.”
“Papa Joes is well organized and well established catering resource and is generally quite delicious! The platters are works of art. The one item we have found not to be to our liking is anything with grilled chicken. It just has an odd, artificial smoke taste. We've tried it in 2 different dishes and it is consistently off tasting. The servers are professional, efficient and helpful. The set up crew is timely, but really didn't do much beyond drop off other than provide greenery for us to garnish the buffet ourselves. Communication for scheduling can be a challenge, but worth the effort. Overall, they do a very good job!”
“I got too much lol. Shared the Salt Life Sampler, everything was good but I wish the Rockefeller oysters had a little butter on top. Tried the Baja fish tacos 7/10 the dynamite shrimp tacos 9/10. Had the smoked salmon blt for my entree 8.5/10 and had a bite of the white cheddar burger but not enough to rate it. It was good. Those fries!!! I’ll be dreaming about those fries. The mango margarita was a little weak, but the love potion was so good; it was giving 2 or more and someone could produce a love child! Overall 9/10, I just wish the tables were bigger. Thanks for our waiter, Shawn.”
“Stopped here for lunch on Friday, the servings are massive. I ordered a small sandwich and could barely eat half of it. I wish there was a bit more sauce or condiments on the sandwich. Sandwich's are a bit pricy however It is worth the price with the size of the sandwich. It was ready quickly after we ordered. There was not a line when we went at 11:30AM.”

“Shout out to Joe at Panera at Woodward Corner! My wife and I unexpectedly had to go to the hospital so my wife could be induced and he totally calmed me down as I was getting our last meal before the birth of our first child. Thanks Joe!”
“place was packed on Friday night and the line moves fast and well worth the wait..6 car loads of us pulled in and we'll definitely be back..best custard around”
“This place has been our favorite for years. The soups are amazing— both are. Whenever my brother is in town, he goes through quarts of the chicken lemon rice. The pita is grilled there and delicious. My favorite is the tomato lentil (vegan too). Highly recommend!”
“We had a large group and the service was great. They accommodated us when we were in a pinch to find a location. The atmosphere is awesome and the food was delicious. It was an entire experience.Vegetarian options: There were options to choose for the vegetarians in our group. They enjoyed their food.”
“Wow! This spot is a fantastic breakfast place! I came in on a Friday morning to meet a friend for breakfast. We both ordered omelettes, hash browns (crispy), toast and coffee and everything was truly delicious. The omelette was impressive. The cheese was so nicely melted and it was very hot and fresh. I enjoyed every single bite of it. I had the custom and I can definitely recommend. Our waitress was prompt, friendly and regularly checked in on us. She kept our coffees hot and fresh. I definitely would recommend stopping in. I'm looking forward to trying more on the menu!”

“One of my favorite spots around the way for a quick bite. Menu and vibe is Mexican-American. They've got the good green Juice plus Horchata and Jamaica. The chilaquilles and the fresh salsas are my favorite things on the menu.”
“10/10 restaurant! TLDR: Big portions, request Scott as your server, and have the burger! Our server tonight (Scott) was amazing. My mom and I had come in a few weeks ago and our server (a girl with a braid, we saw her again tonight) was OK but not the best. She seemed uninterested in us/our experience, beverages took a long time to come out (even waters), and we felt ignored throughout the meal. We didn’t need much so this was OK, but it did stick out to us. However, the food was obviously so good that we were drawn back in. We returned tonight and had the best time! The food might’ve even been better than last time (which is a high bar to reach), and our server was quick with beverages, knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed willing to go the extra step for us to be happy. He talked my mom into having a dessert (which was huge but very delicious, we ended up splitting it!). I haven’t seen her so happy from a meal in a long time. We absolutely will be returning with no hesitations and we will request Scott if he’s working and has room for us! P.S. The host is also very accommodating, we have bad backs so the booths don’t work well for us and she happily placed us at a table with no issues.”
“First time here. Our server Ashley was great! She took us through their menus and gave some recommendations. The Drunk on the beach slushie was amazing! Mexican street corn and queso total thumbs up. Sadly, the main dishes were so disappointing. I ordered the Birria Taco meal, and yes I'm aware of deep fried but the amount of grease quite literally choked me out. My girlfriends taco which were just regular tacos were the same. So much grease it was inedible! The only thing that would bring me back would be the great service and a few appetizers! Whatever they do, keep your server Ashley she was the best thing about our happy hour and maybe replace your chef!”
“I wish I could give half stars. I'd give it a 3.5. Is it the worst? No. Is it the best? No. It's cheap food, open late, and it's saved my life on a few too many late nights. The staff is always super friendly and pleasant to deal with as well.”
“Love the atmosphere and positive energy at this restaurant! As you can tell the drinks are great. Mines almost gone. Joel and Molly were so kind and wonderful during the time we were here ❤️”
“We've ordered from here many times and this was the first time we dined in. Had a great experience. Staff was super friendly. The butter chicken is the best. Definitely recommend!”
“Other than one very rude employee who I'll call the garbage police (she interrupted me while I was placing my order with another employee to tell me to walk to the other side of the restaurant to throw my sample cup in the garbage) my experiences here have been mostly positive. The food is fresh and most of the employees are friendly and helpful.”
“Been here a couple of times. Place is usually busy so expect a wait. I’ve eaten each of their Skillet Hash options, Market and Farmhouse, and both are good. Overall a nice place to eat breakfast.”
“I saw the advertisement from a previous late night game show where the contestants were rewarded a gift certificate from Crumbl Cookies and there cookies looked so delicious it made me want to try them out. When I received my order the cookies looked just as they were advertised. One of the ones I ordered was there Carrot Cake , it was a mini Carrot cake enough for 2 people. It was delicious. The others were good also, but the Carrot cake was the best.”
“Atmosphere is impeccable, service is excellent, so kind and accommodating to EVERYONE. But let’s just talk about the food and drinks, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Great place for a fun casual night or a fancy birthday night. Can never go wrong at pinky’s!!”
“The place is cool and dark and good for a date. The music was good and the food and menu was so good. They had tofu too! The server was nice. Definitely going back!!Vegetarian options: Burrito, quesadilla, etc”
