“I absolutely love this place and have been going there for years. I was in there yesterday and noticed that they were selling their salsa in jars. I bought a hot one, that is my favorite. It goes great with some locally made tortilla chips. I will definitely be back soon for another jar of salsa and a burrito.“

“My wife and i went in today and had lunch. We have been there many times and can’t get enough. As a chef and foodie myself i am always impressed with their offerings. We actually drove 7 hours (from Des Moines Iowa) to eat here. I don’t see what these 1 and 2 star people are talking about. Definitely a must try, support local and Eat local.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos, curry vegetables tacos and seasonal vegan burrito is my wife’s favorite and they have falafel tacos ???“

“It's a small, authentic Mexican Taco shop. Nothing fancy, good prices, great tacos!!Basic and friendly service. If atmosphere is your thing, this may not be your place, but if quality Mexican food is your goal, this should be your go to!!Parking: Only about 9-10 spots near restaurant.“

“What a great place to eat! There are always great options for various styles of food and fare. The staff are always well prepared and friendly. It's nice to see a locally-owned and operated business that is well-supported and does such a wonderful job. Keep up the great job and we can't wait to go back!“

“We were looking for takeout food on a Sunday, we decided to check this place out based on a friend recommendation. We showed up anticipating placing a takeout order, assuming a short wait, and it definitely was that. The neighborhood was a little bit iffy, with bars on the windows of the building, and there was really no parking lot, so street parking only. It's very small inside with an order/pickup Window and no seating. There's a big menu on the wall with pictures, and paper menus to read and/or take with you. The lady working was very very helpful with recommendations, explaining dishes, and helping us to decide what to order. Fantastic customer service. The food came out EXTREMELY fast. I actually couldn't believe it was already our order. We got an array of items and everything was pretty good. We got the Panchita, which was like loaded nachos, and it was good, but being takeout, it was soggy by the time we ate it. The spicy tamales were good but dry, and I would probably try those again. They were sold out of mild, which makes me assume they are popular. And the green salsa on those was delicious! The wet burrito was VERY good, I'd recommend that.Parking: Street parking only“

“There food is always amazing! Never have I had a bad meal. Truly authentic Mexican! There is several generations of the same family that work here! I ?% recommend them if your looking for amazing Mexican food! Only down side is they don't offer dine-in. Totally worth it tho!!!“

“The food was awesome! Our server was very nice; however, we did end up waiting quite a while to pay the tab. In her defense, though, she seemed to be the only one working in that section. And she did have a big group as well. (Won't deter us from going back, though!)“

“Partner and I love Don Luis and visit at least once a quarter. The restaurant is open "late" compared to the rest of Grand Haven, which is so nice as we typically eat later evening. I appreciate not feeling like we're bothering the staff and keeping them. Service: Always top notch. They are efficient with serving the food, refilling drinks, and bring chips and salsa nearly as soon as you sit down. Food: I've tried quite a few things here and loved it all. The food I got most recently was a type of taco that you dip. The flavor was beyond amazing, though it definitely had a little kick to it. (I do not do spicy food, but the server said it wasn't spicy. If you're like me, it is a bit spicy). Ambiance: They have fun booths and decorations around the restaurant and always have upbeat Mexican music playing. It's usually somewhat busy, but as we go during off hours, never too full. And, we've never had to wait to be seated, which we really like.“

“Was in need of a quick lunch passing through the area, saw Mexican cuisine and parked in their lot and checked out menu. Went inside and ordered out 3 shrimp enchiladas with a side of chips and salsa. Very delicious cheese sauce and the shrimp were supple and fresh tastingly delicious!“

“This is the best tacos anywhere in West Michigan. It is a taco truck that is attached to a grocery store. You go inside the grocery store, place your order and then you go outside to the truck to get your items. They are fresh, inexpensive, decent portions and always consistently taste the same.“

“We had Lupitas cater our wedding in September. If you are considering Lupitas for your wedding we 100% recommended! She is accommodating and overall AMAZING. People raved about how much they loved the dinner at our wedding, it was said that it’s was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We choose chips and dips for cocktail hour with tacos and street corn for dinner. We loved that she was able to serve our guests out of the food truck. It was an amazing experience. Thank you so much for having a huge part of making our day amazing!!“

“Fast service. The Salsa is so fresh and delicious paired with warm** chips! I got a frozen house margarita that was very smoothly blended and delicious. Even the side dishes of beans and rice were perfectly seasoned and cooked. My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in West MI!!“

“Best Taco Bell I've been to in a while. Inside was clean and the staff were friendly. Food was made quickly. I was there on a late Sunday afternoon so had the dining room to myself. Located right on the main street through GH so very convenient when passing through.“

“I ordered the 3 Enchiladas plate with beans and rice. Absolutely delicious, fresh tasting and seasoned to perfection. Not to mention I'm a cheese lover and it's bursting with melted cheese. You will not be disappointed with this meal ??“

“Food was great as always. The service review was based on the speed of the food coming out. There were a number of tables that waited an hour plus for their meals. The friendly staff seemed to not be around to even refill drinks while we all waited. Once you are waiting for food and not drinking, the atmosphere tends to decline. Frustration was in the air. Though we love the food at this place, the speed of service declined in the past year.“

“Four of us went here. My carne guisada burrito was very greasy. The others said their food was ok but not great. No carne asada or fajitas. Our waitress was great. We really appreciated her. Decor plain but does the trick. Nothing fancy. Will not return.“
