“Simply the best Mexican food around the greater Grand Rapids area. The food is awesome. The food is full of flavor and well-balanced. Portions are great for the prices. The atmosphere is simple with tasteful homespun decor. The people that run Maggie's Kitchen are nice and friendly. It's our favorite place for Mexican food, plus they have a breakfast menu.“
“Food was amazing, but cold by the time it got to us. Service was fast and they were able to get through a sizable line rather quickly. The price of the food was quite reasonable though! We ate right at the picnic tables outside and do not recommend as there was a bee that was really after our entire meal.“
“This is a perfect example of a local gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing and at an amazing price. The workers are personable while still quickly serving up a ton of different orders at rush times. My go-to here is the taco meat burrito. I could get a gallon of their house made hot sauce and still not have it be enough. It's amazing.Taco Boy is THE stop if you want cheap, fast, and delicious comfort food with a TexMex twist.Parking: There's a decent amount of parking for the restaurant size, but it can get packed during rushes.“
“$10 taco deal gets you 3 tacos with rice and beans. Great portion and it tasted decent. Generous portion of grilled onions included. I found the beans too liquidy and their salsa bitter. If they upped their salsa game, that'd make a huge difference. Closed Sundays.“
“The lady at the counter was very sweet. She explained everything in great detail and made us feel like we were eating at a friend's house. The food was amazing. I had three different tacos (suadero, carnitas and asada) rice and beans. Everything was hot and fresh. The salsas were all very tasty. Watch out for the veggies on the counter, they are not for the weak! Lol.“
“A guy Named Anthony Was Very Kind and Added extra meat to my bowl. " On the House He Said" The Young Man Made my day with his kindness to customers. Food Was Good But the Horchata was not the best . Would recommend eating here But not getting the Horchata.“
“We ordered caldo de camarón, al pastor tacos, steak tacos, and quesabirria tacos. Everything was super flavorful! Salsa’s had the perfect spicy kick. Our order was packed with extra limes, cilantro, onions, and tortillas. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for take out!“
“I love El Granjero. Living in Michigan now, this is the closest I have been able to get to my favorite Mexican restaurant where I lived in Texas. It is the only mexican restaurant I go to in GR now.Parking: There are roughly 15 available parking spots here. I have never had an issue being able to park during both lunch and dinner hours.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the door and open tables that will accommodate wheelchairs, but there are two doors to enter that are not automated.“
“I can’t say anything bad about a place with tasty margaritas and tasty tacos. There can be a little bit of a wait sometimes, but that’s to be expected when the food is good. You can also order your food to go. They have a nice outdoor section in the summer and have heated igloos out there during the “
“El Agave has become one of our favorites! We enjoyed take out once a week throughout the pandemic and now both eat in and take out. Our favorite is the Your Choice burrito which we get in chicken or beef and comes with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, sauce, rice and beans on the outside. You can order when you're already in the car and on your way and it's ready when you get there.“
“Wow! I had a great time at Beltline Bar today. Food was delicious, nice strong margaritas and overall a great environment. Our server Griffin was phenomenal! Knowledgeable, great energy and helped us make the best selections. Will be back soon!“
“This place was incredible!! Came to Holland, MI from Chicago for a weekend retreat and found this place online. The tacos drew us here, but we were not prepared for how amazing the food actually was!! Followed the owners recs and had the beef and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were especially good! Friend who ordered the broth bowl said it was top notch! We plan to add this spot to our yearly retreat!Keep it up!!“
“I loved this place! I had the carne asada a la tampiquena 1939 and it was delicious! The steak was very tender and flavorful. Everything on the plate was delicious. I had the Oaxacan margarita which I also loved! First time there and I was impressed. I will be back!“
“I always get Al pastor or asada as my meats. Al pastor is really good with amazing flavor but me personally I don’t like pineapple chunks in my meat. So just a heads up. Asada is good as always. Tortillas can be a little dry but I prefer it like that and not to greasy. Really feels like home cooked meals.Let’s me honest, we all knew what taqueria was there before but I will admit Yanga is the best tacos in town. It’s not taqueria San Jose but it’s still better then tacos del cuñado“
“The inside is mind-blowingly different from what you expect just by looking at the outside! Their tacos are probably the best in town, at least the steak & pork, and are reasonably priced, but if you are looking for the regular Mexican-American staples, you won’t find many selections, it’s mainly variations of Mexican Seafood Cocktails (Campechana). The remodel Is spectacular, the tufted velvet chairs aren’t going to age well in a restaurant, but they currently look stunning. I didn’t enjoy the Margs although they are priced on the cheaper side. The full on blow-up children’s obstacle course and hard-plastic-outdoor-playground-equipment taking up a quarter of the restaurant is very out of place, to say the least.“
“Didn’t buy much even though I wanted to- they have a cooler of a bunch of drinks, some desserts and ever so tempting salsas and the freshest guacService is great, I had the Al pastor burrito, I would have liked more veg inside to balance out the saltiness of the pork but still an amazing place- I will definitely be coming here a whole lot in the summer“
“I work at a nearby non-profit, and Luna was able to accommodate a reservation of a pretty good size crew celebrating a birthday with their regular, relatively light weekday lunch staff. They were responsive, took great care of our group, the food was outstanding - per usual. One of our staff joked that he has been to three work lunches at Luna in his first three months with our organization and ... what can we say? We are truly fortunate to have a restaurant with great food, incredible service, a warm and welcoming ambiance, and unplugged environment to step away to during the day to recharge, spend time building relationships, and enjoying a great meal. Special thanks to Payton for being a gracious and welcoming server!!! Rockstars all around <3“
“Absolutely phenomenal food at a very reasonable price. I can see why the Al Pastor has won awards the past couple of years. No skimping on the meat inside the tacos or the grilled onion or limes to top them.Very satisfied, will be back when I'm out that way for sure.“
“Cantina is my son's favorite place for Mexican food and he asked, more like insisted, that his mom and I take him there for his birthday dinner. My wife and I had never been to Catalina, we now understand why he likes it so much. The parking lot was full when we arrived in the late afternoon on a Saturday but we were seated shortly after putting our name in.Within a few minutes our server was over to get us drinks and take our order. She was very friendly and knew the menu front to back.We ordered deluxe nachos, tacos, enchiladas, and a wet burrito. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time piping hot and so delicious. Ample portion size allowed for yummy late night seconds at home.A fantastic experience at a reasonable price resulted in two new fans of Cantina Mexican Grill.See you again for sure.Tom and Michele Wyngarden“
“My favorite authentic food in Gr!The food is always Consistently amazing. The staff is very friendly, and willing to explain menu item. Parking is a bit of a hassle but not too bad.I have to visit every time I’m on this side of town 10/10“
“Great little taco place. It's only take-out and seems to have a store connected that was closed. If this was in Mexico, this would be a street food stand. Great selection of drinks, tacos. I'm going back to try other food on the menu.“
“We went here with a group of friends and had a great time! The restaurant is cozy, the service was great, and the food. The food was amazing! Do yourself a favor and get the Mole' enchiladas! They were the best! The mole' had a nice mellow heat to them. The protein was excellent and not dry. The Orchata was handmade and not too sweet. We will all be going back!“
“This place has excellent drinks! I highly recommend the class of Margarita frozen. The salsa is very good with a great mix of Tang and spice. But Casey Diaz are a must have! The steak one with the cheese has this melt in your mouth, feelin me, and you just have to try it! Very hearty food and they don't skimp with the cuts of meat! I was absolutely stuffed. And had no room for dessert! Customer service is phenomenal.“
“This is out regular weekend spot. Home made tortillas and very authentic. All the tacos are great hard to pick a favorite the Quesabirrias also good.. they have recently changed their name to La Favorita. Really nice family owns it, owner greeted each guest and was very nice. They have a loyal customer following and are busyThis is a definite must stop.“
“Came in on a Tuesday afternoon, to an empty with a nice family sitting at a table. A polite young man quickly took my order with a smile on his face. The kitchen and server instantly had my delicious asada tacos, with rice and beans, out to me. Great authentic restaurant with a cozy family vibe, quick. And friendly service, and delicious homemade mexican food!Kid-friendliness: Children playing quietly and respectfully.“
“I swear to you, I will keep ordering at this place for as long as I live. They make the best food and I mean the best authentic Mexican food! Ever since Taqueria San Jose shut down I was skeptical and scared to try any other place but last year when me and my fiancé decide to try this place out because they had Birria, we have been going constantly ever since. This place is amazing, The food is always fresh, The food has never let me down, and the team from what my fiancé has told me from doing pick ups tells me that the staff are amazing, sweet very heartfelt. if I can give this restaurant a 10 and I definitely would because they deserve it. I would’ve posted other pictures but half of the food was already in my fiancé and I stomach.“
“Really good authentic Mexican food must try the tortas de asada and very polite hardworking staff!! Very good and delicious Mexican food! The cakes are very delicious! The people are well educated and hardworking! Thank you very much for indulging the craving!“
“You can bet on 3 things in this life: Death, Taxes, and me coming here to eat at least 2x a week: Fresh food, amazing salsa, divine agua fresca, and supreme customer service. Went on my first date here in high school and I have been coming here ever since! If you're looking for a good eating experience, this should be your only option because there is simply no other alternative“
“Dining in at El Arriero Restaurante Mexicano was one of my favorite experiences thus far! From the cozy ambient lighting to deliciously fresh and authentic cuisines to the top notch impressive service that was provided! I’ll definitely be returning…“
“I really enjoyed the Birria tacos!! I have done takeout and had most of the tacos which I really enjoyed. I will say not the best dine in atmosphere but will definitely be back for more take out. Also the sauces provided are nicely flavored and “
“I saw this food truck parked in front of Bridge Street Market not too long ago, so I decided to try it. Apparently they opened up two months ago! The owner was super sweet, and it was fun getting to converse with him for a bit. This place takes card, cash, and accepts Apple Pay (not sure about Google Pay, but can ask next time). Los Pinches GR make the Mexican staples- tacos ($2.99), tortas ($10), quesadillas ($6/$9), and burritos ($10). They also have desserts ($4.50), like conchas rellenas, and carota (Mexican lemon pie). For drinks, they have water, coke, Jarritos, and Mexican coke. I got the pastor and suadero tacos. The portions were smaller than I expected, so I would recommend getting three tacos if you want to come out feeling satiated. I really loved the suadero (brisket confit) tacos - I would recommend trying that one. The brisket was tender and juicy - I did wish they added more of it to my taco! The pastor taco was pretty good. Something that did surprise me was how juicy the limes were. I always ask for limes with my tacos at Mexican restaurants, but they usually turn out to be dry, which leaves me barely any juice to squeeze out. However, the limes Los Pinches GR gave me were really juicy! The little things that bring me joy.... If you're getting groceries at Bridge Street Market, or simply around the area, I would walk across Bridge Street and try some of their food!“
“I've been there a few times and the food is great! They have a good happy hour too that starts at 4pm. You get free chips and salsa for the table. The queso is really good, so are the chicken entrees and margaritas. Service has always been good too.“
“I love this location!....I've been to different ones and this one has the best food..everything is so fresh....I came here like 4 times already and noticed they run out of things sometimes like guacamole and that's bc they make fresh batches a lot....so that's a good thing!....also the servers and the cooks are very friendly....i will forever be one of their regulars!!!“
“Stake Taco meat flavor could be a bit better however I had way worse. There stake tacos I would give a 7 out of 10. The meat Lacks flavor and the tortilla was a bit oily!!! You have to try their corn in a cup. Like it spicy? Very worth it If your alone and hungry. Not cheap if your looking to feed 2 or more kids. Drinks we're good. Your looking around $+17 per person for 3 tacos a cup of corn and a drink.“
“I have had good Mexican food before but this place definitely takes the cake. I ordered the Torta Veggie and 2 steak tacos and they exceeded my expectations! I just got done eating and am thinking about when I’m going to eat here again. So “
“My new FAVORITE place! The food is amazing and the service is great. They play beautiful music and also serve drinks, I will be back a few times before the summer is over and definitely thereafter, thank you guys for making my experience comfortable.“
“I love this place, the food, and the fact that it's open late! My friends and I stopped by after a night out and we felt like it was an oasis with good food after the chaos of the night. It is also pretty affordable and much tastier than fast food.We were able to seat ourselves and the server came around within a few minutes, our food was our very quickly (1 quesadilla and 7 tacos). The beef lengua taco melted in your mouth and the chorizo taco was very flavorful. The chicken taco was a little on the dry side but good with the offered salsas (neither of them were spicy at all but they offered some flavor). According to my friend the Carne asada (beef) was really good as well. For the quesadilla, we got chicken and it tasted good but the cheese was thicker than we expected it to be.I also got the horchata, it was very good, like the elixir of life.“
“Wonderful breakfast buffet! $12.99 gets you so much flavor and variety. I will definitely be back. Great beans, chilaquiles, some good meat and hominy and other spicy things in red sauces,...not sure what all I ate but I was happy! They didn't stint on the ingredients and I could get just whatever I liked. The buffet also comes with eggs and tortillas.“
“one of the best places that sell pork chunks, chips and tostones, the service that the staff has with the customer is respectful and they always try to satisfy the customer's needsParking: The parking lot has a capacity of 25 to 30 vehicles.Kid-friendliness: It does not have any attractions but it is a place to spend with a family of 5 or 6 members maximumWheelchair accessibility: The main door has access for this type of people“
