“Perfect service and great food! Even the Bloody Mary he had was good. Had a breakfast sandwich on their house baked bread with a bowl of berries. Great choices on the menu. My ice tea was never empty nor was his coffee. Definitely will return despite being a bit far for us. Can't wait for weather to warm to sit on the patio!“

“My wife and I wanted to take our daughter who was graduating in 2021 just to celebrate, the three of us. Well due to covid-bs we didn't go. We went there tonight and had one of the best times out we've had in along time. Our server was Stephanie and she was spot on without being pushy or hovering. She had answers for all of our questions about the food and drinks, seeing as how both use some very different ingredients. We started with the White Whale Negroni, Pomegranate Bliss, and the Picante Pomelo and all of them were delicious. The beginner we went with was Fire Roasted Feta & Olives, yum. I didn't know feta could be so creamy, and olives are just a given as the mate. Dinner for my daughter was the Spanish Mackerel. I was proud of her for going out on a limb, because she has never had Mackerel. It was out of this world. My wife went with the Spinach Pappardelle. In house spinach pasta with a rich slightly sweet mushroom cream sauce. Very rich and she couldn't eat it all so we brought some home for a snack. I had the Jerk Seasoned Goat which was milder in flavor than i thought it would be. The share sides we had were the Duck Fat Fried Fingerlings and Creamed Spinach & Greens. All in all we can't wait to go back. If it wasn't already named I would call it The Top of Middlebelt. Great food and a lively atmosphere where you don't have to worry about being able to have a conversation, and dress I would say comfortable casual to nice night out.“

I am a vegetarian so I loaded it up with just about every veggie along with fresh mozzarella and a dash of ranch on top. In this day and age, most restaurants want to charge you for every little thing. Very refreshing to see a place where they make choice economical.I got a cauliflower crust which was $4 additional over the regular crust, and it was still under $15. Great deal for a student!“

The soup is so flavorful, salty, and umami. They serve other dishes like soba noodles, grilled fish, curry, and sushi which are also fantastic! Great portion sizes too. My top recommendations: - Kiyomizu: super simple udon with minimal toppings. Sooo good and perfect portion -- toppings really fill me up. - Kamogawa: duck udon with mountain vegetables. The duck makes the broth more fatty/rich in flavor and the duck pieces are delicious! - Ajishin: the classic. Contains a bit of everything, extremely filling and delicious. - Curry Rice: a must have! Such a thick and flavorful curry with a little bit of meat. They serve it with shrimp tempura which is so good. You can order a half order to go along with the udon! - Tamago nigiri: all the sushi is fantastic and cheap but the tamago nigiri at Ajishin is delicious and huge! This is a must try if you are ever in the area!“

Dim lighting, high seating, outdoor heated patio, and a super cool bar. Service was great too. I really like their pizza, more of a thicker crust, and the toppings are fantastic. They have great speciality pizza options, it was hard to choose which ones to try! We settled on the 'Pep In Your Step' and 'Shrooms and Grass', both in the smallest size avail. The banana peppers on the Pep In Your Step were such a good acidic addition to the meaty pizza. Also pepperoni cups! Best pepperoni shape (in my opinion). The Shrooms and Grass sauce was delicious, you can really taste the truffle. Definitely recommend! Great place to bring a group to share. “Been coming here for almost 20 years and it's consistently some of the best pizza in the SE Michigan area. The "New Haven" style pizza is as good as it gets. Extremely consistent food and service and their lunch buffet is one of the best deals around. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The smells walking up are filled with spices but once the door opens that all goes away. The smell of incense takes over, please change this so we can wafe in the food smells, that is what we are there for...the food.My recommendation is if you are with a group, order many dishes for the table to share. This would be better than everyone ordering their own dish. The food was delicious but since it is all covered in sauce, the same flavor for the entire meal will get old.“
