Since new owners food has been way off. It’s not the same. Quality is terrible, ingredients have been sourced elsewhere. What happened? Spent $84 on one xl pizza 4 toppings, 12 wings, and a sub. Got the wrong flavor of wings, sub was terrible.

The prices on the shelves are usually about $2 less than what the item will ring up as. They are blatantly ripping people off by padding the price.

This place is hit or miss depending on whom is behind the counter. Most of the employees are very kind and professional. I had one rather rude encounter. I hope it is not a repeat.

The crust used to be the best part about GJ's pizza. Now I just throw it to my dog who has a hard time eating it. Immediately after the original owner sold GJ's the cheese and sauce used to go all the way to the crust. Saying over and over it has not changed in 50 years is a crock! Also, half of the items in the store have no tags or shelf labels for prices. That however hasn't changed in 50 years. Even with the dog treat textured crust I still think it's one of the best pizza in TC.

Called for a Honduran man, didn't speak English but I could translate most of it. They came and gave Jim a ride no questions

Some of the most friendly people I've met in this industry.

This usually is my place to buy ice cream as I live up in the Holiday Hills subdivision. However their ice cream cooler is unreliable and tends to melt the ice cream, then refreezes it so the ice cream is weirdly crystalized (basically freezer burn). I've mentioned this to the owners and after two+ attempts at getting ice cream that isn't funky, I've just decided to vote with my feet and buy my ice cream stash somewhere else. Also, we previously tried the pizza, but it wasn't an enjoyable exerience either (basically tasted like truck stop gas station pizza). Note: if you need booze/beer and lottery tickets, they can provide that to you without an issue.

The Philly sub had way to much onion and green pepper I couldn't even taste the steak and there was barley any on it at all.... first time trying this place very disappointed....
