On a snowy half day of school Friday, we took our daughter, son-in-law, our 3 grandchildren, and a friend of theirs to Workshop Brewing for lunch. We were greeted like long lost friends even though the bar tender did not know us. He went over the menu with us, made some suggestions which turned out to be stellar, and simply made us feel like we were valued customers. This place is not what we expected..... it is a sit down eatery but....order your pizza at the counter and pick it up when it's ready...order your beer at the bar and take it to your table.... Essentially a self-serve restaurant. WHAT you need to know is....the pizza is VERY tasty and the beer is locally brewed and cold. The wine selection is small. The pizza is from "Pizza Parliament" which is separate from the brewery. A great place to take a larger group. Parking is minimal.
