“A+ Dinner. We visit Traverse City a couple times a year and this was our first visit to Stella. The atmosphere is very cool in the lower level of the commons. The food was delicious, the housemade bread and burrata were simply amazing. Our server Shelby was fantastic and her recommendations were on point too! Will definitely be back on our next trip to TC!”
“Had the Olive Twists, Crab Cakes and Cheese Plate for starters. It was all amazing! I’m an olive fanatic and so the twists, having feta with them made them the best thing ever!For main course, we both had the Mushroom Stroganoff. Again, I’m also a mushroom fanatic and this was so good!Dessert was the pear cobbler and two scoops of ice cream. A very nice way to end the dinner!The staff was attentive and very informative and also didn’t really hover.My one small complaint, was we noticed a few fruit flies flying around and so that wasn’t very fun. And also the seating we had was by the doors and so during the conversation, we had a lot of door slamming.I will definitely be back cause it was all amazing.”
“Went here on a Sunday morning without a reservation. They were able to accommodate my party of 3 at the first come first serve bar seating they offer. I ordered chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. After my first bite I knew that the food was worth every penny. I will return.”
“First off, the greeting at arrival is outstanding! We were welcomed at our table promptly and offered water and a drink option, we loved all the local selections. To say the meal was fabulous is an understatement! I highly recommend the scallops and risotto. Everything was just fantastic and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait for our next visit.”
“This place is compact and fancy. We did make a reservation earlier in the day for dinner, just in case. The waitress was great. Food was elegant with perfect portions. I got the mushroom gnocchi and other dish was chicken& mushroom picatta. We got the fried calamari, which was good.... but instead of the typical circles/ rings that are offered, we got some rings and some legs. Like... literally octopus legs. It's hard to eat squiggly legs when they're presented. Maybe that's just our preference, but we couldn't eat half of the appetizer because of that. That was the only negative of the experience. I don't recommend to get the fried calamari. But def recommend the other foods!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom gnocchi, alfredo”

“I get boba very very often and all of the employees are so kind and helpful. Every employee I’ve spoken too has given me great recommendations and helped me have the best experience I could have at their store. I’ve tried many different boba combinations and I have never once been disappointed. I love this shop and would recommend for everyone to give it a try!!Dietary restrictions: To my knowledge there are none, their milk and mix’s are all nut free and such.”

“My husband and I are coming in from Chicago to visit family and I just ordered 5 roles after 5 hours of driving. We just placed all of them on my car and ate them in the crisp air and afternoon sunshine. Absolutely DELICIOUS and high quality fish. I love that the rolls are simple because the quality of the ingredients really get to be the star of the show. We will be back!!”

“Wallah one of the best Palestinian dishes served in the state of Michigan. From living in almost every corner and center within the state (including Dearborn), I have not had tasted middle eastern food so authentic yet true to the new generation of Palestinians. The servers and chefs were great, nice people who were down to sit and talk. I also ordered a caramel latte, and I truly mean it when I say, this coffee was so tasty so delicious, I can’t ever step foot in another coffee shop again. None will compare. Please trust me when I say, you NEED to go here.”

I had The slabtown Burger with Sweet potato fries ( which were the best I ever had!) and my husband had the mushroom melt burger, with the chili cheese fries, and being from Detroit the Chilly needs some work, it was ok.Overall, the service was good and fast, and keep in mind the inside dining area is very small it's a historical home, but very nice and quaint. We will definitely return when we visit the area again.”

“My experience today at Farm Club was absolutely fantastic! I showed up at around 1:50, not knowing they were going to close at 2 (it was Super Bowl Sunday). As my fiancee and I were telling the staff that we didn’t want to be “those people” and we would come back another time, the staff insisted we have a seat and food would be delivered quickly.Not only was the food delivered quickly, the food was fabulous. I got the huevos rancheros, my fiancee got the french toast. It also came with complimentary cider mimosas, and we were given a bag full of baked goods that would be unfit to sell on Tuesday free of charge.Even though we showed up at closing, the staff never treated us like we were an issue and instead welcomed us with open arms. It was a fabulous experience and we will most certainly be back!”

Our waiter Jim was very charming and attentive, making my friend and I feel very relaxed and welcome as each course was served. I chose to add the optional wine pairing and my friend enjoyed their Lady Lavender cocktail which I tried a little sample of. Our drinks were delicious, the wines complementing each dish perfectly. We learned Jim is also the sommelier and curated the wine selections for the menu. He definitely did an excellent job. I started the meal with the Octopus that was cooked perfectly, very tender which can be tricky. She had the Lamb Arancini and joked it would difficult to eat regular meatballs again. We both had the Morel Bisque and raved about the creaminess and how flavorful it was. Entree for me was the Scallops, again cooked perfectly and the Lobster Risotto was amazing. I savored every bite, wishing I could have another serving of the risotto. She tried the Veal Osso Bucco and commented how it was the best way to try a dish for the first time. She even had a bonus taste of bone marrow. The only miss in our main dishes was the Blue Cheese Polenta. Her Lemon Blueberry Butter Cake and my Creme Brulee were the perfect ending to our experience, both just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. We both plan to visit again and try their regular menu and will be recommending our friends give this gem a try.”

“So glad my BF and I discovered this place, we’ve been coming here a lot lately. It has a white tablecloth, quiet atmosphere which we appreciate. I recommend the Middle Eastern Flatbread for appetizer, salmon for entree. BF likes the pollock, lightly breaded and flash fried so not too heavy. The servings are very generous so plenty left for the next day.”

“Some friends and I brought my husband here for some whiskey tasting for his birthday. A friendly young man shared his expertise on the spirits that we had chosen. I asked him his name as I was truly hoping it would be Harrison because I had read so many reviews with many people pointing out how great he was. I was so excited when he said, that was his name, and I told him that his reputation proceeded him! He was truly humbled and said that made his day. But he definitely made ours. Harrison was friendly and knowledgeable, and his suggestions were spot on. We will definitely be back to see him to try & buy some more The next time we were in town!”

He had pancakes and some of the best bacon in TC. We had brunch drinks (Kentucky Bourbon Coffee-yum! Irish Coffee-yum! And a morning mimosa buck-yum!). Breakfast was huge and delicious. We had the stuffed tomato filled with goat cheese and pancetta topped with eggs. Plus a basil sauce. So good. Came with fried potatoes. Too big to eat in one setting. We also had their omelet which was filled with lots of good stuff. Lastly their chicken Benedict. Everything was excellent. Cool vibe. Great service. My only wish is that we would have discovered this gem sooner on our trip and had breakfast there every day.”

“This is like a little diner dive with amazing hamburgers. Cooked on the grill and other specialty. Hot and cold sandwiches. But really stands out is a luxurious salad bar. You can buy a small for eight and a large for 10 and fill up as much in the container as possible. So it's a pretty good deal. It's not paid for by the pound. They are missing edamame which is my favorite though. Overall, definitely worth going to this place”

Today around 4:30 or 5pm a gentleman took my order my wife picked it up and he tells my wife that her husband is always so nice and polite. The Nitro CEO stout was smooth and delicious. Concrete dinosaur was heavy and tasted great as well. Wait staff was friendly and chatty. The arcade games put coin slot to shame. We had a really fun time and we’d go back in a heartbeat.”

“I loved the fact that they had testers, this made it better to pick what milk tea we wanted. I usually hesitate at trying new teas but we got the mongo milk tea tester and ended up getting it. The worker was vey helpful with helping us order.”

“What not to love! We stayed in Traverse City for 2 and a half days. Two of the days we ate here it was that good. We were there during peak time and a slow time and both times the service and food were of great quality.The table favorite was the Black Cherry Pancakes. Just get them, no hesitation!”

Special lattes are available in addition to their normal menu (I currently love the peanut butter and cinnamon roll lattes). They also have a great selection of food. I’ve tried the good toast and chile lime burrito and enjoyed both. Many plugs are available throughout to plug in phones, laptops, or tablets for work. Bathrooms are very clean. Lots of parking available.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options include the veggie burrito, good toast, waffles, avocado toast, avocado bowl.Dietary restrictions: Mundos has many dairy free milk options available for coffee. The line was to the door, but we didn't wait more than four minutes to put our order in.A great place for those who are lactose intolerant! Many flavors to choose from, and staff is great! They offer shakes, lattes, and the "non ice cream" ice cream. I'm not sure what it is really. Our family of 5 got a variety of items, and we all enjoyed our selections. Our total came to about $35. We could have sat inside the shop, but chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful night!”

Their house specialty for a reason and my favorite part of the meal. Packed with flavor. For entree, I got the whitefish which was overall good and the side of mashed potatoes and green beans didn’t disappoint either. My colleague got the salmon which he enjoyed greatly. We will certainly come back.Update: We did come back and it was as good as ever! Got the scallops entree which tasted great and the smoked whitefish dip is excellent! Just a great overall flavor.”

The waitress/bartender was always on point with drink refills and making sure our table was clean and clear. The place was getting full and still felt comfortable. This food was so good and was hard not to keep eating. We still had enough for a couple to go boxes. We talked about how good the food was all the way home. “I was recommended to visit this place when I was traveling to Traverse City, Michigan and I recommend you to visit them too! I love walking into bakeries and that sweet smell of the pastries hits you in the face, and especially ones like Potters bakery with inviting employees and so soft donuts! I was originally only going to by three donuts and ended up walking out with half a dozen because they all looked so good! The filling in the donuts were plentiful and went well with the donut itself. They have so much more than donuts though that is worth trying for sure.”

My date had the Cranberry Aperol drink, which was tasty if a little sweet.The Gorgonzola-chive dressing is a hit, and the chicken tenders seemed hand breaded. My mom’s squash soup was super sweet, so if you like that, you’ll love it. She ended up adding salt for her taste.Our bartender/waitress seemed so out of it. It took forever for her to talk to us, couldn’t remember what we ordered (had to walk back to confirm three separate times) and brought the dressings for the salads to the wrong people by itself.It was not busy by any stretch. It made a delicious lunch off putting by making us uncomfortable in having to check and recheck the order.We got the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and it was… weird.
