“Great little spot to get ice cream. Prices seem decent for an ice cream shop, and lots of variety to chose from too. They always have chalk out to chalk up the parking lot, and a water bowl for dogs. They have seating in front, and behind the shop too. We are close enough where we will bike, or walk there on a nice day. And they are always busy, no matter what time we come, which is wonderful as well.“

“This place has been around for decades and hasn't changed a lot. It's a nice little ice cream shop on the corner. It pretty much has traditional ice cream cones and flavors. It is often pretty busy as it is a popular spot. There is some seating and some parking but not a large amount.“

I got a chocolate ice cream on a hot summer day in Michigan, and it was affordable, had decent portions, and was made with love by the employees there, who were extremely awesome. “I love this place. It’s a hidden gem and took me a while to notice despite living nearby. The staff is always friendly and the food always beats my expectations. They do run out of food if you come later in the day, but everything we have gotten has been so tasty. The Reece’s flurry is my go to since McDonald’s got rid of theirs. So good.“

“It was our first time and shop was real cute and had nice seats inside. Libby was the only one working at the time and she was so kind and caring. She paid attention to details and went to the back to check when I asked if they had any coffee flavor. She found Oreo Espresso and it was delicious! Libby deserves a raise since it is absolutely a blessing to have a staff like her who genuinely care. It was so refreshing to see how she was working. It is rare to see nice people like her nowadays. “Twisty's is my favorite ice cream shop in West Grand Rapids. They don't have as low of prices as they use to, I will admit, but I still think it's worth it. Online it says they close 9pm but their sign out front states they don't close until 10pm (in case you like late night trips like myself). They do not accept apple pay however, so be aware of that if you've never been there.“
