“We rolled up to a full house with guests waiting on their take out food. Somehow you knew it was food worthy waiting for. There was community amongst strangers in anticipation of being fed. The car ride home was plagued with the aroma of delicious food, making a 15 minute drive feel like an eternity. Once home, we grabbed forks and dug in like starved hostages. I briefly reminded myself to chew and savory the flavors and not just inhale the plate like a wild animal. Starving or not, the food was perfect! Broccoli to perfection, rice that soaked up the sauce, chicken juicy, salmon flaky and moist. Would order again!”

“Went here for the first time with my daughter, who is a coffee aficionado. We both loved the decor of the place. It’s quite beautiful and the menu offers so much variety that I wasn’t familiar with, I know I’ll be back. Our coffees were unique, and the pastries were tasty. I’ve seen others complain about the price but we paid about $20 for two coffees two pastries and that includes a tip. I don’t think that’s unreasonable in today’s world and it’s so much better than chain coffee shops.”

The breakfast pizza is everything, crispy bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, and sausage gravy on a pillowy light but crispy crust. 2 slices are perfect to fuel a long morning and they’re so damn satisfying.

Each meal comes with a spring roll and soup, both of which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pad Cashew with added water chestnuts, and it was incredible — I’ve been craving it ever since. My partner had the Pad Prik with shrimp, which was also great, though I’d recommend trying it with beef instead for a richer flavor.

The service was decent, though not particularly warm, but the quality and taste of the food more than made up for it. Overall, Thai Star is a great date spot and a perfect choice for anyone who values authentic, flavorful Thai food over fancy presentation.”

Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.”

I have had a couple snafu's on different occasions (as one does with any restaurant, such as a missing drink or chicken not being put on the side) & Corinna, the manager, has always helped me out with them with kindness, understanding, & patience. The snafu's haven't been catastrophic by any means but small minor mistakes. And she always goes out of her way to make things right. Reviews are not always for what that company got wrong but are also for giving the praise to someone who deserves it & I feel Corinna deserves it. “We just booked CJ’s to cater our country wedding reception with their Pig Roast menu. The food was fantastic! We had plenty for everyone and almost everyone asked where the food came from. Due to Covid, our wedding was put together in 3 months. CJ’s handled everything beautifully. Set up, clean up, making sure food was restocked, they were marvelous. I would be happy to use them again.
