“Evelyn provided good service. Mixed drink hit the spot. Nicely toasted rye bread with sliced turkey, cole slaw and Swiss cheese. Two machines to buy lottery or scratchers and music not too loud. Loud drunk lady more entertaining than disruptive. Not on our regular rotation of dinner spots but probably should be.“

“Food was excellent, the decor was nice with what looked like trees that had very pretty blossoms on them. They also had animal heads on the walls which are not my favorite decor….. but it is a restaurant that serves exotic meat dishes, so it makes sense. Servers were very nice and food came quickly. All in all a nice place to eat“

“Sandy’s has been around a long time. Friends have been going there for years and we finally made it there ourselves. Great friendly service with traditional bar food. While we did not have coney dogs, heard from others that is what they are known for. We will be back to sit at the bar for drinks and a burger.“

“Easily one of the best places to eat in DTW. Burgers was great. Garlic Fries: awesome. Beer: cold. The staff, Melissa and Shannon, were very welcoming and fun to talk with. Both Melissa and Shannon were very knowledgeable about the menu and directed me to exactly what I needed. They also gave me some great recommendations for places to visit in Detroit! “Great tavern/dive bar experience. Been a few times now and every time had a good experience.Drink prices are very fair and great selection of brews and cocktails. Standard ales and brews with some IPA's mixed in along with a variety of mixed cocktails including local specials.The food has always been on point. My absolute favorite so far has been a cup of clam chowder and plate of fresh fried fish and fries. Not fried in overused butter nasty oil. Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams.Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals.Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. Plenty of screens to watch the game or just hang with friends. “Went in for lunchThere were 6 of us. We all had drinks and ate. The chicken wrap was delicious. Nice size sandwich. We ordered 2 hamburgers, which were also good size. We had the fried bologna sandwiches that were really good. The waitress was on the ball checking on us often. We will Definitely be going back.“

“On my way home from Detroit to Ann Arbor today I saw their sign that said “Best Burger Around””, so I decided to give them a try. They did not lie, the burger was flavor, juicy and quite large. Onion rings were meh. All in all, I left the place happy and, more importantly, full.“

Canon location is not on a basement :) but burgers were good similar to Farmington .. quality, size, and options to put on the burger were always nice and more!! “We stopped in when they opened for the day on a Saturday. The owners were so pleasant and inviting. We were so early that the soup of the day wasn't ready yet. We were in town for a weekend event, the owner said come back that night and soup was on him. We had our bloody marys (which were very good) and our lunch.Came back later that night for dinner and to enjoy the live music. The place was very busy, but we managed to get our same seats at the bar even though our party had doubled in size. The owner saw us and within a few minutes the soup was in front of us, we didn't have to say a word.The staff was very attentive despite the enormous crowd. The food was awesome again both in taste and volume.Ashley was behind the bar and was the hardest working bartender I have ever see and the smile never left her face.Great experience all the way around!“

“My favorite local place. Food is great and they have awesome daily deals. The staff is friendly and it's always nice to see a team of people who genuinely enjoy running a restaurant together- they've got that at palmer. The daytime bartender Brent has a regular crowd for a reason, the service and conversation at Palmer is above and beyond any eatery nearby it. I've made a lot of friends here and its only been 6 months or so since we moved to Wayne. I try to only go once or twice a week because if I don't put limitations on myself I'll be there everyday!“

“The menu is so big!! Food very tasty, had homemade frys, so good! ? Ribs are meaty and fall off the bone, very good! My boyfriend had the walleye, super good! Best waitress, Judy H, this woman is super efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, very on top of picking up dirty plates, she was awesome!! “An absolute staple. Best burger around period. Old school. Don't mess with excellence. If you're upset about the limited menu you do not understand timeless classic American pleasures. Never change Millers. P.s I heard they put in tvs since my last visit and am not thrilled with that. Love stepping back in time and having an old school experience. Everywhere has tvs now and it's nice to have a break from that.“

“My husband had the Drive-thru sliders and I had the Breakfast slider with shredded chedder cheese instead and they were both delicious. The truffle fries and tots were both crispy but very tasty. Great bar atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Will be coming back.“

“1st time going to this establishment was today for my granddaughter’s baby shower. I can honestly say the food and service was awesome. My daughter is a picky eater and doesn’t care for eggs but she ate salad and quiche and loved it. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my family and friends.“

“The Bar zee Burger was very good, fries too and the strawberry french toast on the brunch menu is excellent. Great selection of beer and drinks. Quiet enough to have a conversation, which may or may not be the atmosphere you might be looking for. Kid friendly. And that may be a plus or a minus. I'll be back for the food.“

“This place is perfect for meeting up with friends. There's a good number of pool tables. The staff is friendly and the drinks are good. The food was nothing to brag about but at least they keep the kitchen open pretty late. It's worth the trip.“
