This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I eat here often and have never had a bad experience.

Moved here 8 long years ago and still hadn't found any Chinese food worth eating. Until a friend told us about China Chef Ypsilanti. It's only been a month and we ordered from them 4xs. I don't want to get sick of it. Egg Foo young and the gravy is a great brown gravy. The dumplings and sesame noodles are also great. Looking forward to trying something from each category.
Solid strip mall Chinese. It seems as though most of the business is carryout, but there is a dining area that's reasonably comfortable to eat in. I go there only rarely but have never been disappointed. That being said, it's a mid-tier type (price wise), Chinese-American, fast casual type of place. It's not trying to be highly elegant, authentic, or unique. They're open to giving people what they expect, consistently, at a fake price. On those accounts they succeed handily.Parking: The lot is well laid out. It's easy to see around for safety and to park, usually without having to back up on the way out as it is typical to be able to just pull through the spaces forward on departure if not when you first park.

Picked up food. TERRIBLE!! Ordered Sweet and Sour shrimp. Chunks of heavily breaded shrimp, at least I think that is what it was. One slice of green pepper and one slice of onion and carrot.

Shrimp Egg Fu Yong was very good. Gravy placed on side great. Egg rolls awesome. Shrimp Fried rice pretty good.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room if you have a wheelchair

I'm pretty picky about Chinese but this is my fav local spot. It's all one woman taking orders, answering calls, giving out food, taking payment, etc. So just keep that in mind. Be very specific when you order & you'll get what you want. Love the food and convenience of this place. Always ready quickly & open late.
I haven't been able to find Orange Tofu anywhere else. This place serves actual orange pieces in the dish!
