The best Chinese Restaurant in Alexandria. Trust me, don't waste your time and money trying the slop the China Buffet offers. The Hunan has great service, excellent food, great portions, and they're always busy which says a lot about a restaurant. Tim and Shirley are wonderful hosts.
Go here once every couple months, but every time they manage to go above and beyond with their guest service! Kudos to them! Atmosphere can use a little bit more enthusiasm or maybe have someone do a little bit of a talent there! Food is above the expectations for a Chinese Restaurant! They cook everything thoroughly and continue to cook it at a consistent rate! I say that sometimes portions are either a little too small or sometimes it’s too much. A consistent go-to for us. Something about a Chinese restaurant that offers tea right away that I love. This visit the wonton noodles in the soup were oddly hard. But everything else was tasty.It's difficult to tell if this place is open, but they usually are. Check the hours on the door.
