Soda was served flat and clearly warm just poured over ice, after asking for a different soda it was still poor quality ( THE WATER IS UNIRONICALLY IMMACULATE), on the contrary the pork dumpling appetizer was very tasty. The sesame chicken dinner dish was seasoned perfectly in my humble opinion. None the less the drinks is the main anchor lowering the stars so much. Edit: hair found in food

A consistent go-to for us. Something about a Chinese restaurant that offers tea right away that I love. This visit the wonton noodles in the soup were oddly hard. But everything else was tasty.It's difficult to tell if this place is open, but they usually are. Check the hours on the door.

The best Chinese Restaurant in Alexandria. Trust me, don't waste your time and money trying the slop the China Buffet offers. The Hunan has great service, excellent food, great portions, and they're always busy which says a lot about a restaurant. Tim and Shirley are wonderful hosts.

Go here once every couple months, but every time they manage to go above and beyond with their guest service! Kudos to them! Atmosphere can use a little bit more enthusiasm or maybe have someone do a little bit of a talent there! Food is above the expectations for a Chinese Restaurant! They cook everything thoroughly and continue to cook it at a consistent rate! I say that sometimes portions are either a little too small or sometimes it’s too much. But overall I would say this restaurants grade is a A- with a 92.5%/100%

We got there when when they opened, and they were slammed right off the bat. Still every employee was kind and every order was correct. The food was delicious and a perfect serving size.
There is a good variety of food to chose from. The cream cheese won tons are great! Always have had good service.

Good food, fast and friendly service. The hot and sour soup was nice and spicy with lots of flavor. The Mongolian beef was tasty and spicy as well. The egg roll was a little lacking on the roast pork flavor but overall pretty good. Portion size was about right on the combo dinner, no leftovers, but I'm sure from looking at other diners that if I ordered ala carte that there would have been. The staff seated me right away and was very attentive. I will definitely be back the next time that I am in town.
