“Without a doubt, the best fish & chips we've had in the Mpls/St Paul area. Yes, better than The Anchor in Mpls. Hopefully, they'll offer all year. With the fine food was excellent service to match. Great bar team. Combine with fair prices and an excellent rewards program, you have a winner here.Vegetarian options: If OK with seafood, yes, options are plentiful.“
“First time here today for chess club meetup. I was greeted right away and the gentleman/owner was super nice and helpful. Fun yet low key environment that had cool decor with fun chairs, tables and keys on the wall. It was clean, they played good music, kinda like an upbeat coffee house. They let us bring in our own snacks. They have beer, soda, seltzer and 2 NA drinks available along with pretzels for purchase. Will come back!“
“Great Reuben, one of the better ones I've had. Wife got the Irish stew and really liked it. Okay place in a strip mall, would have been 5 stars except for the sh!tty country music. Merlin's Rest is the far superior "pub"“
“The best bar staffed with the best people! Consistently excellent food and service! I cannot ask for more!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and swaps available!Parking: The lot in front can fill up but there’s plenty of street parking around the building. The childcare center across the street has restrictions on weekdays during the day but is available after school. The parking lot next to it is an option too.Kid-friendliness: Gym and swings in the yard, they keep the music family-friendly and have a wonderful kids menu for even the pickiest of eatersWheelchair accessibility: Handicap spaces and ramp next to the front door, wide entry and helpful staff always at the front“
“Great brewery with a very cozy atmosphere. This is a place I could see spending lots of time at if I lived nearby. Nice game selection. Kid & dog friendly. Good assortment of activities and food trucks on the schedule. Highly recommend.“
“Wow! First time here since it has been Gary's... everything was Fantastic. They were super busy and the bartender, Jesse, let us know he'd be right with us and continued the awesome service the whole time. The food was so yummy and the concept was mid-century modern (my fav). Thank you, Gary's. It is rare that we experience wins in atmosphere, food, AND service! Huge W!“
“I love Bald Man Brewing! As a South Minneapolis resident i don’t usually gravitate to the suburbs for breweries. But my parents live in Eagan, and we drive right by it. We’ve been a number of times and I’m always happy and impressed with their brews. The Tupelo Honey Brown Ale is a particular fave of my wife and i. Malty, toasty, and flavorful, as a good brown ale should be.I also really appreciate how family friendly they are. We’ve brought our kids a few times and they run around.Cheers!“
“We had an absolutely fantastic time with friends, enjoying delicious drinks expertly crafted by Christopher and desserts by Sammy. The ambiance was top-notch, and the service was both impeccable and swift. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a memorable evening with great company and cocktails!“
“My mom and I were honored to be served by Edgar, the owner, I believe. He was friendly and helpful as my mom and I debated our choices. The food was fantastic!!What Edgar did not know is we were celebrating my birthday, and my mom's health is such that it may be my last with her. I now have an enjoyable experience to remember, should that be the case. The temperature in the restaurant was a bit cool for our preference, which was my reason for four instead of five stars for atmosphere.I LOVE that the menu allows me to walk in and order a vegetarian or plant based meal, without having to piece something together. (As is the case at many restaurants.)The cauliflower tacos were great and my mom enjoyed the cheese enchiladas. If I lived closer, I'd become a regular at Las Enchiladas.Vegetarian options: Sweet potato tacos available, but I went with Cauliflower tacos - Yum!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy, close parking with accessible sidewalk.“
“Bacon Burbon chicken wings!! Heck yeah!! Had the Bleu burger and it was great!! Onions rings and sweet potato fries were awesome! No issues here! Go and enjoy! Alot of chatty guys just standind chatting when we were there. Kinda weird upiddy vibes from customers-@standing-? NOT the staff.“
“Cecil was our server and they were very attentive and had great recommendations! The happy hour options are very broad and inclusive to food and drinks. The gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options are unique and delicious. The artichoke dip is very flavorful and having different things to dip was wondeful! There are quite a few different seating options, we love the firepit outside.“
“Finally made it in yesterday. I really loved the space, so much light w the store front being all windows!! Loved even more that when I glanced around the tap room was regular height tables. Win!! The beertender was helpful and knowledgable, as I asked him about a few beers he pointed out "all the descriptions are pretty accurate." Parking is easy w the shared lot w next door Lakeville Brewery and street parking. I loved the wooden state of MN on the wall w the hop in Lakeville! I opted for the 9.2% Belgian Tripel - Menage A Trois and the refreshing Cerveza Del Lago. As I told my beertender "you are my 280th brewery". At this high of a brewery number I encountered a first.... beer pours are offered as 5oz, a taster size pour or a large 20 oz pour. As someone who most of the time opts for a 10oz tulip pour I was a bit bummed, but in reality w the high Belgian ABV, 5oz was all I wanted of this beer. The 5oz pours are offered at a reasonable $3.I may be the 10oz minority....it's obviously working for Angry Inch to offer these two sizes. In reality it's not something that would deter me from returning, I was just surprised as in all my brewery travels I've never encountered this option. The lights above the tables are fun, bottomless growlers! Thanks Angry Inch for the inaugural visit to your cozy tap room!“
“Visited this place twice in a two week time frame and just stumbled upon the place. So that should speak volumes! The amount of food is great. The service was good, the person who comes to clean the tables, was pleasant when asked to come clean where we sat. The ordering the first time around was a bit of a challenge (and no, not because of language barriers) BUT the second time around it was better. ♥️The gentlemen helped me ensure some items did not have the meat (I don’t eat certain meats) in the appetizer(s)/deserts. Great food, the atmosphere is simple, petite, has a television for viewing pleasure but for ME, it will be a grab and go type place for me. ?Vegetarian options: Uncertain about the dishes however I am sure that if a person desired no meat in a specific dish it would be honored. There are some deserts and appetizers that do NOT have any meat.“
“Our beers, cocktails, and pizza were unique and delicious. We sat at the bar & our bartenders were both fantastic! We had the chipotle ranch, grilled chicken, bourbon sriracha, bacon pizza with cauliflower crust, and would order again and again.Dietary restrictions: The cauliflower crust for pizza is thin, crispy, delicious, and you'd never know it was cauliflower.“
“My wife and I were very hungry. We thought let's do bay leaf. We went with pepper chicken, palak paneer and pakoras. Wow! I just finished now and I do not regret it one bit. It was extremely satisfying. I still have some pakoras left which I'm savoring for later. The service is always friendly and nice. We also like to do the weekend buffets which is also amazing! Great job chef and bay leaf!!“
“I love to go here with my parents, everyone can get something they like! The breakfast is good, old-fashioned Midwestern food. As others have mentioned, Midwestern food doesn't always have the most flavor, but sometimes you just need something simple and hearty. Geez Louise! One thing is that the place is a bit dirty... nothing gross, but it could use a deep clean. Overall, very yummy!“
