“Red Stu is a restaurant that specializes in breakfast and brunch fare. Here you’ll find pancakes, French toast, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, etc. The food was solidly good, but nothing too special. The staff was very friendly, but the service a bit slow (by the time we sat at our table to the time we left was a little over an hour). The atmosphere was chic and classy.”

“We stopped here after a night out on the town for my soon to be sister-in-law‘s bachelorette night. There was a small weight where we had to sit on a bench outside, I would say about 15 minutes on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty busy, didn’t appear to be very big. The waitress was friendly, and our breakfast arrived pretty quickly. Pretty sure everything is made from scratch there. I had the biscuit and gravy which was amazing! Probably the best I’ve had in MN. Pancakes were good, my friend had a side of bacon pancakes with brown sugar, absolutely delicious! Light and fluffy with delicious savory bacon and just the perfect amount of sweetness….perfection! Even the butter was delicious 😆 I definitely recommend going here!”

“The food is excellent. I had jalapeño poppers which were the best I've ever had in my life and I also had "The heater" burger which was also excellent. Everything was made to order and very fresh and high quality beef is used here you can tell by how it tastes. 5 ?. Service was just as excellent and the atmosphere is good it is a bar tavern so keep that in mind if you have small kids. Excellent friendly place.”

“Their customer service is top-notch! The manager and the rest of the staff are very good. There was a mix-up with my order. The manager resolved the issue very quickly. They have so much respect for our time and were very apologetic for the inconvenience. They even provided us the food for free 😊.”

“Wow! THAT was a wonderful lunch! A cute relish tray to tide us over, dinner rolls and crackers with the soup, choc pudding and cookie with the sandwich! Friendly server, terrific bakery… we were very impressed! Raphael’s will be a regular stop each time we are in Bemidji!”

“The best coffee shop in town! They have amazing coffee, Red Bull drinks, grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches. These ladies are fast and always so friendly. I’m always excited to stop by and get some yummy drinks and food from them. They also change up their menu seasonally which is so fun and exciting!!!”

“The service was phenomenal! Excellent server especially for our large group. I tried the full order of fish and chips. The fish was good but the portion size was very small and I am a person who ALWAYS takes home left overs. I’m not sure what the 1/2 order looks like but I would not recommend given how small the full order was. The other food ordered by our group looked good and everyone said it tasted good. There was another person in our group who ordered the full order of fish and chips and it was the same size so obviously this is what they serve.”

“Went for breakfast and it was pretty good. There were quite a few gentlemen waiting for their food and only one server. She did a great job trying to keep up, but the food came out kind of slowly. Overall it was decent meal for pretty cheap. Worth a try if you’ve never been.”

“Pretty decent pizza, we really liked how the crust had a nice crisp bottom but wasn't too thin. The sauce was delicious. Italian sausage and pepperoni were great. Pizza had a good amount of cheese. The waitress greeted us with a warm smile and was very friendly throughout our visit.”

“I love this place. I've been coming here since college, so it has a lot of nostalgia for me. But the staff has always been super friendly and awesome and the food is always top notch! I am never disappointed. It has a fun and friendly atmosphere and depending on the night of the week, if you want a quiet dinner with the spouse, come during the week. If you want fun and rowdy, Friday and Saturday nights are great. A great place to watch the football game as well on Sunday afternoons. I love this place! Hidden gem!”

“Beautiful views of lake Bemidji. Fresh clean dining room. Bountiful menu ranging from salads, seafood, sandwiches and pasta, to a delicious prime rib served every Friday night. Welcoming staff and excellent service from bartenders and waitresses. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!”

“We always loved going to Dairy Queen when Mike owned it. I have been twice this summer and it just isn't the same. They no longer offer chili dogs or chips, and they don't have fountain soda, only cans. They were out of a lot of ingredients to make stuff. There was one girl taking orders and one girl making things, so I expected the wait to be long. They just didn't seem... happy to see us. When Mike owned it, the workers always said hi and treated you like family. I hope this is just growing pains and things get better.”

“We came in 15 minutes before they closed and we felt bad being those people but our whole crew was tired and hungry and we really wanted some A&W. The Friday night crew was great! The read back our large order to us to make sure they had it right. Whipped up our food and drinks very quickly and sent us off with a smile. Nowadays you don't always get that at close on a Friday night but that crew really lived up to your standards and please recognize them for it. We really appreciated it.”

“Arby's feels so underappreciated at times,
Good food with a different veriety than allot of similar chains.
Their seasonal items are great, their menu staples are a welcome change from the norm of fast food.
Sometimes the prices are higher than I wish.
Especially for things like strawberry lemonade.
I wish more places had alternatives to soda like that, though.”
