Used to be a fabulous place to eat, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Arguably was the best place to eat in Cottage Grove. Menu changed on a weekly basis and the chefs were very good at what they did.Now it is a Whalburgers that offers mediocre food. Better tasting burgers are found across the street at McDonald's.Yesterday, took my son there for his birthday breakfast and it was... Okay.Food did not have much flavor and the pancakes were crispy.

This place started to go downhill in service. Then they rebranded as "Wahlburgers" and only serve burgers. Now, to pile on, there is no wait staff and you have to order through an app. Don't waste your time here.

I want to bring this to your attention. I was at the store this morning, and purchased this organic strawberry milk from the mini fridge by the self check out for my kids. When I went to unwrapped the bottle, I noticed curdled milk particles floating in side the bottle. The bottle expired since August 5, 2021! Had I not peel off the wrapper, my 2yrs old would be drinking this expired milk.

Awesome service. Really good food. They have the best burgers.We were surprised when they eliminated hash browns from their breakfast menu and replace them with breakfast potatoes. Normally we don't care for breakfast potatoes that much but these are the best.
Ordered Hy-vee mealtime to go online. No one had any knowledge of my order I paid for and didn't answer the phone. We had to go inside and wait for them to make it. Then they just brought out half the order not cooked so more waiting. Manager said the order never went through to them. I had the receipt on my phone. Was told corporate had to refund me. Corporate said restaurant had to do it. Restaurant gave me a Hy-vee gift card. Never order online from Hy-vee! Food was not very good. No masks during pandemic. Not recommended.

Thank you Hy-Vee Cottage Grove for honoring all Veterans. I really enjoyed my breakfast this morning and appreciate it. I loved the map you had us place a pin on where we all were stationed, it was amazing to see all the different places we all have been. All your employees were so very nice.

Went on Father's day with my wife and newborn. Only 2 other customers eating there and it took a waitress nearly 10 minutes to come and take our orders. Drink glasses were wet and covered in residue, food was barely cooked/nearly raw, missed food on my wife's order that the waitress questioned whether or not she ordered, and it took a server nearly another 10 minutes of our drinks being empty and trying to get their attention to get our water refilled.
