“Sunny side up Eggs were the best I've ever had in my entire life! NOT KIDDING. The chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy were great and the breakfast potatoes are to die for. Service is upbeat and amazing. Tip your cooks too folks because they know how to cook a great meal.“

“Went in late place seemed to be run by a bunch of kids. Food was decent service lacked because all the kids were busy playing and talking too each other. They just wanted to close up and leave. But they were friendly what interaction we had with them. And the food was hot ?so I guess it could've been worse.Went in again still looks to be run by kids. Food again was acceptable hostess was rude, but server was a very sweet young man, I did not get his name but was very good at his job. But hostess did not make you feel welcome to be there.“

“This is a fun neighborhood place! I had the Reuben Sandwich, one of the best I have had. The staff is great. Service is quick. Seating is a little tight so just be ready to maybe wait for a few minutes for a table - it will be worth your time.“

“They don't have sour beers ? Food and service is great. Has a neighborhood feel to it. I would love to see a beer menu instead of trying to see what taps they have from across the bar. Very nice selection on the menu.Wouldn't call myself a regular but here at least twice a month and would recommend it to others.“

“What a gem! Great selection of ice creams and the young staff are helpful, attentive, and friendly. It's hard to not leave the shop without a handful of pints for our freezer. They also make real ice cream cakes that are excellent! The first time I ordered one my pickup time was on the last day they were open before Christmas ? and there had been heavy snow that day. My car had died and I was not able to pick up the cake, but one of the owners delivered it to our house. Wow! We look forward to ? for many more years to come!“

“I just started cooking here. I've been a career line cook and restaurant manager for nearly 20 years and this is the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen. I've tried burgers I never would have even considered and every one has been delicious. Also the first kitchen I've cooked in that has no animosity between FoH & BoH. At all. Not even a bit.I'm happier in this kitchen than I've ever been a a cook and I hope y'all can taste how much we care about making you a meal. Because we do.“

“It's probably my most recommended place within a 100-mile radius, Food is amazing, and servers are always on point. I personally have been here dozens of times, and I have yet to be disappointed or find something I don't love on the menu. Not a single bad service day either. Just well done all around.“

“Phenomenal experience at Clive's as of March 2024. Atmosphere has always been great, it seems they've made some menu changes that I completely support, the food tasted fresh and well made, and especially our server Kennedy. I have seen few servers in my life as good at their job as her. Absolutely outstanding performance on her part, a shining example of kindess, empathy, and professionalism - and now I intend to come back and hope to see more of that quality service at Clive's.“

“Best breakfast spot on my list. The food last time had a couple issues, but every other time I've visited, they have been fantastic. You usually have to park in the street, but I think it's because they just don't have enough parking. Every time I've gone there however, there is no wait. The food comes out surprisingly fast, despite how busy they look. Their service is average otherwise. The atmosphere is very nice with plenty of booths, and nice lighting. Better than most breakfast spots.“

“Love that they have bingo&trivia nights(along with volleyball! )! The food was very good and I loved that they had a better variety than other bar restaurants- Will definitely be back to try more! The waitstaff was great and a special thanks to the great management who offered assistance when my companion had an unforeseen circumstance- the politeness was greatly appreciated!“

“We got a 10am res. We got seated quick and ordered drinks. They're good at finessing those extra charges but I was ok with it because my Arny Palmy with the peach sizurp was shmangin. I got the brunch burger (medium) with the mixed shoe fries. Egg was runny on the burger and the burger was messy, greasy, and juicy it had me feelin some type of way. Wife wanted hot tea it was good.“

“Good bar food, good bar drink options, friendly staff. Maxine is the best! Popcorn and pull tabs, it kinda feels stuck in the 80's but sometimes that's a good thing. Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“

“Okay well as you see I rated this 4 stars and there is multiple reasons for that. I rated this lower but really it's a 4.5. And that's only because the noise... whenever I go eat there it is so unbelievably loud and I can't hear anyone talking to me so unless you go there in the morning it is really loud. But other than that the food is great and especially the breakfast food the Service is great and the waiters are really friendly one waitresses name is Mickey and she is like a family friend at this point so if you go there in the morning there is a 40% chance you will get her. Good Luck!“

“I'd been here before but it was a long time ago. A colleague mentioned the wings were so good so we came just for that.Sadly I was not impressed. Just a matter of preference I suppose. I like my wings SUPER crispy - no rubbery skin for me please. I asked for well done. What I got was very well done in spots with rubbery skin everywhere else and very little sauce. Decent enough flavor but I probably wouldn't order them next time. Everything else was fantastic - ambiance, service - absolutely my kind of place. There is a free parking ramp behind the bar which is awesome because there are 2 other bars right there and the street parking fills up fast during prime time.“

“We had a nice quiet date night here on a Wednesday. Had the truffle gnocchi- it was bomb. I'll come back just for that! Our server was too young to drink to recommend a wine so I had her ask the bartender (I gave her some pointers of what I had in mind) and ended up finding a new favorite. The hostess, Tess, was also wonderful and bussed our table throughout our meal which was nice because we ordered 2 apps one at a time and then our meals and then dessert. Killing a couple of hours just enjoying a night out together. Definitely will be back!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Pour! We met a group of friends who were all acquainted with the entertainer that night, which was Terry singing with soothing acoustic guitar. Our meal tasted outstanding, flavorful, fresh and filling. We loved the many wine options, and there was something for everyone in our large group. Can't wait to go back!“

“Food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty average across the board. It was the usual bar and booths set up with friendly servers and tall drinks. We ordered the buffalo chicken eggrolls which were delicious, and the edamame which were good but had a bit too much soy sauce. I had a buffalo chicken salad. It was HUGE with only a few pieces of chicken on it, but I definitely couldn't finish it so the amount of chicken was fine. Drinks are always BOGO and they are always good.“

“Lunchtime. Not crowded by any means. My server was excellent and attentive to my drinks. I ordered "The Tornado" burger, medium-rare with fries. The burger arrived toward well-done and was just average for flavor. Considering it's a monster with bacon and cheese and an egg with peanut butter, I was expecting more to be going on in my mouth. It was just average. Oh well, the fries were EXCELLENT. Crispy on the outside and very hot!Got out the door for $20 including tip at +20% because she did a great job. So all told, I got what I paid for. It was definitely enough food.“

“I don’t think this place gets enough recognition after taking over the old Rock Elm. We come here about once or twice a month and always have a great experience. Food is always solid and reasonably priced. They also have a great kids menu, which is a bonus for us with a four year old. Easy enough to get a table on weekends and the staff, from the hostesses to the servers, are very friendly and attentive! Pizza is really good, along with their burgers, sandwiches, wings, fries and cheese curds. Paulie’s has become our new favorite family dinner spot in MG.“

“Food was delicious. It was a busy Sunday. Vikings game and bingo. I didn't get any service until I had been sitting there for about 20 minutes. Follow up service was not very timely. I suspect that the staff was doing the best they could considering how busy they were.“

“I’ve known Dan the owner for a while I drank at the bar when he worked as the bartender at Billy’s. He took over ownership of this bar from when it was beer bellies and it’s a-lot better now. The mural on the front dressed it up but it’s still is a true dive bar. With good cheap priced burgers. It’s a somewhat smaller place but cozy and fun. I don’t drink anymore but I just want to say Dan is outstanding. I’ve seen him diffuse a lot of situations. He’s extremely patient and calm honestly I don’t know how he does it handling people when they’re too drunk especially when they get out of control but he’s awesome and handles it with grace. He’s always been one of my fav people I met in downtown anoka. I’m so happy he bought this place and turned it into a much better establishment. I don’t really drop by much anymore because I moved but I just want people to know. Dan is so kind hearted really cares about the people he’s serving. I just really hope you are lucky enough to meet him. He never drinks at his bar either I’ve never seen him have a drink before. The owners in the past would always be drinking at the bar. Honestly the previous owner creeped me out. They made the waitresses dress trashy and degrade them. There is a lot more to that but we’d be here for a while. Anyways can’t say enough good things about this place and how he’s turned it around.“

“Great experience. The food was great, the price was spot-on, and the customer service was wonderful. These are not your average burgers. For a while, I thought I was losing my sense of taste, but I think I just wasn't going to the right place. Fantastic job! Old time burgers.“

“After a long time of not eating at Denny's, we decided to "try it out" again on a Sunday morning. Oh boy were they busy... but the staff was doing a great job keeping up and staying positive. There was a certain "energetic" atmosphere. Food was rather good... I loved their slow roasted pot roast patty melt... that's probably not the correct menu item name.“

“I took a time machine and found myself in Maple Grove before all of the chains were built. Back when Maple Grove was mostly farmland and there was a lonely restaurant opened that opened in 1958 by two farm brothers. Their sons took over in 2005, but you would be hard pressed to believe you are have not been transported to the last century. I say this in the best possible way. I found this place because I was in the mood for Prime Rib and this restaurant came up in Yelp. This supper club is not one that I had ever heard of, but it seemed worth a try. Dehn's Manor House is a great value! Entrees come with a baked potato (or fries or hash browns for 75 cents extra) OR a house salad with choice of home made salad dressing. You also get a bread basket to boot. The Prime Rib comes with a cup of au jus and horseradish if you want it. No stupid parsley on the plate! This is a supper club. Maybe once upon a time, that meant a fancy night out. However, now it's very relaxed and casual. So how is the food? I thought it was great. The Prime Rib was perfectly cooked (for me), and was juicy and flavorful. It was a bit difficult to cut through the fatty portions, but I'm not sure if that was the fault of the knife or the meat. I did not find it was tough in my mouth. No complaints about either the au jus (not too salty) or baked potato. I do think the casual ole-timey bit might be carried a bit too far. Could we not put the sour cream in a separate container rather than a large packet that resembled a ketchup pack (but bigger)? Could we not remove the aluminum foil from the baked potato (yes, that's quite 1958, but not really needed for serving)? I enjoyed the large cup for pop, but the plastic looked like it had been through about 10,000 dishwasher cycles and I'm sure it has! Could we not replace it with a cup a bit more appetizing? But given the pluses, I'm willing to forgive these small nit-picks. I also really enjoyed the beef barley soup. The broth was flavorful and it was full of super-soft chunks of beef. I loved it. My wife enjoyed her burger, but I had hoped she would try something a bit more adventurous for me to review. Nicely, they did allow her to sub a baked potato for her fries. The service was friendly and the waitress knew most of the people there. It was our first visit, but for most people, it was not their first rodeo. Obviously, this place is doing something right to have been around since 1958 Dehn's feels like it's in the middle of nowhere and there is a huge farm on the side of the restaurant. However, it's only a few minutes away from Highway 610 and Highway 169 on Fernbrook Lane. The website says it's in Maple Grove, but the border of Dayton appeared before we were at the restaurant. Yelp lists the restaurant as being in Osseo. Just let Google Maps find it for you. I really feel like I discovered this place, but it's more that Dehn's discovered me. I've recommended this to my son-in-law who lives in Brooklyn Park, so that's a vote of confidence. One weird thing. They serve beer and wine, but for mixed drinks, you have to supply the liquor; they supply the "setup" for some small price. I don't know all the liquor restaurant rules, but this is one of those that also seems out of the last century too. There is breakfast and a kids' menu too.“

“Went here for a quick drink after a shift with my gf. Drinks and food are inexpensive, and the drink was nice and strong. We ordered pretzels, and they weren't particularly good, but it's bar food... we weren't expecting anything gourmet! Fun little spot.“
“We do league here and Anne and Joey are amazing!! Anne (server) always is on top of drinks with a smile and has been with our league from the start. Joey (GM) is on top of lanes, leagues and always stops by the lane to check in. Both are so personable, down to earth and great people!! Food is delicious as well!“

“Came here for the Wednesday $5 off burgers. Also they have a good happy hour deal on beers, half price on all tap pours.Ordered onion rings and dill cheese curds for appetizers to share. Both really good. The onions rings are massive and plentiful. Seriously legit onion rings. Could be a meal on its own!For main course 5 Napkin Burger with tots. Allegedly this is a double smash burger.. Sorry but these are not smash burgers. Just because it has two 1/4 patties instead of a 1/2 pound does not mean it is a smashie. Patties were just basic 1/4 pound patties standard thickness. Dissatisfied with this as no char and skirt that one expects. Burger just OK. As for the tots.. Not sure, my meal came with fries. I chose not to complain as they looked good and they were OK. A little soggy, would prefer them more crisp.Overall decent food, but not getting a burger if I come back. I would probably come for happy hour, have a few beers and maybe a appetizer or looks for specials on other nights.Parking: Large place with lots of room to park even when busy.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.“

“For date night Friday December 8, 2023, we decided to give the all you can eat crab legs a try. At $70 a piece, it’s definitely not something we can do very often, but we wanted to see how it was so we could bring family to eat sometime in the future. The service was great from Jake. When he brought the crab legs, they were piping hot, three clusters brought out all at one time. I’m a small woman and I like to take my time eating, because I get full fast. I didn’t have time to eat my salad or potatoes and felt like I was trying to eat so fast because after 1 1/2 clusters, the crab was no longer hot. I had asked Jake if I could take my leftover crab home, and he said sorry, no. I did try really hard to eat all the crab but I was so uncomfortable and nearly nauseous from trying to eat so fast…it wasn’t even an enjoyable meal. If they won’t let you take the initial ones home that you can’t eat, do they just get thrown out? I can see you not being able to if it’s the fourth cluster.“

“This is easily the best Culver's in the greater northwest suburbs as far as food quality and speed of service are concerned. Their concrete mixers are actually stiff, unlike the soupy mess you get at other nearby locations. The burgers seem to actually be made to order, unlike the stale or off-tasting food from other locations. The fryer seems to be kept clean as well, with no weird flavoring of other foods coming through. However, for some reason that I just can't figure out, they ask for your name in the drive-through now. It doesn't seem to matter what name you give them; at least, they don't match it up to the credit card you hand over or anything. On top of that, seemingly half of the staff tasked to walk food out to cars are just generally creepy. Like, you don't need to lean your face into my car, guy. I'm not here to chat.“
