“We were in town for a basketball tournament & a local recommended The Barrel House. There is a lack of parking so we almost didn't go in because there were cars parked everywhere. I called & they said there was no wait. We went into the dining room door first & you basically walk right into people eating, ha! So we turned around and went to the door further down which was the bar side. Worked out great being that's where we'd want to sit anyway! It was seat yourself & we were promptly greeted after sitting down. Our server was very personable. The food arrived quickly. She brought out mine & my husband's & said my sons pancake was almost done but she didn't want our food to get cold. I really appreciated that. When the pancake came out it was still steaming, delicious! We all really enjoyed our food. I had a sausage omlette with hash browns and my husband had a skillet. We will be back!“
“Applebee's is great during half price apps/drinks. You can get a lot of food for a decent price. It's at a great location and I've never had an issue with the staff. Sometimes you have to wait a while to get a seat due to host/hostess being preoccupied with other tasks.“
“We went for lunch. My wife had the BLT burger, and she really liked it. I had the Bourbon burger, and it was okay, but a little disappointing. The meat was very dry. Their seasoned french fries are really good. Our waiter did an excellent job. I'd go again, but definitely have something different.“

“This casual restaurant with a strong automotive theme still had great food. I had the French dip sandwich with the optional side of horseradish which was delicious. Their onion rings also seemed clearly above average. My wife had their club salad which she raved about. We would eat here again.“
“The fish dinnerI get 2 pieces of cod most times I eat there. The breading gets soaked when they plop the lemon wedges on it making it difficult to pick up a piece to dip in the Tartar sauce. I still like it. The coleslaw is better than average. I always tell them no biscuits but they always put one on my plate like it or not. I drink Diet Mountain Dew and they did away with that.... that sucks. I like the Raspberry Ice, it's the best but only in summer. The turtle sundaes are still a little above average. Concrete mixers are pretty good kind of like a blizzard. The mushroom Swiss I'd good but not as good as Hardee's. I like their onion rings a lot, the French fries aren't cooked long enough. “Troy is an excellent server, our group asks for him every Wednesday we go in for dinner, he's very quick and helpful of what meals we get. Everybody at this location is helpful and amazing servers. The store managers are always coming out asking us if our food is good.“

You can join the wait list via their app or online when you're on your way, but we forgot that tonight. The food is always good and the service is quick. Sometimes you feel like they're constantly upselling the ad-ons, but our server tonight didn't - he was really attentive and friendly.“
