“Being a college student that primarily went to the cities daily in life before moving to a small college town was difficult. It was difficult finding good food throughout the first couple months. I’m extremely glad to have found this restaurant. The food reminds me of the food that I have lived with throughout my life, being good quality and delicious. I recommend the ravioli“

“This is more of an experience than the food itself. The experience is beautiful simple because of the natural aesthetic of a farm and a barn. You need to carry everything you need, just like you would for a picnic.The pizzas themselves were good. Not anything exotic, but good just like any wood fired pizza. Definitely a bit pricey at $30 per pizza, but worth it once for the experience.Vegetarian options: They had about 3 vegetarian options including a margherita pizza“

“The chicken is always fresh and juicy nothing compares to anywhere else with the special technique used. But personally they have the best battered shrimp ?Kid-friendliness: They had other options besides chicken strips, they have cheeseburgers and other ala cart options to pick from.“

“We only had sushi so cannot comment on the other food, but the sushi was really great. We were a little worried about getting sushi in a small town but it was super fresh and the presentation was also top notch. Would come back again next time we are in town.“

“I recently stayed there while attending a high school reunion. The cabins are rustic and comfortable & the view of the lake is outstanding. We had a lakeside cabin. wonderful location out I must say in the middle of nowhere. But that was part of the charm. It is a combination rental cabin and RV campsite. We stayed in one of the cabins and the accommodations were quite satisfactory. There is a restaurant bar combo on site that served excellent farm fresh wonderfully prepared meals at very reasonable prices. I must make it a point to give a shout out to the service I received from everyone I encountered including the owner Pam. These people made you feel welcome. That kind of stuff makes a difference when people are truly just being nice. I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in that part of the country.“

“The food here was really high quality. You could tell it was real food. Our group got a range of items and we enjoyed all of them. The item I got was the burger special for the month. I was a little apprehensive but had heard good things from other people who had similar burgers. The peanut butter and jelly burger shocked me with how good it was. Honestly may be one of the best burgers I've had. It all just worked really well together. I've had a lot of burgers too and usually try out the burger at most new places I'm at and this one stood out. Normally I don't share my food but I had to have some of the other people in my group try it and they were also floored with how fantastic it was. Really good place with respectable prices and a helpful and happy staff. Definitely worth going even if you don't get a drink.“

“The staff was super nice, I went with my classmates and teacher. One of my classmates is gluten free and they offered gluten free soy sauce for them. They were super quick and our server was very attentive of our table and she was super sweet. “The owner came to our table and explained that he's been owner, chef at the Depot for 35 years. Seemed real proud of his place. Gave some good history on the Depot. The did was fabulous. Bloody Mary's were fabulous. I recommend the mushroom soup and lobster tacos.“

“Emeline was our server and she could not have been kinder and more helpful with choosing our food and recommendations about Northfield and the surrounding area. If I had a company I would want a whole staff of Emelines.Our food was tasty and came to the table quickly. We had the tres tacos and the apple salad. And the Tres leche for dessert. Everything was so good.“

“A nice place to go for dinner or lunch! They have a back room for events and the staff is very nice! There are a lot of drinks on tap and lots of food choices to choose from. Restrooms are very clean and the atmosphere was great! Plenty of parking and is down by the river and the viaduct. Go check them out!“
