Just ordered the hibachi Salmon Dinner Entree which had great flavor and large portions. There were some fish bones in the Salmon but was limited to one out of 4 pieces. Shrimp and vegetables were very tasty. I would recommend the hibachi dinner for the value and flavor.

Came to this restaurant as it was the closest sushi restaurant to where I was and had a 4-star rating. I ordered two rolls and a side of fried rice as well as a Pepsi. One of the first things I noticed was the dish ware. The cups in which they serve water were covered in what looked like hard water stains/streaks. As well as the utensils. The plates had a greasy-ish reside as though they hadn’t been washed well. When I asked for a straw for my bottled Pepsi, I was served a fully opened straw in another water stained cup. I asked for a plastic spoon, which I received with some kind of skid. I went for a new one and saw their plastics were an open bin of mixed open utensils that they use to put in take out bags.I will admit that the sushi was good. The portion sizes were good and tasty. However, the fried rice was a little bit salty, this was w/o any sauce.I also found their bathroom very clean, I’d imagine so b/c any person who came in was picking up take-out…Overall I rate this 3/5 because the restaurant lacked professionalism and cleanliness when it came to dine in service. The woman who was serving was wearing what I’d deem house shoes and the front of house looked like it was being used as an office. The food made up for the atmosphere.I’d recommend this restaurant use a better method of washing their dish ware, and exhibit a more professional look and service when it comes to their employees and dining atmosphere.

OMG!ANYONE THAT SERVES RANCH WITH SOFTSHELL CRAB NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!! DONT GO.I asked him if he had any other kind of FISH DIPPING SAUCE, he said I give you Sriracha. Like what?!The tuna ToTaki looked like raw hamburgerThe squid salad wasn't cold but warm (not supposed to be warm)The crab meat ragoons were filled with some questionable liquid. They had no costumers in the restaurant but the online said they were more busy then usual?

Had the chicken bento box. Chicken was dry and burnt and just put teriyaki sauce over it. Won't come back. Even the tuna tataki was different. It was like a mini poke salad. Tuna wasn't even seared.

Hiku has some great rolls, the Audi roll is my favorite. The place has improved since I was last there. It's much more organized and neater. I'll be back.

I like getting takeout from here once in a while to satisfy my sushi craving. It's fast and convenient. I got the Hiko roll for the first time and it was really great. I recommend picking up some saki across the street at Total Wine to go with your sush ???

Have driven by the place for years but recently have heard many positive reviews. Wow! The sushi was amazing and the service was great. Ordered the Cowboy roll which has beef and fish. Will definitely be back!

Very family friendly and family based. I enjoyed eating at this establishment on a visit to see family. Best place they could've took us and had more than just sushi options!

Food was okay with moderate value. Unfortunately, the service was awful. We were the only people in the restaurant and owner was conducting business with vendor (yelling out loud) at the family's front table/business office. Server (owner's wife) was very unfriendly, non-attentive and service overall was slow as molasses. My wife was completely finished with her dinner before we got any of the other entrees - again, we were the only diners. Ambiance suggests a potentially cute place, but one can't see past all of their storage sitting at the front door and restrooms - it's a mess! Frustrating because so many places wrestle getting help, and they had more employees than patrons, yet couldn't figure it out.

When you walk in the door the first thing you see is a bar, clearly not being used as a bar. It’s messy and overwhelming, piled high with storage. After the host took my takeout order, she stood right there playing videos on her phone louder than the music in the restaurant until my food came out. The food was not great, to say the least. I ordered vegetable and egg fried rice and there were about 3 bits of egg cooked bone dry. The fish was dry in the sushi. The sushi rice is bland, dense and thick, comparable to grocery store sushi- only worse. High prices and cheap quality. Go to Kyoto sushi instead, even HyVee is a better option.

Unsafe to eat. Food was not sushi grade. My takeout order had salmon roe that were past their prime and all of the sushi smelled awful.

Owner was screaming at somebody on the phone? Saki was good, but my roll looked and tasted like it was pre made and heated in the microwave...fried rice tasted like chicken was old. Won't be going
