“This is a great sushi restaurant in the south metro. They also have excellent Udon and tempura menu options. I have never been disappointed in the quality I received. The "All you can eat" option represents good value compared to ordering from the menu. My wife and I typically get more food for about 2/3 the price when dining in on vs ordering from the menu. I don't personally feel that the selection is diminished in the unlimited option vs the standard menu. The restaurant can get a bit loud during peek times, but that is to be expected. There are plenty of tables, so we have rarely had to wait. Servers are timely in taking orders, though sometimes the sushi kitchen can be slow. The "hot"/non-sushi kitchen is always incredibly fast.“
“Just ordered the hibachi Salmon Dinner Entree which had great flavor and large portions. There were some fish bones in the Salmon but was limited to one out of 4 pieces. Shrimp and vegetables were very tasty. I would recommend the hibachi dinner for the value and flavor.“
“Small space, when we went in we were lucky enough to find a table and didn't have to stand and wait.Service was fast but felt a little rushed. My sushi was delicious, however, my husband didn't like his hibachi combo too much. The soft-shell crab was good but I went without the katsu sauceThis location only has paid street parking and a parking garage that is free on weekends. Other than that I would recommend it, because sushi is their speciality and you can taste it in the quality.“
“New sushi place that is amazing!!! Easily our new go to for eating there or taking out sushi or great Japanese food. Been twice and both times service was super nice and quick. Wife has a new favorite sushi roll "Spicy Girl" and I had the ramen with crispy chicken, which was also great. Very happy to have such a solid place come to Burnsville. We will definitely be back very regularly!!!“
“If only i could rate this higher. I came to this shop after seeing the youtube short of them giving thousands of dollars of food away to the homeless and they are some of the kindest and most professional people ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you are in the area you MUST give them a try!!!“
“Tasty unique cocktails. I think they should bring some food back though, I can drink more when I am eating! All the musical acts were good, especially Fenix Dion. The sound was fine for my ears, but I think the shape of the room made it hard for my phone to get good video.“
“They have the best ingredients you can choose from to create what you love. The portions are large so plan on being super hungry or share with another! Online ordering, you must pick out 3 proteins which is awesome. We spent about $30 for 2 bowls. Can't wait to try something else there....I'll be back!!“
“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“
“I cannot speak highly enough of Sakura Sushi and Hibachi Grill! The service is truly exceptional, and the owners' warmth adds an extra special touch to the dining experience. I find myself returning frequently - it's almost addictive! ? In my opinion, they offer the finest sushi in Lakeville. I especially recommend trying the super star roll, and their buy one, get the second one at 30% off deal on the speciality sushi rolls is fantastic. Highly recommended for sushi enthusiasts!“
“You want sushi? That's the place! It's not cheap, so be ready ? but it is worth it. They have a lot to choose from. Won't be disappointed. Dine in, take out, or delivery, they got it all. I usually take out. Call 20-30 minutes in advance. You'll love it ?“
“Came here for the first time for lunch. It’s a lovely small family run operation. They mostly do takeout but we dinned in.Service was awesome and the food came so quick. This is the best sushi I’ve had around this area! The rice is perfectly cooked and we appreciate that the correct amount of rice was used (so many places use too much rice). This will be our new local sushi spot. Thanks for providing great food at really good prices.“
“I love the onigiri here. There are a lot of options so choosing can be overwhelming, but the staff is very willing to offer suggestions and talk through flavors. I also love the fried tofu. My boyfriend's preferred dish is the tori don. The agedashi tofu is also good (deep fried silken tofu in dashi).I've eaten in once and gotten takeout several times. One time we were given an incorrect dish in our takeout order and had to return to get the right food. They were quick to fix the issue and polite and easy to deal with. The onigiri combo meal is a great deal!Parking: Lots of free street parking in the area.“
“I love this place. We always go for the hibachi dinners and they are so good (Yum yum sauce is essential). The staff is very welcoming and gives good service. I personally haven't had the sushi but I've heard it's very good as well. Pretty cool style on the interior, nice lighting, and a relatively small space which is nice.“
“Our family keeps coming back to Haiku! We try other places and have realized what a gem we have in our own neighborhood. Consistently good tempura and sushi rolls! Never a wait and friendly service! Great value compared to other sushi places out there, so we can enjoy more often as a family with 2 hungry boys. We've gotten takeout several times here too.“
“This is in a mini strip with plenty of parking space. Stopped in for a quick lunch date with a friend and kids around noonish, maybe 1pm. I'll just say, we did absolutely no research before coming. Their lunch hour is 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Upon arrival we were informed the last time to order is 2:15. Service was great, making sure we get in as much as we could for AYCE. Ordered a little bit of everything. The kids really enjoyed the hibachi dishes that includes fried rice or noodles and choice of protein. The yum yum sauce that comes with was light with hint of yogurt (might be wrong in this ingredient since I didn't asked). If you love Takoyaki, these are probably one of the best ones I've had. I also really enjoy the Cha Soba, it's a chilled green tea noodle with sauce and green onions. First timer embarrassing story* about the Cha Soba. It came out in a soba bamboo tray and having no knowledge of this dish - I shamelessly poured the sauce over the soba, thinking there was a bottom . Anywho, love the soba and our waiter was extremely kind to help clean the mess I created. So, dip the soba in the sauce, don't pour, ok? Also had the crunch roll, fire island roll and spicy girl roll. My favorite was the spicy girl roll, it's a spicy tuna and yellowtail mixed. Literally, it melts with every bite. I forgot to take photos but will definitely get some in when I crave sushi again. Currently my favorite ACYE sushi.“
“I ordered the dinner hibachi filet mignon with scallops, spicy snow mountain sushi, and tempura ice cream for dinner. Everything was delicious but there was just one problem. The filet mignon was very tough. It was either very overcooked or not filet mignon at all and a cheap cut of steak was used.“
“Our cravings led us to look up a sushi place in our area, and Google maps mentioned this place! Neither of us had been before and so we thought we’d give it a try!To both of our enjoyment, the place was very nice, with some fun wall art (especially in the bathrooms?), and a very quaint atmosphere! The service was very pleasant as well, not too pushy, and not too long in between either. It probably did help that we came a little later than the normal dinner rush timeframe. We ordered two sushi rolls, however, the ramen was on both of our minds, so we put in a second order for a bowl to share! The food was absolutely delicious and we kept mentioning how good it was while we chatted and munched. I would definitely recommend the California sushi rolls, but also the ramen as well, you can’t really have one without the other!“
“Absolutely love this place! We've ordered countless times and the sushi is unwaveringly fresh and delicious. They also make these beautiful party trays that are an incredible value. Oh, and it seems to be run by great people, I've always ordered online for pickup and the staff is always kind and a pleasure to talk to.“
“Restaurant was empty when we got there and packed within 30 minutes - all the tables were reserved. With it being such a small spot I definitely recommend making a reservation when possible. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, she was detailed and helpful in answering our questions and recommending drinks. We got a mix of sushi, thai, and ramen, all of which were equally delicious! You could really tell the food was freshly made and of great quality. I recommend trying the thai iced coffee as well if you are up for a cold, sweet, umami drink. A word of the wise for those of us a little less accustomed to asian spice (if you know what i mean...) - please don't lie to yourself about how much heat you can handle, the spicy ramen is SPICY. The “level 3” heat we ordered was a lot. Do yourself the favor and get a 1 if possible and ask for some of the hot sauce on the side so you can add it in to your liking. My friend was absolutely humbled. He was all but in tears. I have never seen his face so red. I think our waitress got a real kick out of this as well (she did try her best to warn us about The Spicy, so it was all in good fun) ? Overall, a great little spot. We'll be returning for sure!!“
“Great spot. We loved the gyoza, fried scallops, and rolls. The prices here are great as well as the food. The speed is great without sacrificing quality. You could legitimately walk in this place and be out in under 15-20 minutes with a full belly for under $15. You don’t find that often anymore. Absolutely will be back.“
“This place was great. But just remember, rice is a option per individual, so when they bring it to you , you can say no. 8 people with no alcohol drinks with 2 of the people being a 3 and 4 yearold the bill was over $320 with tip 20% tip.. the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, but it is pricing me out of the experience“
“Our family did Hibachi there last night and it was a great experience! priced more for a special occasion (this was a bday dinner) but worth every penny. the show was nice, the kids had fun, we have so much leftovers, it was alot of food but such a fun thing to do as a family! food was delicious and despite other reviews that made me nervous we thought it was very clean. btwn the 4 of us, we tried fillet, steak, shrimp, scallops and salmon. the steak, shrimp and salmon were definitely the favorites as well as a couple of sushi rolls we shared (beware, the rolls are HUGE)“
“A great sushi restaurant in St. Paul. The crispy spicy salmon wontons, mango lover roll, and Godzilla roll are absolutely worth trying. And Sakana Sushi & Asian Bistro has decent prices and friendly servers too. I highly recommend having a meal or two here. This place is definitely worth the visit if you want great sushi at good prices.“
“Always super friendly and have always treated us well. They've always treated us well and have a great sushi happy hour! Never a long wait from order to table. My wife loves the steak dinner with rice and I frequent the sushi. We also go with the gyoza for an appetizer!“
“I've been coming here for several years as well as their other locations, always fantastic food and they're "all you can eat" sushi is no joke I've put it to the test over 100 individual pieces not including fried scallops which are always delicious and a must-have! Premium experience every time, and the staff are always attentive and courteous!Wheelchair accessibility: Direct access“
“Very nice food and a classy interior. A little more expensive than I would get for an average night out, but great for date night or an anniversary. We did pick up and the hostess was very friendly and polite. Cool interior with white drapery from the ceiling and a cozy vibe. We got Udon and calamari and thought it was very tasty.“
“A little spendier than the average fast food places in the airport, but on a cold day when all I want is a warm, nicer meal before a flight this is my favorite stop. The ramen is always filling and I've enjoyed all the sides I've tried (some of the smaller sushi rolls and seaweed salad). For the ramen, seaweed salad, and tip, it was $35 total, which I didn't think was horrible for a sit down meal in the airport. You order and pay on your phone, super easy to add on to your tab throughout your meal.“
“I love their poke bowls. I usually do the Make Your Own Bowl. My favorite ramen is the Blazin' Hot Tonkatsu. Very flavorful and just the right amount of kick. Their appetizers are also amazing. I'm a regular, pretty much daily, Boba customer of theirs as well. The family that owns this restaurant are the nicest people too! Love this place!“
