“They had an amazing selection for all you could eat and it was lunch so it was only $25. Based on the regular menu I ate around $50 worth of food so I definitely got my moneys worth. the food is made fresh to order and the food is very fresh. The staff is really nice and the restaurant has a very cool vibe. My family and I had a really good time.“
“Truly exceptional service, food, beverages - EVERYTHING. Sushi was the freshest and most delicious in town, and we have tried everywhere. Pisco drinks and sake flights were spectacular. You must come here, we will absolutely be back. I rarely take the time to leave a Google review but this place deserves all the attention. Best dinner ever.“
“Every time I am there, whether I am by myself or with friends and family, it has been a fun and relaxing experience. I could not have asked for a better place for fantastic Ramen. I have tried many of their dishes and they never disappoint. You want a good comforting food, this is the place to go. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and willing to listen. Don't hesitate get in there today!“
“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“
“Far from my first visit to Kai's, I do love this place. Any time a friend wants to get sushi together, this is my first suggestion. With your classic sushi place feel, service that's polite and simple, this is a great place to get some good food. The Sunrise roll is a must-have for me any time I go, but I've never been disappointed by a roll I've had here. You will leave happy and full!!“
“We just had dinner here tonight for a friend's birthday! Great rolls, great service! Feel the pricing is a bit high, but then again when is quality sushi cheap?! Overall happy with the meal. Do wish we had some better recommendations on the sparking sake and the edamame had so much salt on it, which was strange. Would recommend for a nice sushi meal West of Minneapolis, in a cute town - Excelsior. A lot of nice shops and other restaurants in the area!“
“A very lovely dining experience for the suburbs. The quality of the food, the wonderful and attentive service and the overall ambience will keep me coming back. The edamame and crab rangoon were fresh and delicious. The sushi was fresh and creatively presented. The mochi for dessert was the best too. Strawberry and Mango...so fresh. I highly recommend and will be back.“
“A lovely place for dinner, with a good selection of appetizers, sushi, and other dishes. We ordered a seaweed salad and rock shrimp tempura to share, which were both amazing. The sushi was pretty food, not the best quality, but still pretty decent. The Okinawa roll was delicious and so pretty! The unagi had some bones it, which I was expecting, so luckily I found and picked them out before I ate any of them. The server was very nice, helpful, and attentive.“
“The veggie stir-fry I ordered was very good, and the tempura shrimp bento box was a great value with 5 tempura shrimp included with everything else.Vegetarian options: Good veggitarian options like you would expect.Dietary restrictions: They were able to make my stir-fry with gluten-free soy sauce.Kid-friendliness: The staff were kind to my toddler who was a little wild.“
“Ordered a few dishes to share to get a good sense of the food. They were all delicious! We had steamed Shumai for an app. The sashimi & sushi combo, Philadelphia rolls & finally green tea ice cream for dessert. Very happy with meal.“
“Excellent food and friendly and helpful service.Vegetarian options: Some options and they ask you to tell them if you are vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Very amenable to restrictions you may have.Kid-friendliness: Family business you will see their small children there too.Wheelchair accessibility: Level to sidewalk.“
“Had the pleasure of being introduced to this place several years ago. Although I live a distance away, this is my preferred sushi joint. The variety of food is great, even enjoy some off menu items, and it’s been consistent every time. Quality of the fish is solid and the sashimi cuts are thick.I appreciate the healthy selection of sake and Japanese whiskeys. I was recently dining at a well known sushi restaurant in Los Angeles area, where I’ve been before, and it left me disappointed when compared to getting a regular “Fix”.I’ve come to really enjoy the staff and their dynamic makes it entertaining every time. Sitting at the bar is always a social experience. Shout out to Mikki, Luke, Dylan, Khoa, Jack, and the rest of the crew! You all make it a great experience!Parking: Parking can be tough in the area on busy nights, given the number of popular places around.“
“We have been here a few times and the sushi has always been crazy good! The service staff is always very friendly and helpful. Service time is always quick and the ambiance is quite and good for couple or for small get togethers. We will always keep coming back for more!“
“You must get the fried rice and yum yum sauce! They also had some of the best blue fin tuna shashimi I have had in a long time. Nice thick cut and loads of flavor you could tell how fresh it was. We got the lunch special and definitely worth it for the price!“
“Solid sushi spot in the suburbs! My friends and I were nearby for another event and were craving sushi so decided to give this spot a try. Interior was pretty and blue and our server was super friendly. We started with the wonton soup, served in individual bowls and it was okay. Nothing stellar but hit the spot during the cold. The rolls themselves were fresh, loaded, and tasty. Not sure if it's a spot I would drive out of my way to go to, but if I am in the area, I'll definitely stop by!“
“I've been coming here for several years as well as their other locations, always fantastic food and they're "all you can eat" sushi is no joke I've put it to the test over 100 individual pieces not including fried scallops which are always delicious and a must-have! Premium experience every time, and the staff are always attentive and courteous!Wheelchair accessibility: Direct access“
“Great location for a sushi restaurant. The atmosphere wasn’t bad and the food was pretty good. The only problem was waiting for our food to come out. The server only handed our table of 5 with one happy hour menu so it took us a while to decide what we wanted on that and the regular menu. But the over all experience wasn’t bad.“
“Having a hibachi experience is something worth while. Whether it’s a special occasion or just because - it’s always a great time. I was introduced to sushi for the first time here - I’m so glad I tired real sushi first! The food is absolutely divine here and the menu is broad. All is better with a great hibachi chef - they try their best to entertain you. We all have a good laugh and talk about it on our way home. Overall great atmosphere and good vibes ✨ if you made it this far into reading my review, please leave a like (or your favorite reaction if possible) and check out my page on here!
