Great place for (Americanized) Tacos. My favorite is the #5 with Fried Chicken. There is definitely something special about Taco John’s Potato Oles. Recommend getting a side of nacho cheese to dip them in. (Then if anyone asked for you to share, you reply; “This is notch-yo-cheese”) <- full disclosure: that joke will only get a laugh 2% of the time.
I've never received a correct order at this location. The one in Rosemount is great, but the Eagan one is total trash. Today, the drive through attendant was more concerned about getting through their script than accurately taking my order. Instead of crunchy chicken (which I asked for and confirmed twice as I believed they were not actually listening to me) I received a regular beef burrito. Even though this location is walking distance from me, I will go out of my way to Burnsville or Oakdale for Taco Johns
