“One of the best MN distilleries, IMO. Every spirit I've had is smooth and well balanced. Their blue agave tequila is one of my favorites and something I drink in the rocks. Tried their spiced rum today and it's just as good. Not overly sweet or cloying like a lot of rums can be. Nice notes of cinnamon, allspice, and anise. The taproom is really laid back but can get loud and hard to hear folks you're talking with. The service of amazing and ordering by QR core at the table makes everything really smooth. They've got some bar snacks and Heggies of you don't want to order in. Their cocktails are all well balanced, strong, and not overly sweet. It's one of my favorite places to grab a drink since it's not pretentious like a lot of other cities lounges or "rustic" like you get in the country. Just a lot of people looking to have a drink or two and get some good conversation.“

“A lovely mom-and-pop restaurant that gives excellent value for $$. Everything is made from scratch in what I’d call a Latino Fusion style. I’ve only been there for lunch, where I’ve tried and highly recommend the Sandwich de Carne, Sandwich de Pernil, and Stuffed Poblano. Yummy house desserts include Tres Leches Cake, Crème Caramel, and Coffee Flan. Haven’t sampled the wine or beer, but the Arnie Palmer was delicious with homemade lemonade, not overly sweet. Décor is minimal but with fine-dining touches such as cloth napkins and fresh flower bouquets on each table. Great care obviously goes into each aspect of Cahill Bistro. Best of all, the staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive. Not to be missed!“

“Tried it for the first time today. The Cathy sandwich was delicious and I am not a cold sandwich person. The Superman ice cream is very good. I usually can only do a couple of bites and I am done, but I keep eating this one. Can't wait to try the banana bread tomorrow. Yum all around!“

“Been a few times for beer but this time I came for coffee and to do some work. It was a really chill place to come work and I love that they've got bottomless drip coffee; just need to pop back up to the bar to grab a refill. Everyone I've talked to there has been super helpful and friendly. Always willing to answer any questions and give recommendations. They've got some pastries from Brittner's next door, standard bar snacks, and N/A options. Only open until 12 on Mondays but you can always roll straight from coffee to beer depending on how your day's going! They hold a lot of events and fundraisers for local groups, which is awesome to see. Their beer is good and it's a great change of pace from the trendy, industrial-chic spots I normally get to. Will probably add this coffee shop to my regular remote work rotation.“

“I'm gonna go ahead and add to these 5* reviews because they deserve them! We ordered at least 3 times back to back. The owner recognized me on the 2nd visit, which I appreciated. The pizza is always fresh, looks AMAZING, tastes GREAT, AND THE OWNER HANDS YOU YOUR FOOD WITH PRIDE! Oh! Yes, vegan sausage (soy) and vegan cheese (non soy ? ) available. One of my visits, there was a young man doing homework and eating pizza. It was a picturesque moment of a student after school hanging at the pizza spot. The prices are decent, too. Even though I do carry out, I made sure to tip because of the quality service and food.The photos are the first visit. Each visit after has been just as beautiful and tasty. I ordered without cheese, just to see how flavorful the sauce was. The sauce was SO flavorful, I did not miss cheese. Mind = BLOWN. The owner put me on to "fried peppers." When I tell you they add heat?!? So delicious! They are the peppers on the non-cheese pizza in the photos. Fresh veggies. Fresh basil! We love the crust. Crispy, chewy, and yummy! The spices, tenderness, and how they fried their food could not have been more perfect. Their sauces are spicy yet not overwhelming. “A cosy brewery where you can sit down with your buds and enjoy every sip. They have a good variety of beers on tap and few seasonal ones as well. You can have free popcorns on the side to enjoy with your beers. They have limited seating for up to around 10 tables, so chose a not so busy time to go there and make the most of it. ?“

“Our first time stopping at this location as we passed through while traveling. James from the second we walked in was an absolute class act! Customer service was phenomenal and recommendations were even better. We came in a little unsure of what we wanted and James gave us some excellent recommendations. The Bulldog and Shih Tzu did not disappoint! Huge dogs, loaded with toppings and the bread was delicious! Thank you James and Dog Park we will be back!“

“I met up with some friends to do the wine and tarot card reading event for Halloween night. Tickets had to be pre-purchased. Located in a small business strip with a shared parking lot. When we got there we sat at an high table and ordered some wine glasses and snacks sold at the wine room while waiting for our readings. Wine and food was good. Overall experience was fun and I'd like to come Back and try other menu items too.“

“Best frozen custard I've ever had! It wasn't too sweet like others I've had before. They had quite a few options, I had the hot fudge sundae with banaa and my hubs had the banana split. The workers were all teens and they were super friendly and helpful. Parking spot is small because there is a drive thru (DRIVE THRU FOR FROZEN CUSTARD!! BRILLIANT!). Line went fast though. Wish we had this in the Bay Area. Wish we had better behaved teens with strong work ethic in the Bay Area. LOL! Cause these teens who work here would be a great example. “I was here for a breakfast meeting. It was excellent. I had scrambled eggs and an excellent, fresh rosted coffee. The meeting room is quiet and well equipped. In the shop you find small exhibitions of local artists that make the atmosphere cozy. You can buy artworks in the shop. The staff is very friendly and served us quickly.“

“My daughter and I went out to a quick dinner on a Friday night. She got the nachos ( and fixings on the side) and I got the smash burger with the sweet potato tots. There was a generous amount of nachos in fact she took more than half of it home. They were super light and crispy which she has never had before. The smashburger that I had was phenomenal the sweet potato tots were on point. Since my daughter is by choice gluten free ( not celiacs) she ordered the chocolate cake as well..while it was good it did have a slightly unusual back end flavor which she didn't care for. “Casual and elbow-to-elbow seating replicates the feel of hanging out downtown or uptown, and the full-wall windows bring in excellent sunset light. The food options are excellent and the pretzel is good to split between three. A lot.of the sausage options clearly connect to my sense-memories from my experiences in Germany and taste authentic and delicious. The hometown takes on them (the Juicy Lucy Wurst is my favorite!) are also refreshing and filling.“

“Always a fun time. They have remodeled and expanded again. A great bowling alley with a large arcade, bar, stage, bands, softball, volleyball, kickball... its a full entertainment complex. “Munkabeans Coffeehouse in Hopkins has a warm, fresh, homemade feel. From the blueberry muffins cooling on the counter to the local artists’ work displayed on the walls, the coffee shop has a neighborhood vibe that is very inviting. “Visited Boom Island Brewing Company and Taproom for their Lord of the Rings Night and it was an unforgettable experience! The dedication to cosplay transformed the place, making it feel as though we'd stepped right into Middle-earth. The theme-appropriate music was the cherry on top. I was there for 5 hours, and even though I missed the trivia, I had a fantastic time. It's worth noting they host trivia every Thursday at 6:30 pm, which I'll definitely not miss next time. The atmosphere was inviting, their kombucha was delicious, and the Hana Bistro food truck was top-notch. Highly recommend for an immersive themed evening!“

“Excelsior Brewing is now one of the best breweries in the twin cities. I used to think their beers were just ok, but they have seriously stepped up their game in the past couple of years. The strawberry cream ale, spiced dark ale (can’t remember the exact name!) and their s’mores beer are unique and tasty. Their location in excelsior is great and their trivia night on Thursdays is super fun. Don’t always head to Minneapolis for great beer- Excelsior is where it’s at!!!!“
