I live in South Minneapolis, and some time ago, my neighborhood suffered a great loss when Curran's closed. It was a special place. Not unique, but special. The kind of place that always seems to have 6 to 8 of the same roasting group of a dozen or so elderly patrons. This is a local spot, and the people here are very friendly! The neighborhood is safe and the food is a whole different story. The place is kid friendly, and the fries are good. They do water AND lemonade refills, and will move you and your family if you/your child spills a drink.

Absolutely devastated to hear of the owner, Mo's passing. We went for brunch on Sunday to pay our respects and show support to this local Edina staple.
