“Have had all of the following and they have all been great: wild rice soup, Thai pizza, nachos, patty melt, assorted drinks. Service has been friendly and prompt. All of my visits have been for lunch / early afternoon. They give you a wonderful cup of homemade chips when you are seated which are highly addictive!“

“First time here! Admittedly we drove right past it at first! Service was great! The burger and sprouts were excellent! Gnocchi wasn't my favorite but was still good. We also ordered a dessert to go- ordered the crème brûléed pie but when we opened the container at home found the dark chocolate cake. It was good but I'm not a huge chocolate fan. Ambiance was eclectic, though we both noted that the restrooms sort of ruined the cool vibe. They didn't really fit with the restaurant style and theme.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! That meal was better than we could have ever expected!“

I looked over the menu online before going and was hoping to order the risotto, but it wasn't on the menu in person. It was probably seasonal and the website hadn't been updated yet. I would go again, just for the ambience though.“

“We had our best restaurant experience at Spoon and Stable. Service was impeccable, cocktails were delightful, food was stellar. We shared the bison tartare, snap pea salad, and torchietti pasta for starters. All were terrific. I had the artic char and it was cooked to perfection. Wife had the pork chop and was thrilled. Son had rib eye and ranked it as the 2nd best steak he's ever eaten, behind only Peter Luger in NY. Mother had the Alaskan halibut and loved it. We capped it off with Chocolate Budino, yum, and honey & cream cake, also yum. A fantastic carajillo dessert cocktail put an exclamation point on what was an all around excellent evening.“

“I think its a great place but they over charged me when I looked over my bank account the next day seeing more than 10k when I'm sure I only spent around 8k had to file fraud alerts, but overall it wasn't bad it just my bank that gave me the confusion through it all. Dinner was a baguette and a roasted bulb of garlic and a bottle of wine. theater in the back with story tellers and fringe artists that kept this transplanted nyer here in the twin cities for 30 years.“

“Came for brunch at 1pm on a Saturday and there was a lot of available seating. We got the gem lettuce salad, American Burger, and French toast and all 3 were very good. The salad has lots of fresh herbs, and the dressing was very flavorful. The burger was the perfect indulgent meal with tons of oozy cheese, fresh pickles and a good crust on the outside of the patties (like a smash burger). The French toast was made using in house bread, and had a beautiful custardy inside and crunchy outside. I made sure to cover every bite with the blueberry sauce. It wasn't too sweet, but it still felt decadent. The restaurant has a chic industrial feel with lots of natural lights and a few plants. I would come back here in a heartbeat!“

Here are our must tries: Cheese Curd: Lightly battered and geniusly paired with thousand island dressing which breaks up the acidity of the cheese and brings out the rich creamy cheese flavor. Bologna Sandwich: Not from your childhood! This homemade recipe marries a blend of spices that makes your tastebuds dance. Lightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside…assembled with homemade American cheese, a slice of crisp white onion on toasted white bread… the best I’ve had in my life! Chicken Gizzards: Technique, technique, technique. I can only wonder the effort and preparation on the front end that makes these gizzards so, so tender. Lightly battered and minimal frying time leave these gizzard with a “cut with a folk” and “melt in your mouth” texture that I have never experienced before.“

“Such a cute place with a funky menu and fun atmosphere. Service getting in with the wait was fine, the worker was super friendly. The waiter we had never came to check on us after we got our drinks, so we waited over an hour and after he came back we couldn’t order food as it was after kitchen hours. We tried getting him to come to our table by waving and making eye contact but it didn’t work. Other than that, the drinks were good!“

“Nice little hole in the wall spot on Central Ave. Busy street makes for easy access by foot, but not car. So it’ll appeal to some but maybe not all. Drinks were great! The apricot old fashioned was phenomenal. Didn’t get food because there wasn’t much of a menu, but smaller items to snack on. Not really a dinner spot but definitely a romantic date spot with great drinks and service. $4 Hamms for HH is excellent.Parking: If you are a driver, park on side streets and walk.“

“We arrived ten minutes early prior to our reservation time but were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and provided good recommendations for food and drinks. The atmosphere was a bit noisier than usual but that's because they had a big game on TV, so we weren't bothered. The food tasted great, of course!“
