“This is the best Perkins I have eaten at in Minnesota or Wisconsin! They do not take reservations, but I came a bit early on a Saturday late morning to tell them we would be a party of 11 — a customary sendoff brunch with visiting mother-and sisters-in-law. (We live in a different NW suburb, but this locale worked best for everyone in our family.). From the Assistant Manager, to hostess CiCi, to our server, Margaret (and beyond) they were all so gracious and accommodating! Even though my request upended their traffic flow and server sections, everyone made us feel so welcome! The food was great and service outstanding! It was a wonderful memory for this four-generation clan! We will be back to this location for sure!“

“I ordered online and did pick up for 2 dozen donuts. It was easy and the worker was nice enough to separate the donuts for me as I needed it in two boxes. The donuts were delicious and I brought them for my last day of work! They easily were gone as they make them fresh and delicious! Would come back again!“

“Rebecca's is our favorite bakery in Minneapolis. The owner and his wife are friendly and welcoming and their cream puffs, fruit tarts, cakes, turn overs and scones are delicious. They're not overly sweet so you don't feel sick after you eat them. We also buy his coffee he imports the organic beans from Ethiopia and roasts them in house. We LOVE Rebecca's and are so glad they are our neighbors!“

“75yrs of business within the same family while using the original recipes. Now that’s the way to do it! We went later in the day and were told they were out of a lot but what they had looked as full as the chain bakeries. It was so hard to decide but the owner was so helpful in answering our questions. We left with 8 bakery items and a loaf of homemade bread. I couldn’t wait to try the blueberry cream cheese donut (delightful flavorful explosion). This is my bakery from now on! Thank you for keeping things as they were and sharing your delicious recipes with the world. Outstanding! Delicious! Variety! And, they have Texas style donuts as big as your head for less than $10!“

“Amazing carrot cake cupcakes! No nuts or raisins (this place is fantastic for folks with a nut allergy!) I love that the cupcakes are the traditional size and not those super-sized ones. Snoopy bars are soooo good! So many wonderful things to try--I'll be back!“

“This is a neighborhood gem and is the place to come for rustic, whole grain and sourdough breads. Their other baked goods that I've tried including this curry roll, cheddar biscuit, and scones are also really good. The only thing I had from here that was just OK to me was their chocolate croissant. Seating is pretty limited so I have only done take out.I like that their offerings are constantly rotating with the seasons. The owner and staff are super friendly and I'm really glad they are in Longfellow!“

“What an amazing addition to the food scene in downtown Anoka. Ginny has a cute little store front that is stocked with fresh homemade southern style sweets. My favorite part is the absolutely amazing lunch specials she has daily. My favorite foods come from Louisiana and Ginny has brought them to our backyard. From her muffuletta to her Lucky Louie gator Po Boy (the most tender gator I have ate outside of Louisiana and that remoulade sauce needs to be bottled and sold). Her customer service is top notch and the cute little seating area is a great place to enjoy those sweets or lunch specials. This is a must if you’re in the area!“

I come here regularly and although everything I’ve tried is great, my favorites are the egg and cheese croissant sandwich (unlike any you’ve ever had) kouign amann, and almond poppy citrus bread. It gets crowded on the weekends but if you can snag a seat inside or on the patio, the atmosphere is really nice. Walk right over to the lake if you’d rather take your food to go!I even ordered my wedding cake from Black Walnut! The Cassis Vanilla Bavarian makes for a perfect cutting cake and is beautiful and delicious.“

“The staff are friendly. Their banh mi are delicious! The decor is clean, bright and inviting. Their croissants are yummy but the filling was very minimal in terms of croissant to filling ratio. In my opinion, their fries are amazing!! Taste, texture, crispiness, just everything about it. I'd say they are the best fries I've ever had - some days they're lacking a little on the salt, but that's an easy fix. Please, please don't ever change the brand/product or the way you prepare/make these fries!! Highly recommend this place, especially trying the fries, just don't go during lunch time. “The ONLY, TRUE Deutsche Bäckerei I can find in MN or WI. Everything is absolutely delicious and Authentic. If you’ve ever been to Germany, and miss the bread, this is the place to go. “This is such a cute coffee place! I ordered the Nate, and I like the twist of a waffle as the bun. Adds a nice little sweetness to the sandwich. I ordered a flight and it was fun to try the different flavors. The prices aren’t bad. I would recommend coming at a time that isn’t busy. There wasn’t any spots to sit at and at the time there were some people being inconsiderate and taking up more space than they should. I would just recommend putting up signs of being more considerate if it’s busy and being respectful of sharing a space.“

“Wow wow wow! The manager Ellery has setup 3 catering orders for me! Two for an NFL Alumni event and one for an office event, and she is so easy to work with, on top of things and wonderful! She makes the whole process easy and makes sure she understands your event and what type of order to place. Joe has been our delivery person for two of the orders and he is so professional, on time and great. Definitely ordering from Arden Hills moving forward. “okay so overall the food was delicious. i got the burrito and it was solid. no real complaints there. the yuca fries also delicious and not too greasy, perfectly crispy. the guac was so fresh and so were the salsas. my only complaint was the guava margarita. mind you i’ve been craving a guava margarita for MONTHS now so my hopes were high. but this one really missed the mark for me. it wasn’t guava-y enough and generally just tasted kinda watered down. (though you can note in my photo that i did drink all of it so it wasn’t unbearable—but truly who can say no to a margarita) it just needed something to take it up a notch.overall a great choice and they were super accommodating for our large group and the service was so speedy.“

My wife really liked her chilaquiles, but thought it could have used some eggs, more chicken (she had to search to find it) and maybe a few chips on the side so there could be more crunch.
