“DeGiddios is a restaurant I had driven by several times and often looked over, bt after hearing (and reading) so many good things, I knew I had to give it a try. I went with some friends to grab some appetizers and check it out and boy were we surprised. Our hostess greeted us so warmly and walked us to a booth near the back. The restaurant is covered in televisions streaming various sports games which was fun to watch and made the overall environment feel very comfortable. We were almost immediately greeted by our waitor who started us with drinks. I simply got the lemonade, which was good but a bit sweet, before ordering the garlic cheesy bread. The service took about 7ish minutes and boy was I surprised when it came out. The portion was HUGE (a real bang for your buck) and was delicious. I should note that the breadsticks are a bit greasy, but this didn't bother me and the flavor more than made up or this. The garlic flavor was strong but not pungent and the abundance of cheese made for the perfect string pull. Everything is more than reasonably priced and I definitely recommend the appetizers at DeGiddios and am excited to go back and try more!“

“My wife and we're looking for a bit of diversion from our normal routine of dining out, so on a whim I made reservations here. I might add that one of the main reasons for coming here was that they take reservations! There are many places we would have liked to have visited but the unknown wait time (if you get in at all) doesn't set right with me in trying to plan an evening outWell, we knew nothing about Russian/Ukrainian food and our waiter was a HUGE help explaining the plates and Vodkas available. We started with some dumplings (Vareniki) and a Vodka flight which consisted of 3 spicy and 3 sweet vodkas. He made note to us that the spicy 'horseradish' infused Vodka was their most popular. I like horseradish so I enjoyed that one!My wife ordered "Grandma's Golubsty" (some large cabbage rolls) and I had a special dish comprised of dumplings and mushrooms with strips of sirloin steak. This was in a gravy bath and was fantastic!!We were even entertained by Valeriy Saakian (accordion) as he roamed from table to table.Overall experience was extremely fun and different. I guess I would ultimately compare Russian food as a close relative to German cuisine. We WILL return!!! Many more dishes to explore.Parking: The restaurant is right next to the YWCA and you can park in their lot but it is a $5 charge you can pay in the restaurant.“

“Had a take out order today (Sat March 23). I order here pretty regularly and have had great food from them. However today, I got home and was super disappointed at the obvious reduction of serving sizes. Sandwich seems “lighter” with the bread overpowering the amount of steak. Very dry as well. But the worst part was the fries. I love the fries dipped in their signature sauces but was shocked to see only about 15 fries in my box. Is there a potato shortage? Idk but it was less than a small fry at McDs. I get that its your right to reduce serving sizes, but its lame that the customer isnt made aware so they can adjust their order. Personally, if its to pinch pennies in this economy, I would much rather pay an extra dollar to have an “adult” serving of fries.“

They have four small TV screens on the bar wall all showing the same and did not distract us even the slightest. Menu is limited to about fifteen items and the quality and presentation were excellent. Service was friendly, personal and quite prompt. My only small grievance is their 5% "kitchen staff fee." I so wish we could include service in the price and forget about tipping altogether. How about doing a survey with your customers on this topic?“
