I went for lunch on Sat, March 16. The brisket was the fattiest brisket with the least amount of meat over ever gotten at a restaurant. When I mentioned this the the server, he looked at me, didn’t say a word and walked away. I’ll never go back, just horrible.

Driving from picking up a load, this truck stop caught our eyes! So we merged into the turning lane to pull in. There are a couple of places to eat but we wanted BBQ! Did not disappoint! A local recommended the Brisket Reuben so we ordered that and some wings!! Delicious! I can bet this is the best BBQ joint in Lakeville Minnesota.

We visited Baldy's BBQ for the first time this weekend. Everything was generally good, but not life-changing. That said, we'll return next time we're in the mood for barbeque.The standout item was the Cheesy Corn Bake -- excellent! The mac and cheese was very good too. I enjoyed the pulled chicken sandwich, and my dining companion generally liked his food, although the brisket he received was very fatty and a little bit tough. The sweet BBQ sauce at the table was excellent. The cornbread seemed more like a spice cake, but was tasty.Prices were fair, and they do offer a cash discount, so plan accordingly if you want to take advantage of that. Our server was very friendly and took good care of us.Overall I'd put Baldy's at about 3.75 stars out of 5. Certainly good enough to return to at some point, but I don't feel a need to rush back tomorrow, either.Parking: Baldy's is in a small strip mall-style building with adequate parking spaces located right in front of the restaurant.

Was craving so bbq went to baldy's in Lakeville mn. This is not bbq I got penne noodles for mac and cheese the brisket was thick tough and just nasty. The ribs had no flavor like they were boiled and placed on a grill for color . I tryed all three sauces they taste like sweet baby rays and famous Dave's mix. Next time I want bbq after this experience I'll fire up my own grill terrible.

I had the half rack and added brisket. Brisket was dry,and the ribs were oven cooked not smoked! Not very good!
So disappointing, I usually love Baldys ribs, they fall of the bone and are delicious, I have no idea what happened but the ribs we ordered today (13.1.2024 7pm) were tough, rubbery, hard to even take off the bone, not a lot of meat on the bone either, they were the worst ribs I've ever had, how did this happen?We feel like we totally wasted our money today and this experience will keep us away from Baldys from now on, 24$ for half w rack is too much to lose gambling on a random Saturday night, would rather get a 5$ scratch card :)
Food was okay, location was clean and nicely decorated, staff was friendly. I had the brisket and pulled pork, both were okay. I wish the meat had more flavor. The baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw was good.
