“From what I got from our server, I’m assuming they just took over ownership for about a month or so. Our server (forgive me, never got her name. She was a young lady), was awesome. She continuously checked in on us making sure we were provided everything we needed even after we paid and just chilled and chit chat. My buddy got the large bowl of pho with the Rib along with spring rolls . I got the small bowl and the raw laab. The pho was good. The laab to me is really well made. I loved it. Couldn’t finish it all there brought it home and ate it at home; the laab that is. Over all it’s a nicely family decorated restaurant. Atmosphere is awesome. Service, great! I’d go back and try out other entrees again next time. Btw obviously the large bowl will come with a beef rib and the small one doesn’t in case anyone may gripe about it. Just fyi. ? also I believe it’s called Chang Thai now“
“Great place for some tasty Thai. Service was excellent, food was top notch. I had the green curry with chicken and my husband got the drunken noodles we both did medium heat and added more chili oil one we tried it. Very delicious on their own but we personally added more heat.Will be back to try more stuff! Our guests had the seafood pad tom soup (loved it) and the other the Thai version of chow mein.Will def be back and it's a walkable distance from the starcade in keg and case.“
“I order three Thai dishes usually from Thai places: Drunken noodles, Thai basil fried rice, and what ever wings they have.Tonight I tried Yoyar. Drunken noodles, Thai basil fried rice and spicy wings. This was the BEST three out of any place in the twin cities.The Drunken noodles were thin, rich, and the medium spice was purpose. The fried rice didn't clump, the basil was fantastic, and the flavors were great.And the glaze and cut on the spicy wings was perfect. Wow. Fan for life.“

“Had a very nice lunch here with my cousin. The food is quite authentic. Had spring rolls, Pad Thai, and Laab. I was so excited they had chicken Laab, most places just have pork. You can even get tofu Laab here. The spring rolls had rather a lot of lettuce but very fresh.My cousin and I hadn't seen each other in a long time, so we were there quite awhile. “Mela is a family favorite, we were looking for a new Thai restaurant when we moved into the area, and this is definitely the best. The curries are fantastic but we usually get the Pad Thai, purely out of familiarity. The massaman curry is out of this world, too. The spice here is serious, so if you love food that brings the heat this will definitely be a winner for you. Milder dishes are definitely available and other dishes can be tamed in flavor for those with less adventurous palates.Overall I would highly recommend.“

“My husband and I had the Laos papaya salad (4/5 spice), dried noodles (3/5 spice) and beef laab (3/5 spice). The food was amazing!! The spice and flavor was on point! The service was excellent!!The owner was very personable and met our needs to the best of his abilities. My husband wanted raw laab, but he couldn’t serve it raw, so he made it medium rare.The atmosphere was casual but a little small; if I would’ve brought my family there, it would’ve been difficult to seat everyone.Lunch hour. “OMGosh!!!! The spring rolls and Tom Yum are soooo delicious! I will be back. I've already told 3 people about this during my meal ? The owner Sam is so delightful. I had the pleasure of eating inside as it is posted as pickup only between the times of 11-1:30pm and 4pm until ? He allows a group of 4 or less to eat inside at times. He offered this when I told him I was in the parking lot. Do NOT miss this place! The food is fresh. The spring roll sauce is homemade. A+++Parking: Parking close and easy for quick pick up.“
“First time visit and I had the impression to order pho, but the menu selection was very exciting. The organization of the menu is real easy to read. I must say the prices of the appetizers and entrees are affordable. Which helped to order more than 1 item to explore and enjoy something new.I ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu. The taste was on point and a great portion. Ended up taking half of the Pad Thai to go. The limes really helped me enjoy the noodles and the sauce selection at the table was helpful. By the way - the tofu was cooked perfectly. Crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. We did take-out and took them about 30-40 mins to get our food ready.Customer service - my husband went in to order and he felt the service was not the greatest, but it is what it is.I am always searching for the best drunken noodles or better known as Pad Kee Mao. When I saw that Ban Thai make Pad Kee Mao, I had to give them a try. So far it’s good. The flavor is different from others that I’ve had. Their seasonings is their own. But I enjoyed it. The noodles were soft, just how I like them. The only downfall is their pork was a little bit on the drier side. I rate it 4/5 stars. Wouldn’t mind ordering it again tho.Their Bangkok Spring Rolls were okay. I order it with pork. Maybe next time I’ll do their shrimp instead. The sauce was okay too. “The boat noodle here is one of the best you can find in the Twin Cities. I always come here just for this one dish. Their egg rolls come in good quantity and also tastes amazing. Very small restaurant unfortunately so it can be difficult finding a seat during busy times. This place gets a 4.5 star in my books.“

“we've been here probably a dozen times and haven't had anything that wasn't delicious. particularly love the fresh rolls, red curry and drunken noodles but we've tried almost everything and never been disappointed. my daughter usually doesn't like pad thai because it can be fish sauce heavy but here she loves it. if you like Thai food, this is your new GoTo place .“
