“Visited 4/15/24. Back at BLG. As always, give yourself time (and money) for parking. I like the ramp across the street vs trying to find street parking. We got a reservation in advance which was good because this place was popping on a Monday night! To start, we split the garlic and EVOO and then the charred red onion with goat cheese bruschettas. My sister and I were partial to the goat cheese one but both were solid. I got the gnocchi with cauliflower and orange (my fave), my sister got the red wine with pine nut spaghetti, and my mom got the mushroom and taleggio agnolotti. I've had the gnocchi before and it was just as good this time. The sleeper hit of the night was as the red wine with pine nut spaghetti-honestly a good price for the portion size and the overall flavor. The agnolotti was rich but delicious. Honestly everything that I've had at BLG has been on the richer side but that's low key how I prefer my Italian food. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Old school Italian meets modern in a trendier place that still feels homestyle like my Italian grandma's kitchen.“
“They squeezed us in despite having a full house. We’ve been twice and both times were incredible. I don’t know what is better- the service or the food. Even the burger is one of the best in the cities. Sit at the chef’s table if you can and make sure you get a dessert.“
“My new favorite restaurant in the cities! Took my mom and dad here for my mother's birthday and we were all wowed by every dish! The mussels were amazing and the grilled bread along with was perfection. The rarebit took our words away- special, unique and craveable- highly recommend. The Caesar was actually something- fresh, perfectly light and savory sharp. The arroz con leche made my parents mumble delighted approval... All the drinks were complex and amazingly balanced (the Verde is my fav and very refreshing).(Petite Leon- PLEASE dont take the rarebit off the menu!)“
“When is a wine bar more than just a wine bar? When it's Milly's and they serve you 2 glasses of wine and you get to guess which one is which. The prize is just bragging rights, but it's so much fun! Their wine list is extensive and amazing, and the servers are amazingly knowledgeable about them. The food is delicious too: mezze, flatbreads, charcuterie. The ambiance is just lovely. This is a must-try!“
“Super impressed by our experience with wait staff, this place is absolutely adorable, and the food was very impressive. We loved the drink menu with so many options for N/A drinkers, too. Being able to pop next door and buy items we enjoyed at dinner to take home was a delight.“
“The food was great overall. However, my own dish of lobster gnocchi could have used less of the salt. It's better salty than bland, though. However, the service from the young waiter with long hair was outstanding. We'll be back when my daughters can treat me to another lovely dinner.“
“Just tried this place for the first time. Fun atmosphere, great service, great wine selection, and some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long while. The baby back ribs and the Five Spice Tofu were particularly good. Loved it!“
“Start to finish absolutely amazing! Reservations were easy to make with online booking. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We had originally planned on going to the Fogao downtown but found out that the one attached to our hotel offers the same services. Staff was amazing! By far the best I've ever experienced. The food selection was all I could have ever asked for and more, believe me I tried it all. We also tried the house drinks and desert which were top notch. Would definitely go back!“
“Great Vibe. Space is relatively small for the amount of people that come in to enjoy. The wait is worth it; food and drink is fantastic. My only recommendation would be to print the menu in bigger font because it’s a dimly lit restaurant so get out your phone to shine a light. Definitely going back to enjoy other items. Service was top notch“
“Kruse Market is wonderful! We enjoyed the Rainbow Bowl, What’s Wrong with Basic toast, Masala Chai Tea, and Blueberry Hills coffee. All were fantastic! A friend ordered the G.O.A.T. toast (on gluten-free bread) and let me take a nibble - divine! The retail side had a ton of great merch (those basil olives!!! *chef’s kiss!*) that we also stocked up on. And my family was pleasantly surprised to be the recipients of fresh takeout pastries and some Milkjam ice cream! We had such a fantastic time! There are ample outlets for the remote worker, and enough choices to satisfy all kinds of palates and dietary needs. I can’t wait to go back for dinner!“
“The server we had was incredibly polite and don’t even get me started on how good the chicken quesadilla was, i thought they were going to be tiny because it was under the starters section on there menu, but I was wrong I got 4 that were as big as my hand. I wish they could deliver some quesadillas to my “
“Very good, if very pricey, steak and seafood house. Quiet, comfortable, and artistic ambiance, excellent service. Fabulous Manhattans.Only knock is for the disappointing preparation of Chilean Sea. Much wad made of the fingerling potato confit. It was a dreadful. (Try Crave for their Sea Bass!)But lobster bites (again, very pricey) and chicken (somewhat reasonable) were excellent,Had it not been Friday in Lent, two of us would have tried the filet. The beef tray looked very good. We'll return.“
“Everything was absolutely superb! Our waiter, Carlos, took excellent care of us. Our food was exceptional ! From the seafood platter to steaks and all the accompaniments. And of course the best cocktails and wine. The evening was very important to us and Capital Grille and Carlos took the best care of us.“
“We went to Joan’s with our dining group, Haute Plates, and left there not only fully sated, but euphoric. From the astounding service (Dan) to the overseeing by Joan herself, and all the prep by Jen for our group, we were already blown away. Then the food arrived. Each bite sent us into reverie. Are they magicians??Dietary restrictions: I cannot do butter. They were beyond accommodating!“
“Leah was on the case with water and menus when we sat. Our server Melissa was attentive, fun and professional. I had the bleu smash burger thing. Very tasty. I've not seen their cut of fries before, a kind of shaving technique, really flavorful. The entertainment was the best part. Alex Gelking performed a cool mix of songs and styles. He played 'Fearless' for god's sake. Good evening all around. 5 stars.“
“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra. The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“
“I've been to AceBridge a couple of times. The first time, my group of 4 did the simple tasting. The owner happened to be there so he did the tasting and we ended up getting so much more. Not only did he end up letting us sample more than expected, he also gave us a great lesson on his company and the evolution of wine in MN.Last weekend, I was back with a group of 11. This time we were there for the limo tour (listed on their website). I highly recommend. We all had such a good time. It was completely worth the cost when we split it up evenly per person.“
“This was the perfect restaurant find for our friends weekend out. The atmosphere was so fun, eye catching, unique and well decorated! The food was hands down delicious. The bars are beautiful! The staff was very friendly easy to talk to. I was so impressed the whole time were were there! When we are back in the area we will definitely go back here!!!“
“First time - and will be back! 5 of us ate and sharing is encouraged with the delicious, creative “foodie” options. Service was outstanding and excellent acoustics for conversation but still with an ambient chatter of other diners. Very good experience here.“
“I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.“
“Absolutely wonderful !!!! Mallards has been my favorite place to dine since my first meal eaten there. The BARRAMUNDI RODRIGO a special feast but the WILD MUSHROOM PAPPARDELLE is certainly on top as well. The first time I saw the price of the LOBSTER ROLL I suffered sticker shock, UNTIL I TRIED ONE. WORTH EVERY PENNY & THEM SOME! Highly recommend!!!“
“Good burgers, good appetizers. A very solid experience. I would recommend sitting at the bar, the bartenders are always awesome and give great service. The burgers have a good variety that you can't find other places so it's fun to try different things too. The atmosphere is relaxed without being divey. Would recommend.“
“Although it’s a little tucked away in deluxe plaza, Gray Fox a nice café with good atmosphere for reading or working. I got a black coffee with a cake donut (total $6.65; $3.00 12oz coffee + $2.65 cake donut + $1.00 tax) and both were very good! The coffee was actually better and cheaper than most cafés in Minneapolis. It does have a very open environment, but I think it adds a unique atmosphere. Definitely would recommend for a quick stop before starting your day!“
“Visiting Minneapolis, and found this place close to our Airbnb. Their salty dog was amazing. Dark chocolate, caramel and salt. Not powerfully sweet- think slightly veering to a savory hot cocoa. I usually stick to a vanilla latte as any specialty drink is too sweet, but this was just right. The service was great, and the atmosphere is super peaceful and chill.“
“I did not expect to write a review for an airport restaurant but I loved this place. I loved it so much I want to come here next time I visit MSP (especially if I need extra flight legs for airline status). The hummus was so good. And a 9oz pour for $11?!? In the airport?!? This place is such a win.“
“Decent food and wine. Stopped in on way through for work. Got the spicy ham pizza and a moscatto. I asked for crushed red pepper but man, after a bit with no added peppers, changed my mind. The pizza had plent of balance and heat. Good place, decent prices.“
“Being vegan, I wanted an option at the Mall of America that wasn't a chain restaurant or heavy deep friend food/burger. I found CRAVE has a separate vegan/plant based menu. I sat at the bar to eat. The waitstaff were kind and attentive. I went during happy hour, and there are a few vegan options on the happy hour menu. I got the edamame, sushi roll, and a cider. I would go back again!“
“Great happy hour starting at 3 pm! Gorgeous interior in the historic Rand Tower!Delicious drinks, both nonalcoholic and (strong) alcoholic drinks. I had the Nymphea, yum! ?The oysters were good! Really good French fries too!! The beef tartar was ok, it’s worth trying.Overall this is a great place that more people should go to!Parking: This is downtown Minneapolis, so there are pay parking ramps all around and pay street parking spots.Kid-friendliness: I don’t know I’d bring my kids here, it’s more of an adult cocktail lounge.“
“Great service and like the new take on the place but who tf wrote this drink menu? Vodka in a mojito? Ginger ale in an old fashion? Assuming new ownership but can you have someone who knows standard recipes write your recipes, even with being "crafted" like tossing blueberries in a mojito without changing the foundational recipe which never includes vodka, please? Christ. At these prices you'd think the foundations you add on would at least be accurate. Also, $12 for drinks that have well liquor is pretty shameful as well, just make them all the $13 drinks with call liquor. Smfh. Great service, though“
“Outstanding in so many ways. The atmosphere transports u to another place. Seating options are all great including at the fancy bar, in the bar at a high top, fancy dining room and my fav: patio on a warm day. Food amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing. Easy parking. Italian food store attached. Great for special occasions, happy hour, any time really.“
