It was my first time there and I loved it. We did a walk-in on Monday and had a wonderful experience from top to bottom! Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is homey and unpretentious. The food was fantastic! Especially the Aguacate - I can’t stress this enough, get the Aguacate!!Drinks were good as well, plus they have Modelo on tap! Cannot wait to go back and sit on the patio this summer!

The food was AMAZING!! The only downside was it was packed with tables, which compromised access and service. The food, however, was out of this world with flavor.

There is a major disconnect between front and back of the house. The food was really good. Smallish portions maybe, but definitely not a dealbreaker. The service, however, left much to be desired as they prattled on about wine regions in France before insisting the only bottle of white we could have was this something-or-other from New Zealand which costs $12 at the liquor store but for which we were charged $56. Halfway through dinner a party at another table was taking a photo so the server threw on the overhead lights all the way up and left them like that. Awhile later we asked if they could turn the lights back down, and I watched the server go to the back room, stare at the light controls for 45 seconds and then come back out to the dining room, the lights still full blast. There were about a dozen half empty bottles of wine on the table behind us, and when my glass was half empty the server started pouring wine from those bottles into my glass. It was just nuts. But the food was solid. 3 stars, but probably won't return.

One star because the vegetables on every dish were cooked very well, but everything else was a disappointment. -Server gave incorrect allergen information when ordering. -Mezcal Old Fashioned was sickly sweet -- I could barely taste the liquor for all the sugar. -Proteins were all disappointing. Lamb was more fat than meat, tenderloin was not tender at all, and shrimp ceviche was overcooked and tough. -Dessert was tasty, but badly mislabeled. Described on the menu as "creme brulee with blueberry compote," a more accurate description would have been "egg custard with apples." I still enjoyed it but my dining partner did not. I would not come here again, or recommend it to anyone unless they are looking for a vegetarian option and don't mind paying a lot for a small plate.

SO GOOD. Not sure why it wasn't crowded on a Friday night (red flag?) but my family loved every dish that we ordered. I think the fav was ceviche

Fantastic experience all around! We went to Ena to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Plates are small and shareable. The food and drinks here are impeccable! We ordered the Costilla, Cordero, & Lubina. Every bite was flavorful and delicious! Even the simplest things like the potato’s and greens had a very elevated taste!

I had a reservation for 7pm. day of reservation I get a call at 3pm that they are closing for the day due to cold. It was -1 degrees, so hardly unusual for Minnesota. So sort of odd there. I guess don’t plan on going if it’s below zero?

Love this place. The food is incredible. Just celebrated some birthdays there and shared six different dishes, which were all great. Loved the scallops, tuna, and lamb. Highly recommended.

I used to love this place, we drove from woodbury to Minneapolis for new year eve dinner, first the waitress was really rude she didn't explain the menu and we tried to order some entries but it looks like she was on the rush just for us to order our main dishes, by the end I didn't order nothing to eat because I just wanted to leave but I didn't want to make a scene if you go to this place and a small curly lady mid 50s with a tattoo on the arm is trying to be your waitress, save yourself for a bad experience and ask for someone else. And the portions are ridiculously small and the food is overpriced.

I've been coming to this South Mpls neighborhood gem for years . Especially love sitting on their outside patio in the summer and sharing the guacamole, which I personally think is the best in the cities! Chef Hector Ruiz grows all the ingredients on site for the guac,I also like the Corn shrimp fritters for appetizer. I used to really enjoy the rest of the seafood but lately the menu has changed and unfortunately the execution of some of these dishes just don't taste the same. Still it's a great place to enjoy drinks and apps if in the area

This restaurant is such a hidden gem. The food is absolutely wonderfully innovative and rich. This is a perfect place to explore Latin cuisine with a modern twist. The staff are amazing and the service is impressive. Every time I go in it is not half as packed as it should be. This place needs more publicity because it deserves it!
