Although I don’t go as much as I would like, I have always loved stopping in for a bite ever since stopping in for my first pasty a few years back. I have never been let down by the quality of the food, the pasty is well balanced between the ample stuffing and golden outside, it is delicious every time without doubt. Mouthwateringly good. Reminiscent (to me , at least) of Bolivian saltenas, these are hearty pastries stuffed with a piping hot stew of meat, carrots, onions, potatoes, cumin, pepper. The dough is slightly sweet (it’s made with apple)… it’s simultaneously soft, chewy, and crisp… baked to perfection

This place is great! Real, traditional Cornish pasties all nice and hot. They’re perfect for a cold day. Do note that they seem to sell out of certain options pretty early so if you want the best selection go closer to opening. A nice spot to get some UK snacks and goodies too!
