“Visited 4/15/24. Back at BLG. As always, give yourself time (and money) for parking. I like the ramp across the street vs trying to find street parking. We got a reservation in advance which was good because this place was popping on a Monday night! To start, we split the garlic and EVOO and then the charred red onion with goat cheese bruschettas. My sister and I were partial to the goat cheese one but both were solid. I got the gnocchi with cauliflower and orange (my fave), my sister got the red wine with pine nut spaghetti, and my mom got the mushroom and taleggio agnolotti. I've had the gnocchi before and it was just as good this time. The sleeper hit of the night was as the red wine with pine nut spaghetti-honestly a good price for the portion size and the overall flavor. The agnolotti was rich but delicious. Honestly everything that I've had at BLG has been on the richer side but that's low key how I prefer my Italian food. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Old school Italian meets modern in a trendier place that still feels homestyle like my Italian grandma's kitchen.”
“We are so lucky to have this beautiful place in Uptown. The hummus is entirely magical. And the food is delicious. We can’t wait to try it all!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a clear ramp on the side of the building giving easy access to the building”
“Hands down one of my favorite new restaurants of 2024 so far. Service was amazing (they clear your plates and utensils between every course), and every dish my group ordered was amazing. I was a huge fan of the pork chop, smoked eel, and I still dream of the octopus bolognese. It is a bit of a pricier spot, but totally worth it (I'm already thinking about when I'd come back for the bolognese). It's a little small inside since it took over the old Revival on Nicollet, but I love the moody vibes.”
“Love that it’s veggie forward - broccolini, mushrooms, others have us coming back for more! But that pub styler burger with dijon mayo is to die for and such a nice treat. The cake is delicious and outdoor patio in the summer is very niceDietary restrictions: Accommodating”
“Great experience and even better food. The manomin latte was a treat as was the bison with wojapi. Loved the wild rice pudding the most but everything we ordered was incredible. Service was spot on as well. Great place!”

“First time visitors. We will go back. We will likely share an entree next time. We just can’t eat like we used too. Great food, wonderful staff. Great neighboring tables.”
“I love this place. As far as I know there isn't a better breakfast at this price point anywhere in the city. Certainly not downtown. My Saturday morning ritual over the past 6-7 months has been to get two Cryin Eggys, eat one immediately and eat the second for dinner. They reheat surprisingly well (10 minutes in the oven at 350, then a 20-second blast in the microwave).”
“It was pretty good. Huge piece of fish. I ordered to go. It's a 45 min to an hour drive home. Once I got home, put some in air fryer to warm up. It re heats very well.”

“great atmosphere for watching sports, great mix of music and awesome staff! we had Sasha as our server and she was very attentive, helpful, and so welcoming! We were looking for somewhere to watch the first half of Sunday football while eating time to go to the airport and this was the perfect spot!”

“Inspired cooking. My wife and I experienced a moment of utter sadness as we finished the last bite of the Tamale knowing there wasn’t more to eat. Needless to say - so delicious and wonderful service from Katelyn”

“This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.”

“I didn’t know how good Vegan food tasted until eating at Heal Mpls. The ambience is very comforting and peaceful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Good Vibes!!!”

“I initially visited this place when it first opened, and my experience wasn't impressive enough to make me return. However, with the positive reviews accumulating over the years, I decided to give it another try. I'm pleased to say that this time around, I was very satisfied. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the wait staff was attentive. Although the dining room was loud during our visit at a peak time, I won't let that deter me from returning. I'll simply choose a different time for my next visit.”
“The service here is amazing. The owner helped me make a 8 person reservation last minute. Shout out to all the crew. They seem to have a good system. Their wine ? sure was fun to learn about. I would definitely go back.”

“We were walking on the street to grab a small plate, and this restaurant was calling us in. Window seating, white modern decorations with a nice menu made us walk into the restaurant. We sat immediately, and people were friendly. I got duck tataki and a skin skewer. My partner got thigh and breast skewers. Because we ordered individually his skewers and mine came in different plates. Which was perfect because I didn't wanna share my seasoning or dipping sauce lol Every dish was prepared & cooked perfectly. So yummy. I wouldn't mind having the skin a little bit more crispy. However, I enjoyed what I got anyway. My eyes are still on squid ink pappardelle. I hope they will keep it on their menu until I come back to Minneapolis :) I also loved how they brought the check lol it's super cute”
“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! That meal was better than we could have ever expected!”
“Everything we’ve had from Nixta is just so good. More than once we’ve said “this is the best ______ I’ve ever had” about various menu items. Cant recommend enough.”
“We were a group of 14 and ordered almost everything on the menu. Honestly there were only hits, no misses! Everything was delicious. My personal favorites were the spring rolls, ribs and Balinese Chicken Thigh. For such a busy table our waiter was truly on top of his game! Fantastic restaurant, we already can’t wait to go back!”
“The restaurant is very beautiful. The space is fairly large and there are different coves for seating. There's also a decent size bar area. The restaurant is also very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was great and explained everything to us. He was also very knowledgeable about the food choices. I would say the food was just okay. Nothing really to rave about. I don't think there was a single thing we had that I could say was phenomenal. The portion sizes are small, but it's definitely good for a tapas style meal if you get enough. I would give this place a four out of five stars more so because of the great service.”
“I'm so glad I found this establishment due to Restaurant Week - We already can't wait to return! We loved our food - the flavors were amazing! Staff was so friendly! Service was top notch! The birria was sooo tasty - and we loved the Mocktails! Best churros in town!”
“Chole by Vincent fills a gaping void in the Twin Cities restaurant scene — French Traditional dishes, done to perfection, without feeling a need to have a “unique twist” or “fusion” element. Don’t get me wrong, those other kinds of restaurants can be good. But, when you want comfort food in an amazing environment, look no further than Chole. Our group had the French Onion soup and the daily special mushroom soup appetizers. Both of which were excellent. For mains, we had steak frites, cassoulet, the scallops, and a Vincent burger. Again, all excellent. Try it – you won’t regret it!”
“Such a great experience! I made reservations for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night. They sat us immediately and told us they saved us a booth. Then they made us a complimentary birthday drink. The food was delicious and drinks were good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will put this on our “restaurants list” for future fine dining options!”
“Heather's in Minneapolis is a favorite. It's that neighborhood joint everyone wants with great burgers, sandwiches, and salads, a great kids menu and twisty soft serve or cookies to keep the wee beings happy. But also that cozy date night spot with amazing daily specials and lovely grown up desserts on the patio. In practice, we usually order delivery (via Toast) and there's always a little tension between a dinner order (because THOSE SPECIALS!) or weekend brunch. We were able to do both today because they offered their daily special as part of their holiday brunch menu: lemon blueberry pancakes AND the ham special with asparagus and cheesy potatoes were both just amazing. ?Ordered pastries for week day breakfasts while I was at it but the delivery person missed the second bag or something. They made it right immediately - barely hung up the phone before the doorbell rang and a smiling, kind Heather's staffer was on my porch with a bag full of goodies. They just do EVERYTHING right.”
“Extremely friendly atmosphere and staff. Our server, Jackson, has the best personality. Being our first visit, he explained the ingredients and recommended to try different sauces which were great. We asked to speak with his manager and Danny was just as kind. It’s nice to see a manager supporting his team with pride.”
“We had the cheese pizza and it was very good. The only thing I found disconcerting, and in particular post or mid Covid depending on how you look at it, was that the servers were picking up dirty dishes, handling the mouth area of the glasses, forks, napkins and then serving food. With the automatic 20% tip they charge I would think they could have a dedicated dirty dish person and serving person separately.”
“My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!”
“I live in the neighborhood and have come for trivia a few times now. The tacos and nachos are delicious. I went specifically to try the Serrano Dona Fria Mexican Lager and was NOT disappointed. They also sell “You Betcha!” thc chocolate and their own thc seltzers. Excited to have them in our neighborhood and will be back for the Serrano!”
“I have a ton of food intolerances (nothing anaphylactic) and I rarely eat at restaurants because of it. I was so impressed with their willingness to help me find a meal I could eat! The manager himself stopped by to make sure they had the list of allergies correct before they placed the order. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! I didn't even think to take a picture, but I'll just say it was beautiful. :)Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating. I'm grain free, dairy free, nightshade free, legume free, and cant have most oils except for olive oil.”
“I got the 60/40 burger rare and chicken tenders with a hot dry rub, and it was cooked to my liking. I also got a Moscow Mule, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.Parking: There's a free parking lot but it doesn't have a lot of stalls. I had to park 2 blocks away and walk over. It wasn't a big deal but it would be less than ideal in the winter.”
“Incredible. Dynamic metro scene with a supper club attitude. Excellent food, top notch service. Don’t leave without trying a bite of the creme brûlée donut!”
“We truly enjoy our meal. Had the masa and salads, tempura shrimp tacos, sweet potatoes and tlayuda. They are were delicious. My drink (T&T) was fresh and complemented the meal perfectly. Service was very good.”
“My favorite eating place on the entire planet. If I could eat only one thing for the rest of my life, it would be their cabbage rolls. I usually have one for my main course and then one for dessert. Everything is fantastic. Kidding on the dessert thing. :)”

“There was an altercation while we were there and the staff handled it quickly and calmly. Service wasn’t too fast but they were down one person. They were very friendly. The poutine was excellent.Vegetarian options: They have vegan replacements for all their meats and can customize all the dishes. They use vegetable oil for frying.”
“These cookies were the best, most memorable gift I’ve ever given a client. They’re great for any occasion but I can’t recommend a better gift for a client or prospect for anyone in a sales/relationship business.”
“It’s was really nice, I stoped to go almost 4 months ago because they use to have a lot of homeless people disturbing and smoking, and the don’t have that’s any more and everything was really cleanBtw the crew it’s really ”
“I went through the drive-thru as usual. I ordered ahead of time so I don't have to wait. I don't know about the inside, but service is usually okay. I never get a hello or goodbye, though, but the food is always pretty good. I never give fast food five stars. They have awesome frosties, and I love their strawberry lemonade . If you get the app, you can get some pretty good deals. I got a $5 sandwich for a dollarParking: 1 way in & 1 way out entrance plus the drive-through entrance. I'm not sure maybe 6-10 parking spots.”
“Fastest Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. I had issues with the app, it took about 15 min to figure out. That line backed up about 7 or 8 cars deep about 3 or 4 times. But they cleared it out fast. If it was anywhere else there would be pissed off customers a few city blocks long. They got my confusing order right too.”
“The wait time was crazy, but I understand that it is due to them being short-staffed. Nonetheless, the food was hot and the server still had a smile on her face. Nothing bad to say about the place.”
“A very good experience with the employees, all very friendly and especially a girl named Adriana, very smiling... It's good that they serve you with that attitudeKid-friendliness: They have a place for children to play... I loved it”
“I was there this evening and my food had been sitting for sometime and I had been waiting longer than 12 minutes so one of the employees asked what my mobile order # was and remade my order and handed it to me. I thanked him greatly and was truly impressed with his can do attitude and work ethic to make it right for the client even though I had not asked for it. I am truly appreciative of the whole process and like at White Castle, specifically that location differently.”
“Get your D here for as little as $1 (those any size fries are calling). I like to wrap my mouth around a Big Mac and my Any Size Fry (in the large variety). Slurp some Iced Caramel Macchiatto for a mouth-watering time. Check back in later that day for some McChicken and McNuggets (some McLovin' for you, but not that kind). So overall, a 4/5 experience.”
“Woke up grumpy, went to get my son a burrito as he requested… Paul from the Hiawatha location was such a pleasant surprise! He was so cheerful, he instantly started my day off in the right way! Food was hot and fresh- definitely will be going there more mornings now- most people are just not polite, nice anymore- so to have such an amazing interaction the first thing in the morning was just what I needed! Paul deserves a raise! 10 out of 10! I’ll be back!Kid-friendliness: He even gave my son a Burger King hat! So cute!”
“Eating McDonald's for lunch can be a convenient and affordable option. The menu offers a variety of choices, from burgers to salads. However, it is important to note that McDonald's food is often high in calories, unhealthy fats, and sodium. Regular consumption may contribute to weight gain and health issues. Additionally, the fast-food chain has faced criticism for its sourcing practices and environmental impact. It is advisable to consume McDonald's in moderation and opt for healthier options when available.”

“We eat a lot of South Asian food, and Spice & Tonic has some of the best we’ve had in the Twin Cities area! The tandoori chicken was delicious and exceptionally moist, while the chicken curry was flavorful. Plus, the prices were reasonable. Inside, the decor was lovely and the staff friendly and fast. We highly recommend it!”

“Great local establishment that has been there for many years absolutely Great food and staff if you're in a rush don't bother almost always a line but don't let that deter you”
“I ordered a king cake to take in to work- without a doubt the best one I’ve had, it melts in your mouth! The staff was exceptionally friendly and offered an extra cup of frosting. Great environment if you’re just looking for a place in Minneapolis to sit down with a cup of coffee and a treat too!”
“Amazing breakfast!! We love trying small diners (ordering our staple breakfasts for fair comparison) whenever we travel & Al’s didn’t disappoint! The hash browns are phenomenal & remind me of potatoes my grandma used to make. The staff is friendly & the atmosphere is perfect.”
“The one that only locally grown locally raised locally licked clean bowls . Every time a new flavor up on the board I have not had a bad one I've had over half of these choices I just had the cherry and vanilla phenomenal. I got a pint of grapefruit sorbet holy moly.”

“I can't say enough about how amazing Francis is! Outstanding food and drinks! They have the BEST Spicy Margarita that I have EVER had! Their drink menu has so many cool and unique cocktails that are different from any I have had before. Then there is the food...I literally think about the Chicken Sandwich daily. My daughter went 3 times the first week they were open, and continues to go weekly! There isn't an item in the menu that I've tried that is anything less than AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone tries it! You definitely do NOT need to be a vegan to love this food. Trust me, TRY IT! You'll love it and will ABSOLUTELY be back for more!Vegetarian options: The entire menu, including drinks, is vegan. No meat or dairy products, so perfectly suitable for vegetarians!”
“Loved it! Tiny space but great food. I had the chicken wrap and vegan Mac n cheese —- sooo good! Hubby got a fried chicken bucket w ranch and a pumpkin pie smoothie that was also amazing.”
“Our go-to take out spot! Regular order: Spinach pie, Daily special with tabouli and baked kibbi, and baba ghannuj. Best tabouli in town, and you can’t leave without a spinach pie. The staff is always so friendly.”
“This will become a "MUST GO TO" anytime I'm in Minneapolis. I just loved Lutunji instantly, her service, coffee and food was superior and you felt instantly like family.”
“Delicious food! We shared multiple entrees and loved everything. Great service. They were so kind and we celebrated a birthday so they brought us dessert with a candle. Thank you Curry Corner! We will be back ?Kid-friendliness: We did everything family style which was great for the kids!”
“Grabbed a late lunch here with a few friends before a concert and it was so delicious! It's a make-line style build your own type of restaurant and the line workers pushed the line through at a good speed. I ordered a steak bowl which had a good ratio of meat to toppings.I wish I could have gotten a margarita, me and one of my friends were bummed because one of the main reasons we came was to try the frozen margaritas. Yet they were out of it completely.. There are also canned seltzers but I opted for a limeade that was tart and refreshing. I was also in awe of the beautiful artwork and snapped a quick pic of my favs.Vegetarian options: Friendly for meat lovers and veggie lovers”

“Whoa, all those suggestions are weird. IE has been our favorite place since they opened. The service is always good, the food is always good. It’s a little bit upscale but we regularly bike there so I never particularly care what I wear. Cocktails are good. Amari is really good.”
“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.”
“Everyone was friendly from the moment we walked in. Our waitress, Taylor, was attentive, and had great recommendations. The food was delicious, as were the drinks! We will absolutely be back.”
“The beer is very good, and it's one of my favorite tap room venues in the city. It's in an old factory (plane wing manufacturing?) with the cranes still in the rafters. Fantastic semi-covered outdoor space, cornhole/bean-bag toss, several tables, and an overpriced food truck.Update several years later: still one of the best atmospheres in the metro. Family and dog friendly. Open air, huge patio, great food trucks.”
“Love our neighborhood walk up Dairy Queen! Great place to sit outside with the kids and have a treat. The owner is very friendly and remembers us. I have never had a bad experience here.Lots of construction on Lake Street this summer (2023), but it's open for business and always delicious.”
“northeast Palace is a hidden gem in Northeast Minneapolis. Every night there's a different venue of music and the food is great. Don't turn down a chance to have a wonderful evening and a great experience!”
“Walk up DQ! There's nothing better on a warm evening. NGL, I get DQ when it's cold out too. This location has all the charm of an old school neighborhood DQ and a hard working crew of young people. The customers reflect the neighborhood. Diverse and friendly. They have a parking lot.”
“If I lived in the area, I’d be here often. They know what they’re doing in every aspect. The service, food quality, location, atmosphere are all top notch. I almost forgot to mention the beer which is excellent”
“Hannah did an absolutely wonderful job today (Feb. 13th, 2024) taking my order and preparing my beverage. She was extremely, kind, helpful and professional. Your team absolutely needs more employees like her! That being said, the store was clearly understaffed. I got the feeling Hannah was a little flustered (by no fault of her own).Usually, there are at least two employees working the shop. However, today there was only one. It's rather unfair to dump all the tasks on one individual AND have them provide such exemplary customer service. Please strongly consider hiring more staff to help employees like Hannah!”
“They serve one of the most satisfying coffees I have tried. I was there every single day for a whole week while I was visiting Minneapolis. I tried different coffees on their menu and they were all good. And the best part is that they are not charging ridiculously high prices for mediocre coffee like most coffee shops do. You can tell the freshness of coffee beans. I wish they were in the mid west too.”
“This place is the most beautiful Caribou I have ever seen with an amazing view of Lake Superior!? I remember back in December I had fallen while opening the door and one of the workers (very athletic and sweet!) jumped the counter and swept me off of the floor. The other workers came to my aid. After this amazing act they gave me a free drink! The other costumers cheered and yip-yip-hoorayed in excitement and I tipped a whopping 20 bucks! I have many nice experiences here like the time someone had an accident and a worker cleaned it up with no complaints. Highly recommended!?”
“There are many many many coffee houses in Minneapolis. I come here solely because of the great staff. Friendly and hard working. It’s important for the staff to engage with customers. It keeps them coming back. I am usually there in the morning and am helped by Adam, Emily , Drew and Cassie. The staff is why I frequent this DB. I hope the owner appreciates their hard work”
“Good place my step daughter is having trouble with speaking shes has a lisps when she speaks and so am trying to teach her its ok to take a second and gather her self so she can speak as best she can and to feel comfortable speaking in public and the casher working that day was awesome at understanding her and most of all having patient some times that's all it takes is a lil patienceKid-friendliness: Great servers working hard, being very professional an awesome”
“I see we have some people complaining about prices but it’s not the businesses fault. The economy is bad and they can’t really control it. Back to the review! The place is very nice, neat and the location is convenient. As always they are fast with making your coffee.”
“Parking: Parking in the morning on weekdays can be tough, but you will almost always find a spot. What's tough is trying to maneuver in and out of the cramped lot.”

Fine Dining
“We had a great time starting my birthday celebrations! The service was amazing - Our server Chris is professional, personalble and made sure that we were satisfied. Loved her! The manager was our impromptu photographer lol I love the ambiance- great for any occasion. We will be back. ✨✨”
“Beautiful space; the food was wonderful and love the creative twists to traditional Mediterranean dishes. The staff are attentive and even got to meet and celebrate their Chef de Cuisine, Thony Yang. It was an honor to celebrate a talented young chef. Thank you so much for being in our neighborhood!”
“Absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and merideth was knowledgeable and had such a great personality. The food…absolutely incredible!”
“What an experience, I wanted to splurge my better half of 22yrs and booked our 22nd anniversary dinner here last September. (late on the review)Food: Both our stakes were cooked to perfection, the bread plate is something to look forward to and the recommended wine was perfectly matched to our entrees.Service: The service it self will make you want to come back, the minute you walk in you are being greeted and complimented. Every person that we spoke to wished us a happy anniversary, they even had heart confetti spread out on our table (did not look tacky at all). At the end of dinner they brought out a complimentary desert plate. I am not at all a desert kind of person but the cheesecake that they had was something I continue to think about and will most certainly will not forget. For a couple that can't do these extravagant outings all the time, it was an experience we will never forget.Thank you all for the great service and for making us feel so welcomed and not at allout of place.”
“Incredible setting with amazing service… loved the part where they show different meat cuts and the size they are serving!!Ordered Double Porterhouse, Roasted Bone Marrow, Sautéed Mushrooms, Glazed Sprouts, and creamed garlic spinach among three people. The portion was filling and the meat was juicy and super delicious.”
“This is a unique and fantastic dining experience that, for the right group or person, will provide a meal/night out you won't forget. There's just too much here to cover in one review, but if you love Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine, are open to a curated food adventure from a talented chef and incredibly hospitable host, and want to enjoy the warmth of a good meal in a comfortable home setting with the ease and pacing of a few hours to relish and delight in, then you're a great fit for this evening.Vegetarian options: Outside of the main course you'll find the other courses mostly vegetarian, and the host seems open to accommodating dietary restrictions or requests.Dietary restrictions: The host was very open to understanding people's dietary restrictions or allergies, but considering this is a set menu, you'll need to do your part and be upfront ahead of time.”
“The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the service was nothing short of extraordinary. Justin, our server, was a delight! He helped make for a wonderful and full evening!”
“Shige-san was fantastic! It was such an amazing experience. Each dish was nicely explained, what it was, consisted of and where it came from. Little facts that we didn't even know. It was such a joy to converse and learn about Shige-san and his passion. The atmosphere was phenomenal and felt so traditional. The Blue-fin Tuna was exceptional along with the Wagyu. Sitting at the Chefs table is a must-do experience that everyone has to try. Getting to know these chefs and their passion is something you'll never forget! Thank you for making my husband's birthday one he will remember! We will be back!”
“I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.”
“I was fortunate enough to experience the Tuesday night 10 course kaiseki seasonal tasting menu. Each course was beautifully presented and expressed authentic Japanese flavors and textures that reflected the spring season. The staff were attentive and accommodating. For example, noticing that my wife was left handed the staff set up her table setting to reflect that. That has happened to her only one other time. A small thing for sure, but reflective of the care and attention to detail that was put into everything. Kaiseki Furukawa provides an elegant dining experience from the dinnerware to interior design. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”
“Located on second level (skyway). They recently reopened after the pandemic without Caribou Coffee. I have enjoyed the bagels, lemonade, and fast service. Download their app for free coffee or bagel with purchase.”
“Everything was great except they gave me the wrong cupcake with my order and I didn't know u til I got home because they were packaged up. Other than that, everything was good.”
“As a caribbean person now living in the Twin Cities this is an authentic taste of home. Everything from Chana Kitchen is good, but the Roti and Doubles transport me back to the islands. They are also a great catering partner, I hired them for my event and it was seemless, everyone was raving about the food!”
Cheap Eats
“Such a sweet place! Gluten free items are wonderful, I don't feel I have to compromise taste or texture be gluten free. The staff are amazing, super friendly and informative.”

“Hole in the wall coffee shop with exceptional flavor. The staff were so friendly and conversational! Exactly what your looking for when trying to find good small business coffee.”
“The Cocktails were delicious, creative, fabulous! The bartenders were very friendly and answered every question we could ask. The decor was so classy. We can't wait to go back.”
“Amazing carrot cake cupcakes! No nuts or raisins (this place is fantastic for folks with a nut allergy!) I love that the cupcakes are the traditional size and not those super-sized ones. Snoopy bars are soooo good! So many wonderful things to try--I'll be back!”
“A must visit in the north loop! Great beer! Amazing people! The perfect place to visit before a twins game or any day really… Cory, thank you for the hospitality. I look forward to coming back soon!”
“The food was amazing! We had the vegetarian plate and wine. The food was totally authentic, and the service was personable and homey. Authentic music and video enhance the experience. I will be back!”
“This is by far one of my favorite places to eat! Food is amazing and they remember you! Today I walked in after being away for six months due to Covid and even with my mask on, they said hi to me by name. Wow!”
“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.”
“Went in today and I forgot to catch his name, but the gentleman was delightful. Friendly and extremely pleasant. Wonderful customer service. The ice cream was delicious too! Will be back.”
“Stopped in to Cosmic Coffee the other morning on a whim, and believe I just may have found my new favorite coffee shop in NE. Cosmic Coffee feels like an old school coffee shop, the ones that were about people connecting with people. Actual real live PEOPLE!!! Not only was the coffee delicious- expertly prepared by Dusty-but it was so refreshing to be around people laughing, conversing and connecting not just working away on laptops. If you want a great cup of coffee in a cozy, warm space of brick, wood and eclectic decor that does not feel like a sterile white hipster tech haven, please please give Cosmic a visit! And I recommend a lavender mocha!!”
“Months later and I cannot stop thinking about this place! I had tonkotsu. Broth was the stand out for me. Everything else had there place though. It's worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. 10/10 do recommend.”
“I went today and tried the wings and soul fries they were great we drove all the way from lakeville Mn and for sure will he going back to try other things on the menu”
“Great vibe, great place, great croissants!!Kid-friendliness: The cafe is almost always full, but pretty kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: The cafe doesn't have enough area inside to move around on a wheelchair, but its accessible”
“I was in Minneapolis for a show and wanted sushi. So glad I found this place!! The restaurant is beautiful inside and has a very nice outdoor patio with lots of umbrellas for shade. The food was fantastic!! I had sushi and got a tuna poke bowl to go. I’ll definitely be back for the Tibetan Momo!! If you haven’t been to Momo Sushi you need to check it out!!”
“AMAZING SERVICE, WONDERFUL atmosphere, well priced, FANTASTIC FLAVORS, serving portions as expected for tapas. Two of us ordered about 8 dishes and shared gor dinner, we were stuffed - could have had only 6 but wanted to try so many bcuz they were so tempting by descriptions, and they met all expectations!! They accommodated our dietary restrictions without hassle. If we lived here, we'd be regulars!!”
“The food was amazing! We had the vegetarian plate and wine. The food was totally authentic, and the service was personable and homey. Authentic music and video enhance the experience. I will be back!”
Enjoy!”
“I'm so glad I found this establishment due to Restaurant Week - We already can't wait to return! We loved our food - the flavors were amazing! Staff was so friendly! Service was top notch! The birria was sooo tasty - and we loved the Mocktails! Best churros in town!”
“This is by far one of my favorite places to eat! Food is amazing and they remember you! Today I walked in after being away for six months due to Covid and even with my mask on, they said hi to me by name. Wow!”
“Very happy to have a good sushi and Ramen restaurant nearby! My test of a good sushi place is freshness of the scallop sashimi and it did not disappoint. We also had cream cheese wonton and tempura appetizers that were both very good - light and crispy!”
“Loved it! Tiny space but great food. I had the chicken wrap and vegan Mac n cheese —- sooo good! Hubby got a fried chicken bucket w ranch and a pumpkin pie smoothie that was also amazing.”
“One of our favorite places in Minneapolis -- Everything is always delicious, their wine knowledge is top notch, and the space has a great vibe. Highly recommended!”
“First off, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The value is great. With that said, the wait staff was very pushy; if the chef left this place wouldn’t be worth a thing.”
“We went to George and the Dragon, and we loved it. The food was delicious, and the place had a nice, pleasant ambience. They could charge a lot more for the food, and we will definitely be back.”
“Delicious food! We shared multiple entrees and loved everything. Great service. They were so kind and we celebrated a birthday so they brought us dessert with a candle. Thank you Curry Corner! We will be back ?Kid-friendliness: We did everything family style which was great for the kids!”
“Wow, I have been looking for a great Indian place in the area, and I've found it! I had ordered takeout from here a few years ago and thought it was good, but Chef Latish obviously has done a lot of work to improve the scope of the menu and the flavors. As a vegetarian, I also appreciate their very large selection of options. My buddy and I ordered the aloo mattar (very good) and the malai kofta (truly outstanding!) and we can't wait to go back! Thank you for the delicious food!”
“This is just a fantastic place! It's been one of my top places in Minneapolis for at least a decade and never fails to disappoint. It strikes a nice balance of being classic and fresh. With the bonus of having stellar food and service. Somehow I still think it's underrated with all the restaurant opening up. But if you want a top-tier place that never fails to disappoint, hit up the eatery!PS The butterscotch budino continues to be my favorite dessert.”
“Our go-to take out spot! Regular order: Spinach pie, Daily special with tabouli and baked kibbi, and baba ghannuj. Best tabouli in town, and you can’t leave without a spinach pie. The staff is always so friendly.”
“Dining here was an absolute joy for my husband and me. Every bite of the authentic and delicious food transported us to the heart of Nepal. Savoring the flavors under the outdoors, covered patio alongside a refreshing Nepali beer was perfection. Above all, the hospitality surpassed all expectation. The owner made us feel like we were being welcomed home! He shared his homemade pickled aachar and homemade tomato spicy aachar which was so kind of him. Trust me, a visit here is not just a meal, it's an unforgettable and genuine memory. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!”
“I was in Minneapolis for a show and wanted sushi. So glad I found this place!! The restaurant is beautiful inside and has a very nice outdoor patio with lots of umbrellas for shade. “Whoa, all those suggestions are weird. IE has been our favorite place since they opened. The service is always good, the food is always good. It’s a little bit upscale but we regularly bike there so I never particularly care what I wear. Cocktails are good. Amari is really good.”
“Friendly service in a fun atmosphere. The food arrives incredibly fast. The flavors are fresh and vibrant. Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts and the Cubano Arepa”
“Had a wonderful family dinner at Zelo last night Service great Food and wine wonderful Round table great to catch up with family members in from out of town with on a cold MN January evening”
“Warm, friendly staff, incredible flavors, wonderful atmosphere, all for a fantastic cause. Truly kickass fries. Add chicken to the basil pesto (or ask staff for their other customization ideas… they helped me, a notoriously indecisive diner, craft the perfect sandwich). Jerk sandwich was great too—it’s got a kick to it for sure.”
“From the moment I reserved for a large group (8) here we were taken care of! 10/10 customer service from booking to finishing our meal. Our waitress even split appetizers on the checks and was perfect for providing the best experience possible.Food was ok, just wish there were more offerings. Very greasy cuban but Brussel sprouts were amazing and had a decent amount. The violet drink was pretty good but others at the table didn't think their drinks were strong/tasted like straight up juice.Vibe was great!”
“The food was delicious, the staff super friendly, cozy environment, fair prices, highly recommend ?Parking: You cam park in the back of the restaurant, very convenient.”
“I was in Minneapolis for a weekend and chose Hen House because it was near our hotel. This was one of the best breakfasts I think I have genuinely ever eaten. We ordered an apple cinnamon roll that was made in house that melted in your mouth. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant roll (also made in house) that was to die for. It is clear the restaurant has a focus on fresh, quality food. Now that I am not in Minneapolis I literally dream about this place. 10/10 Hen House”
“Food is excellent, top notch Mexican-American breakfast cuisine. Service is quick and polite, free refills of good coffee. Ambiance is classic modern breakfast cafe, no surprises. Been a long time since last I visited Fat Nats, a Twin Cities landmark. Frankly, I forgot how good it is. Get here early, or be prepared to wait in line - but not too long, since they have lots of tables, and they work fast, making tons of food every day. Fat Nats is locally famous for their pancakes, which have extra vanilla and above average taste of yeast. They also make a variety of egg dishes, some delivered with their house salsa, which is a peppy, chunky red delight. They also have a green salsa, a blended tongue warmer. Don't get either if you don't like spicy heat. I love spicy heat. Prices without coffee are under $15, and you might need a container for half of it. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure. Great food, great place to eat.”
“amazing deep dish vegan pizza with cheap drinks, what's not to love?Vegetarian options: can sub vegan cheese on pizzas, meat-free toppingsDietary restrictions: great for vegans & vegetarians”
“The atmosphere was unexpectedly awesome. The perfect place to grab lunch and do an assignment on the couch. The music is always awesome too. I got the Thai Chicken Curry banh mi and it was delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and crispy. The staff was super helpful and nice. 10/10 all around!”
“Sad that it took me 9 years living in the area to stop by. Hadn't known about the place until searching today. The food was great. Multiple items on the menu I wanted to try (but provides opportunity to come back). I had the Carnitas omelet, which was great. My wife had the gluten free pancakes which tasted very good as well (I thought the syrup was a bit too sweet, but I think that might be how actual maple syrup is and just not what I'm used to). Food was excellent. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Seems to have some good accessible gluten-free options.”
“Ok, this place is awesome. Usually I find it difficult to go to a place with both stellar food and atmosphere, but they’ve done it. Would DEFINITELY eat here again.”
“They have great customer service. I was impressed by their attention to cleanliness and freshness of the food. So far all I have tried are their burritos, which were tasty”
“The birria ramen is in a class by itself. I dined at the Uptown location and the food was excellent and the service was great. Even with a language barrier we worked it out! Good service is at an all-time low so it was refreshing to be treated w such kindness and consideration. Thanks and we'll be back!”
“Absolutely phenomenal food and experience. Our server Louis was beyond amazing as he took the time to explain the dishes, cocktails, and so much more. Hat's off!Speaking of dishes, the bison tartare was increibly good, but we were blown away by the flavor of the duck ragu in the Torchietti. We had it made gluten-free to accommodate my wife's dietary needs, and the pasta was still delicious! We didn't stop there, adding an order of the pork chop for me and Alaskan halibut for my wife. The flavor profile on the pork chop dish was insanely big, bold, and wonderful. It was such a contrast to the halibut, which was also wonderful but much more delicate. Both were great. We were stuffed. There was no room for dessert, but since we had let it be known we were out celebrating a special event, we were not to leave without a wonderful little celebration treat. It was much appreciated! Our seating was at the Chef's Counter, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It gave us witness to all the incredible work going on in the kitchen as well as all the dishes that were getting prepped. TheDietary restrictions: My wife is gluten-free, and not only do they accommodate this with some of their dishes they go above and beyond to communicate between the waiter and kitchen about the dietary needs. This shows up starting with bread basket modifications, moves into extra tasting bites supplied to us from the head chef, and follows through to all our entrees and special desserts. Phenomenal staff coordination and cooperation.”
“It is the best place to find the Indian food. We are traveling from Chicago to Minnesota on the weekend and this restaurant is the best spot to enjoy the morning breakfast dosa and Chola bhatura . Ambience, Taste, quality and quantity all are five out of five. God bless , running very good business and giving the best customer service as well. Must try one time.”
“We had this pizza last night at my sister in law's birthday party. The pizza was delivered quickly and was delicious! Perfect crust and good quality, generous toppings; baked to perfection.”
“This place is INCREDIBLE. they’ve been open for just a month or so and I’ve eaten there at least 15 to 20 times. The service is awesome, the staff is super friendly, I don’t know about you but great service and friendly staff is part of a good dining experience, and Rollicious has it all. I was there today and am trying the Nori and rice for the first, I’m very excited. I will be back to try some of the other menu items.”
“The Cocktails were delicious, creative, fabulous! The bartenders were very friendly and answered every question we could ask. The decor was so classy. We can't wait to go back.”
“I’m not vegan (but my sister is) and I absolutely loved the food here!! I tried the regular mac and cheese, onion rings, ranch, bbq pork, cookie, and strawberry mango lemonade. I only got a picture of the lemonade because I dug in right away because it was so tasty. The flavors were delicious across the board we all loved what we ate, the people running the restaurant were so kind and explained things we had questions on, we had a large group and they were very accommodating, and I can’t speak highly enough about this experience. I don’t live in Minneapolis, but I will be back for this restaurant because wow absolutely phenomenal!!Vegetarian options: All options are vegetarian and vegan!Dietary restrictions: Perfect for people with egg, dairy, and meat allergies as everything is vegan.”
“One of my favorite fine dining places in the Twin Cities. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing, light, open, airy, and in the summer fresh breezy air. On my most recent visit our server was probably one of the best servers I've had at any restaurant. So attentive (and patient of our big indecisive group). And even had a whole lighting production set up to take a group photo for us. It's truly just such a lovely experience. Then of course the food is absolutely phenomenal. The flavors are so rich and complex, but it all just feels so simple and warming. I forgot to take pictures of a couple things, the basil wings and our dessert were both great as well. There is also an incredible non-alcoholic cocktail list! It can get pricy, but it is 100% worth the value.”
“This place is great.Great food, that is fast and delicious. They have vegetarian options that have an intricate balance of flavors. The staff are all extremely helpful and welcoming.I had the ultimate sandwich and my wife had the loaded tots! Certainly recommend both!Check this place out for some awesome food and wonderful atmosphere.”
“Amazing Mac n cheese, chicken tenders & waffle fries!! And extra props for being dog friendly! My pup got treats & his own water bowl to drink from! Clean rest rooms too! Our waiter was absolutely amazing!!”
“A must visit in the north loop! Great beer! Amazing people! The perfect place to visit before a twins game or any day really… Cory, thank you for the hospitality. I look forward to coming back soon!”
“Incredible and delicious food. The sweet potatoes (yes, sweet potatoes) might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The short rib bao is delicious. Fried chicken is perfection.”
“came last night. AJ gave us the best service and cocktails I've ever had in this location!! And the owner was there atv11pm rolling silverware! keep it up guys. nice work!!”
“Great little find. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the drinks and alcohol they are serving. They even have a selection of spirit free drinks that taste amazing! As a person who does not drink, it is great to find a place that actually makes true cocktails without spirits. Will be back.”
“I had not been to Little T’s since the change in ownership and man was I blown way! We arrived around 7 pm with a large group and got a table right away. Our server, Sara, was super attentive, charming and very helpful. The drinks were delivered fast as was water for everyone. Our drinks were strong and delicious but the food is what really makes this place killer! We tried everything on the starters menu and each plate was flavorful with distinct and unique combinations. The cauliflower was incredible! The smash burger was so good that everyone at the table had to taste it. The atmosphere is delightful as well. I can’t rave enough about our experience at Little Tijuana’s!!!Vegetarian options: There is something for everyone!”
“We had a wonderful experience at India Kutir. This was the best Indian food I have had. I had the Salmon Tikka Masala my husband had the lamb Vindaloo. We also had some appetizers and garlic naan with our meals. This was the first time to try salmon in the tikka masala and it was amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked and was complimented by the sauce. The vegetable pakora had a perfectly flaky and delicious crust the inside was full of spiced potatoes and peas. I cannot say enough good things about this place! It’s unfortunate that I am 2 hours away.”
“The best Ethiopian food and service I've had so far in the Twin Cities and I've been here almost ten years. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Very flavorful vegetarian optionsParking: It's a big parking lot in the backKid-friendliness: Family friendly”
“It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in Minneapolis. The atmosphere and service are standard brewpub. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy. The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.”
“My daughter's wedding was this weekend and we had the food catered from Zakia Deli! This is a family owned and operated business that was started by Issa's mother 40+ years ago! They are the most helpful, friendly and welcoming people you will ever know! We received so many compliments on the food and wanted to pass it along to the family and all of our friends!! The food was REMARKABLE and the experience was 1st Class! If you have an event or just want to grab some lunch, stop in and say hello to Issa and his family! The hospitable, gracious and warm hearts will be felt immediately! That and the food will keep you coming back! Thank you again Issa and family!!! #ZakiaDeli #FamilyBusiness #LocalFood #APlusHospiatlity”
“This place has been in my list of places to try for some time now. Happened to find myself in the area, and decided to go and try it. Servers are amazing! They know their menu, and are glad to give any recommendations. They recommended their Tex-Mex Breakfast Burrito, and it was fantastic! I will definitely eat here again!”
“The food was good, maybe not up to all the hype for cheese inside a burger with a very ordinary bun, but the grilled diced onions were one of a kind and made up for a lot. Kinda wish they served fountain beverages instead of cans (for the refills)”
“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.”
“I love the ambiance at this place. It's great for both date nights and/or group fine dining experience. My favorite is their Salsa sampler/flight. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side but I'd say it's pretty worth it. Great service too.”
“Voted the best burger in the cities, the Mac & Cheese with chicken is my absolute favorite. But the chicken teriyaki bowl is incredible also!! Don’t get me started on the desserts, the cookies, I can’t leave without grabbing one of those. The best you will find!Basically pick anything on the menu and you will love it!”
“Service beyond compare. Food fantastic. Place is nostalgic for me and it didn’t disappoint my husband who had never been. An icon of the community that needs to stay forever. Definitely worth a visit.”

“ordered online on way there last minute on drive from out of town to a destination far away ?⛄ sure beats fast food quality a little more expensive expected because vegetarian/vegan but it was really good food okay? that's how I'm justifying it,and i wanna support places like this with quality customers the kind you want to hug because they're so nice and friendly. oh on the phone the girl i was talking to was very knowledgeable about the menu with great suggestions for my and my friend on a trip ya know how girls take awhile to decide sometimes? well this worked great ??? was able to get order in before we even got there and was practically no wait because of our good timing 30min away when picking up our order the restaurant wasn't cram packed so you could still get a table but was definitely full of hungry people in the know about the quality veggiefoods and the atmosphere was nice people like a bar ? where they know your name and share their stories over a delicious ?? ? snack (cheers) anyways I'll have to return soon before they run out of my favorite ?❤️Vegetarian options: they have burgers fries salads Tacos a whole lot more with fun namesDietary restrictions: okay so they're really good at vegan options and dietary restriction just ask or let em know and they'll have a yummy solution for your hunger ❤️Parking: spots were loaded but i still found a space for a shortstop and then opened it back up in 15m or less just grabbed my food and went but i know parking ?️ within walking distance was there i just wanted to be as close as possible since was picking up only... probably 3 ? pickup drop off spots front side and then parking around back or sidesteet people being polite to leave the closest ones for the people being there the shortest time is really nice ?? and everyone staying longer to really enjoy taking a "brutally mild"? walk to the door from the better parking in back ? some have a hard time going as far as the mailbox is what i mean but anyways yes there's parking”

“One of my new fav pizza places! The food was AMAZING. So many delicious options for pizzas and starters - the olives were amazing, and came with a side of rosemary bread that was delicious. The service was really wonderful too. We came with a fairly large group of people, and they never once made us feel like a pain or anything. They offered to move tables for us and were so helpful and kind when we needed them. Can’t wait to go back when the patio is open!”
“Months later and I cannot stop thinking about this place! I had tonkotsu. Broth was the stand out for me. Everything else had there place though. It's worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. 10/10 do recommend.”

“This is as good as a McDonald's its going to be. It has plugins to charge your phone, it's not all crowded, and they don't rush you outta there all fast. And the workers aren't all in your business.”
“The wait time was crazy, but I understand that it is due to them being short-staffed. Nonetheless, the food was hot and the server still had a smile on her face. Nothing bad to say about the place.”
“Came here for the first time last weekend and super glad I did! The bar itself is super cute, it has a very chill and cozy vibe to it. We would definitely return! Great bar to hang out .”
“We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was hot and delicious. I tried pasta with Rosa sauce and it was very good. They have a create your own pasta menu, as well as many classic Italian dishes. Service was excellent. They also have a cute little outdoor area, so we will be excited to try that out next summer! I would highly recommend Nonna Rosa's.”

“A friend and I visited on 4/20 and enjoyed the Carne Asada con Camarones, as well as margaritas. The drinks leaned a little sweet but they were fine margs. The food was phenomenal—hands down one of my favorite food experiences in Minneapolis. My friend said it was like a good home cooked meal; I have to agree. Filling, tasty, and comforting.”
“Best fish I’ve had in the cities. I’ve gone the last 2 days in a row and it was amazing. The second day I picked up it was a little soggy, when I got home I popped it in the microwave oven for a couple minutes on 450Degrees and it crisped right up. So so good”

“Mariann was the BEST!! This was our 1st time here and she was so nice and patient.Be careful when you bite into the inferno burger!! The cheese went everywhere ? Good burger though.Warm Greens Grain bowl with Mojo pork added. Walleye bites for an appetizer and a peanut butter cup, ice cream and a complimentary brownie from the staff. They even have a photo booth. We had a great time here.”
“Awesome place. Awesome vibe. Awesome staff. Awesome food (stuffed salmon and jambalaya). Awesome time.We will be back for sure. I'll remember to get some photos and post an update. This is the 2nd time we've been her, 1st where we got food.Delicious.”
“First time there this weekend. Highly recommend. Great food. The best part was the waiter who serviced our table. It was so refreshing to have a person waiting on our table with patience, a sense of humor and a concern about how we were enjoying our meals. Dominic made the experience 100 percent better than what it may have been. Our group can not thank you enough Dominic to adding to an amazing time.”
“I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.”
“First time here and a great experience! Super cool place, awesome decor and environment. Overall felt very upscale but not pretentious, service was fantastic by all. Everyone was very courteous and polite, very attentive. Drink and food times were quite quick.Food was delicious, had Chicken and Avocado Eggrolls for an appetizer, steak and walleye entrees then a cookies and cream cake for dessert. Steaks were cooked just right, meal additions were handled accurately, everything was delicious, plus portion sizes did not lack, we all happily struggled to finish our plates. They surprised our daughter with a candle for fun which she was sooo excited about.”
“Casual seafood restaurant. Beautiful outdoor seating available. Many happy hour/ lunch specials are available and affordable.I had the lobster roll and off the special menu a fried cod fish taco. The (cold style) lobster roll was beautiful and packed with meat, served with really good Frenchfries. Although I felt it was a bit bland, I would order it again. I would try the hot one next time. It is pricey, they usually are. It was 32.00. The fish taco was great! (5.00 no sides lunch special)My service was great. I didn't catch his name but he was very pleasant.Parking: It was difficult for me to get close parking, there was a lot kind of near. I'm not sure if it was free. Eventually I parked in a paid street spot very close.Kid-friendliness: It's not a kids' place. But I could see on the inside it comfortable to have lunch there in the booth area with them. It is a big bar atmosphere with many high tops. So those aren't ideal. If the weather is good, outside seating would be better.”
“We only had drinks and dessert, and they were amazing. Definitely will be back for a full meal. Great atmosphere and staff. Glad they have valet as parking was nearly impossible otherwise.”
“The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is out of this world, and the service was nothing short of extraordinary. Justin, our server, was a delight! He helped make for a wonderful and full evening!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I made a reservation, and my party of 2 was seated immediately and had a great waitstaff. We had sake, o-toro Bluefin sashimi, the Silly Billy roll (pictured and favorite), and a supreme combo. Everything was delicious and inspired me to return again to try more of their amazing creations!”
“Absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and merideth was knowledgeable and had such a great personality. The food…absolutely incredible!”
“The place has a lovely quaint french decor, there's blue velvet wall booth, the walls are covered with french blue toile wallpaper and there are brass accents everywhere. I was there for brunch and the food was great; I had the biscuits and gravy with their house potatoes and it was delicious, the potatoes come with a dipping cream fresh sauce that I wish it came in a pint size My friend had the eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce was homemade and it looked very tasty. The server kept checking on us frequently even though the place was packed. The one thing I was disappointed about was how loud it was, it was extremely difficult to have a conversation, so if you are planing on coming here to catch up with friends, this might not be the place.”
“We had a very good experience at The Newsroom. We went before attending The Lion King at the Orpheum. We had a very helpful and attentive waiter. We ordered red wine, wings (with plum sauce) that were delicious and a special - the Gobbler turkey sandwich. The sandwhich was good but the house fries that came with it were very tasty. We liked the menu - a wide selection and many items that we wanted to try. We will be back”
“The place to see and be seen. Delightful aromas. Stylish, thought-provoking decor. The cocktail menu was great. The delicious small, medium and large plates were just right for those who want to linger over tastings and conversations. Bart gave us excellent service ?I would love to go back, but prices would probably only reserve it for special occasions.”

“The seasonal touches on the menu are great. We went during morel season and had a crespelle with morels in a wine sauce that was incredible. There are a several different dish sizes to choose from which makes it easy to try a few different things. The pastas were made in house and top notch. The staff was also very friendly. It felt like having a delicious dinner at a friend’s house!”
“Excellent! Hands down the BEST jollof rice! Madam Oga is a great hostess, she is so sweet and it shows through her food. The jollof rice and chicken was outstanding. I also tried the fried chicken and it was tasty too. The meat pies are huge and a meal by themselves. The ginger beer is spicy and sweet. ? We enjoyed everything about our meal. The resturant is also super cute and welcoming inside. I highly recommend and will certainly return when in the area.”
“I ordered French fries and the shredded chicken arepa (fried shell) and brooo it was so good I kinda wanted to cry. I could feel the dopamine and serotonin just pulsing thru me post ingest. Cant wait to try more of their menu items.”
“What a nice surprise. I usually judge a place by their ability to do something correctly, for this Eggs over hard. You would be surprised how miraculously some places mess this up. But Brothers got it perfect, first try. I will be back, great tasking food, cool vintage atmosphere, and great prices too.”
“Fresh Mediterranean style bowls. Take your own order kiosk and they bring the food out to you. Very efficient once you get past the technology. I’ll definitely be back. Staff was very friendly.”
“Food is great- cocktails are great and the room/location are beautiful! Staff is kind and attentive. The food and drinks are a little pricey for brunch. I encourage the powers that be to generate a few cocktail options that are $14 or less, put the coffee in bigger cups/ provide more of it, and to add a piece of toast to the mushroom/gruyere omelet order.”
“Drunk Donald's has risen again! Came for the memories, and also a classic McDouble with fries. So happy to see McDonald's back in Dinkytown again! I will say it's a lot cleaner now and the only way to order is from the robot kiosks which is honestly for the best given its less than sober clientele. Honestly the new McD's is fab, but minus points for it only being one level now. So glad to experience this important college rite of passage again!”
“great atmosphere for watching sports, great mix of music and awesome staff! we had Sasha as our server and she was very attentive, helpful, and so welcoming! We were looking for somewhere to watch the first half of Sunday football while eating time to go to the airport and this was the perfect spot!”
