Nice upscale place with good food. Was at a business lunch and we were able to have a good conversation without too many interruptions...

Disappointing service and food.Ordered the PKB salad with salmon - salmon was tasteless, very undercooked (and I like Med Rare salmon), salad missing tomatoes and avocado, chicken was extremely dry and flared up during cooking with burnt taste. This is all after waiting 15 minutes for a greeting, 15 minutes for beverage (30 min total passed) and 30 minutes from order time for the salad. This all being said, I did speak with a manager and she dealt with it professionally.

I am so disappointed in this restaurant. First let me preference this review, this restaurant is walking distance to the MCC so logic would dictate that they would be ready for larger groups. Especially given that this is a restaurant attached to a hotel that's walking distance to the hotel. All of that to say. A group of 10 black professionals came and asked to be seated. The hosteess was so Incredibly rude, she refused to even consider accommodating us as a group. I am so disappointed and I hate leaving negative reviews.

We happen to be going to the convention at the Hyatt so we stopped here to eat. I really liked the food. It was pretty overpriced but it was nice to see they had vegetarian and vegan options available. The service was not so great. We had to wait a really long time to get anything including drinks. Our waitress seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. We had to keep asking someone else for help.Again I liked the food more than the experience of eating here.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have a single ramp that goes into the restaurant. It's really steep and hard to get up. I don't recommend trying to get into the restaurant by yourself if you're in a manual wheelchair.

Tucked away inside the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Prairie Kitchen & Bar offers a delightful surprise. While hotel restaurants sometimes get a bad rap, Prairie Kitchen shatters those expectations. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor, as the name suggests, incorporates natural elements, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated space. But let's get to the good stuff: the food! The menu features New American cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. While I didn't delve into the entire menu, the flatbread absolutely stole the show. The crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful, providing the ideal base for a symphony of toppings. Here's where my experience gets personal. Be sure to ask about the specific flatbreads on offer – they change seasonally based on what's fresh and delicious. However, the praise doesn't stop at the food. The service at Prairie Kitchen & Bar was exceptional. My server was attentive without being overbearing, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring my dining experience was top-notch. They were knowledgeable about the menu and clearly passionate about the restaurant, which added another layer of enjoyment to the meal.Overall, Prairie Kitchen & Bar is a hidden gem within the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency. The food is delicious, with a special shoutout to the amazing flatbreads, and the service is friendly and professional. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or a local looking for a great meal, Prairie Kitchen & Bar is definitely worth a visit.

We were here for a convention and thought we'll give this a try as it was convenient. I ordered the PRK burger but subbed for the beyond burger, but I was disappointed that it was an upcharge of $4 for something probably less expensive than 2 beef patties. It was ok for a vegetarian option. The chips were good. I was just a bit shocked that a burger, chips, and one alcoholic drink, plus the charged gratuity, was over $40 for one person. The server was ok, but the service was slow. One person asked for the sauce to be on the side and not on the entree and forgot that detail. Thankfully, he did comp her meal. It took quite a bit of time for the food and the checks. The server even charged the wrong cards in two of the books even when they were all separated. We could have used more water refills. It happened to be convenient, and we had a meal but would probably go elsewhere.

The servers are really great here. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were really delicious. I’d eat here again for sure. Huge portions of food and fresh ingredients.

Wow, my dinner at Prairie Kitchen and Bar in the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis was a total letdown! I ordered salmon, expecting a delicious meal, but it ended up making me sick. When I told the restaurant about it, their reaction was so disappointing--they only offered me crackers and ginger ale, and that too a whole day later, after they heard others had the same issue. Seriously? That's all they could do? It felt like they really didn't care about what happened to me at all. 0 stars do not recommend.

Good food per hotel standards. Nothing special. Pricing was inline with similar restaurants. Service was great. Open air with lots of noise.Parking: Loring parking ramp

It was so cold during our stay that we ended up eating at the hotel. You can eat warm food, but it somehow leaves something to be desired. The staff service is not sensible or fast.
