I LOVE THIS PLACE! The Tan Tan Men I ordered was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The flavor of the broth and the texture of the ramen is PERFECT! Definitely coming back AGAIN! Can’t wait!!!!!
We came to specifically eat at Kawae because of the good reviews. I would say it lived up to the reviews. Great execution, good flavor, more than enough food.However, the ramen we got (Tonkotsu) was too rich for us and didn't have enough/any vegetables. I know that's not really a thing with ramen (pork is), but it's my thing since I don't eat much meat. Months later and I cannot stop thinking about this place! I had tonkotsu. Broth was the stand out for me. Everything else had there place though. It's worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. 10/10 do recommend.
