“Great service and good food. We are staying at the hotel (Four Points) that is connected to this restaurant. So far (day 1) we've eaten breakfast and dinner here. Both were really good. The Four Points Breakfast was satisfying. But the Wednesday BBQ and Brews was incredible. The ribs = awesome. The kids loved the pulled pork, cole slaw, and chicken nuggets.“
“One of if not the best BBQ places in Minnesota! Luckily I live pretty close so I come somewhat frequently. Never disappointing and they run some great one off specials every Tuesday. Love the fact the meat is all served un-sauced, and there are a bunch of house made sauces to pick from including one of my favorites a mustard/vinegar type. Add on a smoked cheddar jalapeño sausage to your order and thank me later.“
“We had Von Hanson's cater our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Food was excellent! Service was excellent!I also want to make sure to mention that, even though they are primarily a butcher shop, they also provided some great vegetarian options for our friends and family who do not eat meat.I do not recall the names of the two people who worked our event. I was the groom, and got a lot of names thrown at me that day, but they were fantastic. For the owners, our event was on 9/16/23 at 6pm. The two people who worked it were amazing.“

“I can't wait to go back!! The aroma in the parking lot will send you running in. It was our first time here. We both ordered pulled pork sandwiches and they were soooo delicious and on point: moist tender smoky meat on a grilled brioche bun. So top notch. The bbq sauces are out of this world! I'm buying bottles next time. The cole slaw was very good as well as the mac n cheese. Person taking our order was very friendly and efficient. Only thing I noticed is I think they need more space as its kind of small there and was hoppin and pretty crowded at lunchtime.“
“Finally tried out northbound smokehouse and it did not disappoint! They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area great for when weather permits! (Picnic tables outside on the patio) There are plenty of drink options from beer, cocktails, wines, to non alcoholic. I ordered the cider sidecar (7/10) and tried one of the IPAs (8/10) and thought both were pretty good. For food we got smoked wings (sweet and spicy 7/10) and cheese curds (8/10). For my main meal I got the brisket grilled cheese which was delicious! (9/10) Our server was very tentative and our food came out timely! I will be returning in the future!“
