I really appreciated the number of vegan options and variety they had. The vegan buffalo bites were the consistency of falafel but taste similar to buffalo wings. The seating is ample and partially covered, the view of the lake is excellent, and you didn't have to wait long for your food. Painted Turtle is the perfect addition to Lake Nokomis!! Nothing disappoints - the food, the service and the vibes are all top notch! My go tos are the duck wings (the seasoning is phenomenal), buffalo chicken salad and the Chicago dog!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free stuff!

Super cute spot for casual lakeside eats! Affordable prices and everything tasted super fresh. Lots of parking available and great views from the seating area. Both the sausage and the chicken sandwich were yummy, and the waffle fries and tots were perfectly crispy! The standout was the cookies & cream shake, totally worth it!
