I turned up for a slice around 12:15 on a Monday. I saw a sign out front offering a lunch combo for $6.50. Sure enough, you can get a slice, 4 garlic knots, and a 12-oz. soda can for $6.50 here. The knots have a great texture and are seasoned with a subtly garlicky butter sauce. The pizza slice is generous, NY style, foldable. The cheese-sauce-crust ratio is delicately balanced. I'll be back soon for a party of pies.
I ordered a magnum large pepperoni pizza from Uptown Pizza. The sauce is pretty good with a little bit of spice, it was very light on cheese compared to the the last time I ordered and my pizza was overcooked. I've gotten their pizza dozens of times, and we love it because they have the "Magnum" extra super duper large pizza. It's good quality, New York style pizza, better than all the chain pizzas.
